Image Credit: MDSF Type-303 :: Ghost in the Shell :: Studio IGIntent: I did something I virtually never do; I saw something cool in media and finally decided "hey, I want to have that." And now, we have heavy battle droids for use as fire support and armored assault. I know it's a little big (almost 2x average human) but it's also slow and cumbersome and easy to see. In my defense... *points at Mandos*

Description: The Justicar/Adjudicator battle droid is a collaborative design by Subach-Innes and Ri'ess Regal Drives. SI developed the droid, RRDI bought the design rights and packed in some goodies. Both companies manufacture and produce completely independently and all parts, even while compatible, are clearly marked by their parent companies and registered inside their databases.
The Justicar/Adjudicator is a Heavy Battle Droid designed to serve the role of bipedal armor in the military, hence one term "We've got enemy armor, inbound!"
It is a semi-humanoid bipedal droid capable of walking up to two point five miles per hour. Heat-resistant, slip-resistant compound soles under the feet assist in balance and provide necessary grip to the very center-heavy droid. It is able to traverse complex terrain including stairs, though it is not designed to climb and has programming filters to prevent it from attempting to climb any uncertain slope beyond the one-meter high, sixty-degree steep threshold. It has a semi-digitigrade stance; it is not true digitigrade as there are only three joints in each leg (hip, knee, foot) and one smaller foot actuator per foot for each foot to conform to the shape of its ground surface. Each leg is capable of holding up to twenty kilograms of spare ammunition, provided it does not exceed the reasonable size constraint of the roughly twenty-five liter compartments.
One pair of arms, human in scale, is used for interfacing with humanoid machinery and equipment, while a primary larger pair are used for heavy firearms and labor. Despite the cumbersome and slow nature of the legs, the arms are actually comparative in agility and flexibility to a humanoid, with the larger pair being slightly less free in range of movement but still considerably fast. This allows the droid to be able to use external weaponry effectively without losing mobile targets. In each forearm of the larger pair is a Techno Union's twin blaster cannon which is internal and elevates from under the arm plating when activated. Beneath both barrels are a tungsten carbide duranium spike which is fired at high speeds via ACP Shell. The latter is used as a close-quarters armor penetrator effective only in contact range whilst the former is a secondary weapon system designed only when the droid's equipment is lost or damaged. The droid is capable of lifting up two hundred kilograms of carry weight and almost twice its weight in lift weight.
Because Subach-Innes also developed the Mirari bodyguard droid, similar routines and algorithms went into the making of the Justicar/Adjudicator dynamic and aware of allied living forces. Because of this, it can function as a protective shield of sorts, filling an armor role in the military and minimizing allied casualties whenever possible through convenient placement and aimpoint. As a side-effect, with extra programming done to repurpose the droids, they can be made solely into heavy bodyguards, effective at guarding compounds and shielding designated priority targets which includes people. They may also take commands in an almost identical fashion to the Mirari model, though they will not behave physically as the predecessor and should not be used as a civilian/private escort.
The Justicar/Adjudicator is submersible up to fifteen meters safely (but would have to be crane lifted out if it got that deep).
Justicars DO NOT have identifiable personalities; they DO NOT disobey orders and directives. (The only exception is for analog AI installation (PC only))
