- HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The unit for formed around and expanded one a clone wars unit type the RMSU (Rembulic Mobile Surgical Unit) these mobile surgical hospitals would do their absolute to keep the troops alive, and get back into the fight, or stabilize them enough to Medevac to ship or another proper medical facility, a GADF Combat medic Samuel "Bata" Renfrew a student of all things combat medicine related, pitched Idea to add in Combat medics with front line troops, as well dedicated medical ships, and mEDEVAC squadrons to maximize the troops chance at survival, the brass liked the idea, and Samuel was instrumental in the founding of the unit which earned a promotion. The unit was a trial run to see how effective it was, and the casualty rate when it was able to be fully deployed, should prove to be a success more like would be formed.
