SPECIAL FEATURES
- Synthmesh is used as a facial covering/air filter.
- A tinted transperisteel visor protects the eyes.
- A duraplast helmet.
- The padded jumpsuit is made from layered denym and durafiber.
- An additional outer layer in the form of a protective vest and skirt are made from synthmesh.
- Flame Resistant: Synthmesh is mildly flame resistant.
- Chemical Resistant: The synthmesh facial covering protects the wearer from exposure to any poisonous chemical gases or aerosols.
- Hazardous Material Resistant: The synthmesh facial covering also keeps out other unwanted substances, preventing things like ash or smoke inhalation.
- Partially Blaster Resistant: The helmet, being made of duraplast, transperisteel, and synthmesh, is actually somewhat blaster resistant. An unintended benefit of the design.
- Partially Impact Resistant: The duraplast helmet and transperisteel visor is there to protect their head and eyes from most impacts.
- Only partially blaster resistant: If you really want to kill someone wearing this, you can just shoot them anywhere not covered by synthmesh. And in fact, the synthmesh itself is actually only lightly blaster resistant
- Only partially impact resistant: The armor only provides kinetic protection for the head. Punch them in the stomach.
- No radiation protection: You would think that people who might need to work on ship's reactors would need radiation protection, but Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair actually has a separate protective outfit for employees that do that.
- No ear protection included: Protecting your hearing is important if you're supposed to be working around loud machinery. Employees of Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair are asked to provide their own earplugs.
- No utility belt: Employees cannot carry tools around on their person, and must rely on a bulky tool chest or toolbox.
