- Unit Name: The Hellstompers
- Affiliation: Gress D'ran , The Galactic Alliance
- Classification: Armored Walker Battalion
- Description: Formed out of non-humanoid recruits, Gress formed the 34th into a well oiled machine. The 34th were created mostly as a test bed for newly adopted designs, as a way to allow the GADF a combat efficient way to throw stuff at the wall, and see what sticks. With the Maw beaten, and the war with the Mandos starting up, the GADF wanted a full restructure of it's technology, and the Hellstompers were the best way for command to allow things to see their baptism by fire.

- Combat Function: Trained in Walker warfare, Gress's general tactics as a commander rely on overwhelming firepower from his walkers and tanks, while the men on the ground charge forward with support from the walkers. Heavy armor protects the men inside, while collaboration with other units allows the walkers to approach and suppress an objective unopposed.
Further refinement of the 34ths tactics after the Battle of Coruscant has adjusted the tactics of the Hellstompers to become an extremely heavy support unit, designed to act as a looming threat over the battlefield. Heavy use of indirect fire, arcing fire, suppressive barrages, and pincer movements allow the 34th to act as it's own support, companies supporting each other in heavy fire. - Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): N/A
- The Future of Warfare: Designed as a test bed for GADF designs, the Hellstompers are equipped with top of the line equipment, all heavily armored and equipped to defend itself.
- Shrug it Off: The tanks and walkers of the Hellstompers are designed to walk off extremely heavy fire that would put the fear of god in other armored units, including artillery strikes, CAS strikes, and even minor orbital bombardment.
- Combined Arms: Created as a supplement to the other GADF ground forces, the Hellstompers are the armored right hook to support the flurry of jabs of GADF infantry.
- Slooooow: The Hellstompers are not designed for speed. They are designed as walking fire support for other units. If you abandon them, they will eventually be overwhelmed.
- Xeno MFs: The Hellstompers are full of alien troopers. They tend to be a bit tough to work with as a result, and can be seen as the odd man out in a battle.
- Battle Buddies: The Hellstompers, due to being seen as general outcasts within the GADF due to their biology, are a tight knit unit. Any man lost is a tragedy, as everyone knows everyone by name.
Formed in response to a rise in Mando aggression within the outer rim, the Hellstompers were a newly formed unit by the time the Battle of Ryloth took place. With the Enclave War seemingly a flash in the pan, the 34th quickly found themselves retasked with taking on what would become the Dark Empire, as well as the Sith Order.
Their first new assignment was holding the line on Yavin, which was done valiantly had it not been for the ordered retreat off the planet. Thus began the legend of the 'Undefeated 34th'.
First engaging Kroeger 's Iron Legion on Onderon, the 34th showed it's merit against former NIO tech, holding it's own against the Cataphracts of the Iron Legion, the 34th's heavy walkers and reliance on supressive barrages allowed the GA forces to push back the imperial war machine. The same could be said about their second encounter on Empress Teta, the 34th holding a river by destroying several key crossing points across the river, forcing the Imperials to rely on repulsortech and heavy walkers to cross the river under fire.
Their first run in with the Sith's newly formed Chaos Pact, came at Mirial, with a total strategic victory against the fanatic horde, heavy armor and superior firepower crushing the horde under their steel boots.
Their shining moment was, thus far, the Defense of Coruscant, the Hellstompers playing a pivotal role in acting as a bulwark of the defense, and eventually heavy support of the counter offensive against the Imperial Forces.
With many battles on the horizon, the 34th is an ever adapting unit that intends to find the weakness in all enemy forces, and loom over the battlefield in victory for the Alliance.
