GENERAL INFORMATION

• Description: The 82nd Legion, also more popularly known as the Red Furies, is a typical ad hoc Legion of Sith Troopers with accompanying support staff. They operate and adhere to the Legion doctrine and SOP. Though the majority of the Legion is comprised of conscripts from Sith space, other portions are recruited from successful invasions such as Velmor.

Strengths:

• Adaptable: This Legion is comprised of various light style infantry units and Legionaries from across the Outer Rim, each bringing their own experiences and expertise to the unit while following general unit SOP. Due to their training and focus on light movements and quick drop and go tactics, they tend to be very fluid on the field of battle and quick to react.
• As My Lord Commands: The enlisted and officers of this unit strive for valor through combat and would never seek to displease their superiors or their Sith Lord. They do as told.

Weaknesses:

• No Bombad Heavies: Due to this Legions focus on quick strikes and multi-pronged insertions, they lack the ability to field heavy ground vehicles or artillery and rely on friendly units to provide true siege and anti-tank arms.
• Cohesion: While this Legions cohesive nature of ordered drill and strict discipline can be a boon, it can also sometimes be a deterrent. When taking into consideration the varied cultures of some of its recruits it can make for volatile colleagues who may not understand each other. The only thing keeping them united is their Doctrine, Training and their Lord.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The 82nd Sith Legion, otherwise known as the Red Furies, have a long and glorified history. Once apart of the Sith Empire before its dissolution, the Legion served on many fronts in the various conflicts of the Outer and Mid Rims. Due to their fighting style, they were always called upon for their expertise and effectiveness at quick atmospheric insertions and rapid strikes. Though they are able to bring most PDFs to their knees any long term conflict would see them resort to asymmetric warfare unless supported by a heavy mechanized unit.

The 82nd was founded by Darth Furys previous, now deceased, Master and served the Sith Empire loyally and with valor, earning many unit commendations. After the fall of the Empire, Darth Fury and his master used the legions assets and its accompanying fleet to conquer the planet Velmor before Fury executed his master and took command. Now, he returns to Sith Order space and has joined the 82nd alongside its fellow Sith Legions, eager to serve.
