A bag of tricks

[Matsu Ike]

Matsu was looking it all over now, they had been working on different projects within the order.. they had been working on parts of it here. Seeing a couple more of the projects that had been worked on and improved upon. "Master Ike, we have a working prototype." She was looking at it and there was a few other projects that the jedi had. She could see the cracken field kit that was on her hip now. Wearing the robes though she would be able to channel and focus the force energy. She needed to be able to channel the force powers into it. She had wanted the bag to be just that a bag but as she entered the room sh was looking at some fo the fashion designers.. or whatever they could be called here in Barsoon.

 

[Matsu Ike]

"Ah master Ike, we have it." She could see it, there a shoulder bag that was smaller compacted, focused and ready for anything... They might be able to throw at it. SMall inth metal latches and zippers, sasori beads of crystal on it and most importantly it was made from skylar material. A nice tough material most other kits didn't use... so there was that and the jedi master could feel the bag in the force as it almost pulled at you. She donned it and slid the strap over her shoulder. The small neck guard/rest whatever you needed it to be was almost perfect for her to feel before she was breathing in and out with the force slowly building within her. THis bag was a focus, their study of the children fo the jedi and their training toys had yielded results.

"Alright then, what can you tell me about it?" She was curious and taking it out to test in the field would be something important but first she would have to get a better understanding of how they had worked to implement her idea of the kit in the first place. The jedi master allowed the woman to speak as the zeltron stood next to the quartermaster.. elusive and foreboding compared ot many of the others. He was massive, muslced and tall with black dreads that matched his touch of facial hair... the forge and looms that he was able to work provided the jedi with their equipment so he was not one to waste his words or talents like many of the others who only did a few things here and there.

"As you know from our studies of the toys the children of the jedi had, each one was trained and used in a fashion to strengthen the force capabilities of others. From mental projection and learning how to finely navigate outside of your body. Across distances in some cases with the mental maze to how to manipulate with the force the smallest compoents with the sands in the chamber. Some of the other toys were for telekinesis, ionizing droids and this we have fashioned to teach a rare skill the Altisian jedi knew. THeir master's talent of compression and shifting materials in the bag would in theory alow it to hold near infinite objects as the space sould be so small it barely registers to you."

She ewas looking at him as he explained the bag and the jedi master wasn't going to deny for someone so large and built like a grav ball player for smashing through.... he was skilled and knew how to work in the forge. He had crafted the pieces within the loom and the materials were interlayed with the inth metal delicately. He finished explaining about it being like the childrens toys but so much more while she was wearing it and her mind went focused. Connecting with that resonating field she held within herself, the energy from the heart of the universe she was able to connect with and the jedi master slid into the main compartment a few supplies that they made.

The force was within her and she reached for it, pulling at the energy when she connected to the ancient crystal. Powerful, connected to the force and something she had managed to find long ago. Much like the sun of the sun and the Fell star that she researched and had seen within the jedi order. THe artifacts were important to the force and more so when she was letting the energies pass through herself as she focused on the bag. It wasn't an easy thing to do, you had to collapse and shift without destroying which required the most delicate levels of care at the smallest levels of the object or objects. She had seen it used and with Corvus on belsavis they had managed to find materials within the well where the children of the jedi had ben kept safe.

Matsu was looking at some other parts of the bag and slowly she managed it... focus and determination as the force pushed the objects into their own little pocket within the pocket. Making them disappear to most eyes but she could feel it there. Like a lump in the force as it were and spoke. "THere we go." The bulge that was in the bag had vanished as well, the materials somewhere only she couldd feel while she slowly backed away and then practiced feeling them again. It was meant to help train this, it made sense the bag was easier to do it but not by much. So she spoke. "Do we know what will happen if the bag is destroyed?"

 

[Matsu Ike]

He was looking down at her and spoke with his voice coming out with a deeper resonating baratone as it became a laugh. "I wouldn't do that master Ike, if the force is disconnected from the bag by yasalimiri or voidstone.... even vong biots it can cause the presence of the markers you feel to retrieve materials disappear." The man was saying it and she understoid, it would be bad if that happened, something lost forever in a pocket dimensional shift... if it was really valuable or important... no good. Some of the other things though wouldn't be to much of a risk as they could make this just another bag without the force.

She was looking at it and thought about a few other questions that might go well with it. "What about the protective qualities?" She knew it wasn't going to do much in terms of well protection.. it was a bag acter all but it they could make it and have it there able to function to cover that area of the thigh. The skylar was protective and resilient to a degree compared to most others and the inth metal buckles well they would serve far better for some fo the things that she had intended... also they were proving a lot better in most cases for just simply channeling the force if they wanted to make personal equipment and armor.

"It also won't offer much in the form of protection, it is compact and small maybe a hit or two but master Ike it is just a bag... as impressive as the skylar is it is a bag and will only cover so much of yourself. if it was a backpack I could see it more functioning to at least protect you there but it may be able to help you hip and when worn with the cracken field kit well you basicaly can balance yourself out. We'll make some jedi quickdraw holsters and sheaths to go under their arms if they start using the equipment. All the better to really get some fo the padawans geared up for missions. I will start working on a backpack as well with some of the things we have learned."

Matsu was looking at a couple of the other parts there, where she could fel the force within the bag and where she could go. For lab and forge work it was done. "Do we have a second bag? I'll take the prototype for myself if you are able to spare it. The more we make the better we'll get at them and the more we can slightly improve upon it." She got a nod of her head and he was moving over to a small corner. "WOuldn't be smart to only make one, this here was made at the same time. So we'd have a spare, I can start making a few more for the different environments and testing areas. Then we can see about sending them to some of the other jedi out there who might want such a bag."

 

[Matsu Ike]

Matsu gave a nod of her head in understanding and spoke having a grin. "Always nice to see your latest and greatest Mako. We will have to discuss some of the other things we have been thinking of and exploring. I know Kras has been working on a few projects and the restoration efforts will be needing some of your experimental touches." She got a nod of the jedi quartermasters head before he was walking back towards the loom and forge. The heat was there and a bolt of skylar material that could be used for anything they realy wanted to make. In this case a few more bags to test and hand out for others to test.
