850ABY Freia Kallea Business Summit

The first part of the summit was led by the Association of Galactic Explorers as a presentation. It acted as a detailed showcase of various star systems yet to be charted and proposed hyperspace and subspace lanes. The presentation included images taken from monitoring stations while also reconstructing a possible image of said planet in the future due to the light years gap. Other planets had up to date footage due to the usage
of recon droids.
Soon after, a lunch break was given to the participants before engaging them into the second part of the summit where actual dialogue was to be held.

The second part was where it all began for the participants, explorers and corporations alike. Two layers of chars formed in a circle, with each seat having an interactive screen before them. In the center of the circle was a holoprojector that showed extremely detailed information regarding the previously showcased items - be it planets, star systems, hyperspace and subspace lanes that are yet to be uncharted.

Vitor felt the cold touch of his force disperser talisman as he sat relaxed on his chair and observed the terrain shifting of the planet that appeared on the holoprojection. A lush planet it seemed, the explorers had deemed her capable of sustaining life and potentially a farm world. Moreover, geological experts believe the planet might be home to a wide array of minerals, including precious gemstones.

"That's all nice and well, yet it does not serve the interests of those such as me who have business in the steel industry." An impatient remark came from an overly dressed Umbaran. His clothing spoke of immense wealth or of lifestyle engulfed in vanity.

The A.G.E representative held out a finger politely before tapping a few buttons on his desk resulting in the change of the projection. The terrain zoomed out, turning into a green and blue planet, that zoomed out once more until the green and blue planet looked like a small orb next to a massive star.

The Umbaran was about to speak again when the representative zoomed into a black orb that was barely seen. It could be clearly seen the proximity to the star. Once again the Umbaran was to voice his complain and through the Force Vitor could read his thoughts 'why the hell do i need a dead planet for'. Certainly, the sun-baked world of searing rock did not give any other impressions.

"Southern Wild Space. Scientifically named uB-0413-h but commonly known as Jumay, initially believed to be a natural satellite of the farm world Hartern before recognizing that it was not a satellite but a smaller sized planet." The representative explained before adding the part for which most, if not all, corporation heads were waiting for. "We believe Jumay is extremely abundant in useful minerals."

Ooc/ Please go nuts with the holoprojection and use the A.G.E representative as you will. I feel like we could end up with a foundation for numerous Codex subs with our own narratives here. :)

Like many here, Krayzen had his own interests. The former Sith Knight knew that his mining interests would most likely serve him well, as well as getting shipwrights to build ships for what would certainly look like to be a big expedition. Krayzen had decided to bring in his own force disperser, wanting to hide his force signature around the individuals that are here. He however was ready to hide his force signature, as well as take other steps if need be.

As he looked around meticulously, he could see there seemed to be other cyborgs as well, spotting a fellow Anzat in particular. When he heard if the planet Juntor could have useful materials, his attention was gathered, knowing full well that precious gemstones were something that could earn billions of credits.

Krayzen decided to wait as she continued to finish her presentation, wanting to know all the details before asking any questions. He wondered if there was anyone he had met here before, or if there was anyone that knew of his previous exploits.

Axion stayed silent for the most part throughout the exchange of the elderly industrialist and one of the representatives, but in that silence the construct wondered why the gentleman was being so awfully rude. If his processors gauged the atmosphere, the pitch of the tone and the flush (blush of heat as it rose beneath the skin) right, then he was upsetting the representatives by a far measure. It didn't seem a reasonable reaction, but neither did the Czerka representative believe it was within his currently-assigned parameters to actually do something about it.

It had been made clear that today was a day of connecting with assorted businessmen, peddling contracts and ensuring the progression of Czerka up the corporate ladder.

This was what Axion did, then.

:: Query: What would the price range be? :: Not that the Tsil actually needed to use that sort of language, but for some reason it put humanoids at ease, when they assumed he was simply an advanced droid model. Instead of something far more... expansive and elaborate.

The lady blinked. Presumably she had not realized that they were already at that part of the conversation, but that was simply because Axion had already subtly linked himself up with their systems and received the information he would need to make an informed decision about this.

"Uhh, sir, we will get back to you on that." The lady said, before whispering something to another representative next to her.

Veryiana has little use for.. minerals or alloys.. what she had interest in was powerful artifacts and.. species, documented species that she could use. So she just aimlessly wandered and listening to different lecturers and people pitching ideas.

Silence grew strong among the participants as the representatives whispered between each other in response to a...droid's direct confrontation to the topic at hand. The machine spoke what everyone from the corporations' side thought.

"A rather high one." The male representative finally admitted. "We've found, though, that rather than building new ships - we could look towards our esteemed investors for already made ships. Lots of expeditions before required new ships to be built but a lower cost option exists on the table if we receive ships and retrofit them for the purpose of the journey."

"That's not to say that we are looking for investments regarding ships." The representative cleared his throat. "Qualified personnel, supplies, skills and information all count."

Vitor remained silent as he caressed his short stubble. It took him a moment before he spoke.

"Corondex can provide security." His thoughts went immediately to the paramilitary unit Wraithguard. A good experience for these men. Moreover, it would give him a bit more power when the expedition arrived at their destination.

The Dark Knight looked at the droid, admiring the machine learning, and other programming components that ultimately been set up to create the A.I. Speaking of A.I, he wondered if the representative was interested in anyone making one for this mission. An important question to ask later.

Krayzen then heard an unknown figure speak. He had never heard of Coronex, some of his time being spent on things that did not go hand in hand with the business world. Nevertheless, he would assess for himself how Coronex would do in the expedition.

"Drakos Systems will be more than happy to provide the ships necessary for the exploration." Krayzen said, wanting to get some business for himself.

The noseless blue man at the edge of the room smoothed out his tie. He took half a step forward, at the right angle for his motion to attract subconscious notice. A few faces turned his way and did a double take. It wasn't every day you saw a Yuuzhan Vong in a suit.

“I believe I have a source for emergency and pathfinding supplies,” he said. “At wholesale price, no less. Prefabricated shelters, portable sensors, sonic fences, modules which convert biomass to rations or fuel.” There were advantages to having ‘midlevel executive, Iron Crown Enterprises’ on one's resume. “Handheld medical diagnostic units, extremely durable boots - every kind of exploratory gear known to sapience.”

His shimmering cane hissed agreeably.

Immediately after, on the screens before the sharp dressed vong, the representative of Drakos Systems and Vitor details of the quotes needed to be filled for the expedition to have a standing chance of reaching their destination and setting a foundation for the operations there.

Vitor's list would be the least big. Both the Drakos representative and the Vong had massive lists show up in front of them full of details. Certainly, the A.G.E people did not expect a fully designed plan of procurement immediately but a nod and a shake of the hand was what this meeting looked at.

"As there is numerous other interested parties, we just ask of you to simply answer yes or no. Prices will be discussed later on." By later on the man meant after the summit. "We seek to find those of you committed and actually having the capability to commit." The last sentence came a bit blunt but after being taken a back from the direct inquiry of the droid earlier, the man felt to bring in control of the summit in his hands once again.

She cleared her throat and checked her data pad again.

She had her nephew with her, and this was as good a time as any to do business. Especially since Jast Shipwright Co. was looking to expand, and it's models of ships thus far seemed to be a perfect compliment to these mission sets.

"Well Jast shipwright Co. Can offer a few things." She said, trying to keep her voice level. She was a bit drunk and slurring her words, but she winked at her nephew. They had a great compliment of supplies, but no ships. That's where she would make bank.

"But it will require a contract. Ladies and gentlemen can I have your attention for a few moments."

Then she launched her pitch.

"My company has a ship that would definitely be of use to you. Might I suggest using a Merrill 1 Survey Ship:."

She paused, taking another sip from her flask and then consulted her data pad.

"Also my Yards have a myriad of vessels suitable for supply carrying. The Jast 1 Freighter has a superior hyperdrive, and extensive speed. You can use this as well as the Jast 2 Freighter and Jast 3 Freighter. If you get in a pinch, The Reclaimer 1 can patch you up and keep your fleet moving."

She paused again.

"Not sure if folks will need it but we also got a hundred gun ship, a decent stock Frigate the

Jast 1st Rate
She carries a squadron of fighters. Just in case you run into any Reavers or other nasty delights. I'd be happy to turn it all over plus replacement parts for ships as well as replacement ships. I'll just need a Contractual agreement. Six month contract, with a retainer fee. It gives you a deep discount, and if ya like our products, we can discuss a more long term arrangement. Offers on the table for any of you folks. Just say the word."
