- Description: The 34th Assault Army serves as the primary ground force for Director Craig's fleet. Classified as an assault division, the 34th employs a variety of battle tactics and war equipment to engage hostiles on the ground. Well trained and well armed the 34th are a well known and highly respected fighting force. They are known for their bravery, unwavering loyalty and extreme dedication.

- Combat Function: Due to the First Fleet’s unique role in Black-watch as a security force, the 34th also serves as a security detachment for the First Fleet, therefore, the 34th rarely participates in large scale battles, however they are equipped and trained for battle should the need arise.
Strengths:
- Experience - Comprising entirely of highly trained and ruthless members, the 34th is a fighting force to be reckoned with, it’s members required to train regularly in harder conditions than other units.
- Pocket Arsenal - Using a wide variety of state of the art equipment, the 34th has an advantage over most of the other ground forces due to a special contract with the N&Z Umbrella Corporation and the Advanced Weapons Research Department, granting them first use of any updated and advanced technology including prototypes.
- Recruit - Due to the amount of rigorous training required, both physically and mentally, recruits are hand selected and therefore not many troopers qualify to join the 34th.
- We Need Backup! - The 34th makes up the bulk of the First Fleet’s ground force. If under heavy fire or taking heavy casualties, the 34th relies on ground units called for from other fleets or nearby garrisons.
With the First Fleet serving in a sort of grey area jurisdiction, not exclusively under the Navy, the 34th assault army or detachment serves the interests of the fleet and her commanding officer rather than that of the Eternal Empire's navy. After the Zweihander Union's fold into the Eternal Empire, and Ben's transfer over to the Eternal Empire's intelligence agency, the 34th acts merely as the First Fleet's security force.
To have direct control over the fleet and the army, Director Craig chose to be supreme commander over his forces, his generals and commanders acting as mere military and strategic advisors. Not a typical army or ground force, the bulk of the 34th is composed of elite Executor Troopers thus allowing for more strategic and covert operations rather than the common ground campaigns.
