A Ball to Relieve the Spirit. (Republic/Republic Allies/Business(wo)men)

Yusan stood in a large dining hall on the planet of Onderon, having gone to the queen and asked for her aid in holding this venture due to his recent spending in areas of the Republic that were vital to its survival after death. For now though he smiled as he drank from the wine and looked out as the Guests should be arriving soon. His invitation had been extended to Allies of the Republic, Senators, Soldiers, Generals, and Jedi alike. As well as prominent businessmen and women like those of say the CEO of Blastech or Kuat Drive Yards.

He was unsure how many would heed the invitation, but this was a chance to get away from the war and get away from the fighting, hoping that people from all over the Galaxy would find their way to Onderon and find a place where there is still peace among peoples and war can be set aside.

(( OOC NOTE: I would have added Sith to this, but i am unsure of the nature of the current break in our war and so i did not. I apologize to any Sith that wish to be in this though if [member="Popo"] gives the Ok and the promise nothing ICly will be done to you i will be glad to open this up to the Sith too. As a way to build a bridge towards peace and a brighter future where the galaxy isn't simply razed.

Torill entered the dining hall in his finest Senate robes looking around for a brief moment until spotting his good friend [member="Memorial"] standing nearby.

"Hello my friend." "Decide to let loose for a little bit and decompress from trying times?"

Torill smiled softly.

"What made you choose this planet for a Ball?" "Was it the nice views I saw while landing or do you have business ventures here?"

"Mister Holgor, good to see you as well. And no no, this place was chosen simply because it was among the easiest places to hold it and i had a few ties with the queen so she helped fund this. I hope you got here safely mister Holgor." He smiled at the other man and drank from the glass, the Eshan wine going down his throat as he smiled.

Torill smiled

"I got here well enough." "I should really learn to fly myself." "Too many more trips around the Galaxy and it will be cheaper than paying him to play taxi."

Torill reaches for a drink from a nearby table taking a tentative sip looking around.

"Am I that early to the party?"

"Apparently Mister Holgor, atleast from the grouping that i wanted to see you are. I am delighted after all that you are one of the people that responded to the invitation, that whole debacle in the senate considering the drafting option was a bit... unneeded at the current time."

Torill nods,

"I have always been of the mind if you give the people a reason to fight for you then you will never have to ask." " A people who have faith the government has their best interest's in mind."

Torill shakes his head sipping his drink.

"But I could use a night with out politics."
