- Description: Composed of remnants of the Chiss Expeditionary Defense Force [CEDF] and refugees of the Mawite invasion of the former Chiss Ascendancy, volunteers to serve the Empire as a fierce fighting force.

- Headquarters: Bastion, Ravelin
- Goals: Protect and serve the Empire. Protect the Chiss. Eliminate all Sith and Darkside affiliated organizations and/or individuals with extreme prejudice.
- Reputation: The Hellions are savvy, proficient, and self-motivated operators, comfortable with using Chiss and Imperial arms interchangeably. A relatively new organization, they are still making a reputation in the Corps.
- Army Size: Medium, composed of roughly 6,400 troopers.
- Composition: The Hellions can serve in a variety of roles- infantry, shock-trooper, artillery, spec-ops, and heavy weapons/anti-vehicle support. However, they don't have much in the way of mechanized infantry, necessitating the need to act in concert with other units to achieve maximum effectiveness in theatre-level conflicts.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Never again.
Following the destruction of their homeworld, and the subsequent sundering of the Ascendancy by the Brotherhood of the Maw, the Chiss- once a proud, strong race- was brought low and scattered across the cosmos. A number of Chiss sought and received asylum from the Empire. From this number, the Empire of the Hand was born- a particularly militant faction of Csillan revanchists, fanatically opposed to the Brotherhood of the Maw, and loyal to the Empire that provided them shelter from the storm.
The Hand fervently believed in the vision of Empire, and that the Chiss would flourish best under the stewardship of Imperial rule. To that end, the 407th Regiment was stood up in 874 ABY, shortly before the Battle of Tython, where the Hellions systematically targeted and executed Sith targets of interest.
The Hellion's goals are two-fold: to protect their new home, and to ensure Chiss will never again will be at the mercy of the capricious, wanton violence represented by the Sith.
