Effective January 1, 2017, our staff will be updated to reflect the following:
FACTION OWNER
Natasi Fortan - "Big Picture," Faction Culture, Propaganda, Special Projects, Overarching faction storyline (non-war)
FACTION ADMINISTRATORS:
Rolf Amsel - Knights of Ren, General Strategy, Deputy FO, Overarching faction storyline (war)
Ludolf Vaas - Keeper of Military Ranks, Ground Forces development coordinator (tanks/armor/weapons)
Roderik von Brinkerhoff - Member coordinator (new member outreach), Military Strategy, Starfighters development coordinator
FACTION MODERATORS:
Valessia Brentioch - Keeper of Military Assets and Planetary Holdings list (possibly also faction threads list)
NEW STAFF INITIATIVES:
Project Focus: I'd like each of us to take some initiative on projects for the faction. We should always have some kind of forward momentum in the faction -- always something for people to do and contribute to. As much as I don't want the precedent that the faction only is in action when we (staff) are leading the charge, I recognize that we have some members who need handholding, so we do need to have something on offer. We can plan for things in advance as part of the overarching faction storyline. I expect to work closely with Rolf Amsel on this.
Communication: I want to create a "Ask the Staff" thread where people can ask questions, and we can discuss it among the administrators to be sure we are all on the same page. Typically these questions have been put across on DIscord or over PMs, but I really want to have questions discussed as a group first before announcing an answer.
Regular meetings: semi-monthly or monthly staff meetings to touch base and discuss projects.
STAFF EXPECTATIONS:
- Respectful discussion among each other and in front of others.
- Model acceptable behavior in chat and on the board. Lead by example.
- I am the Penny your Faction Owner, thou shalt have no Faction Owners before me.
- Generally, attend staff discussions. Not compulsory, but helpful.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD:
I'm giving this new setup some time to work. If it doesn't work I reserve the right to make changes.
