Description: The A-94 Heat droid is a battle droid, designed to burn things. It uses intense bursts of flame, designed to destroy armoured troops, as the heat would cook them inside their armour. Though heat-resistant materials could be used effectively to protect against them, they were still useful against unprotected foes. Large numbers of A-97 were effective at razing building, and we're often used to destroy villages and the like. They are coated with a thin heat-resistant layer, after earlier models kept exploding from overheating. This protective layer keeps the droid safe from high temperatures, but a sustained blast of extreme heat can still get through. The A-97 did carry a lot of fuel, but it did end up running out quite often during battle. Thus, the A-97 has a self destruct mode, which can activate instantly, at the flip of a remote switch. This uses any remaining fuel, as well as a small extra reserve, and ignited it. The resulting explosion dies heavy close ranged damage, and thus empty A-97's can be used as suicide troops, if refuelling them is impossible.
