DESCRIPTION
The 451 Exoskeleton was created by Syd as a protective battle gear for her new Apprentice, Starlin Rand. Knowing there are still deficiencies in his technique, Syd provided him with this armor to mitigate those weaknesses at the moment, though Syd was quick to remind him that the best shield wasn't getting shot, and as Starlin advances in The Force, he will need to rely on it less.
It's Flame and Magic protections also serve another purpose. Should Syd for whatever reason revert to being Darth Phyre, Starlin will have the perfect gear to kill her with, or, if not kill her, at least survive her.
