A base on Azure

I'd like to begin development of various projects on Azure, with as much help as I can muster. I want to make Azure relevant, and I want to make it strategic, even if only for the Republic. Whether it houses the new Jedi Enclave, military bases, company operations, or other strategic sites, I'm fine with it. Submarine bases would be cool as well, maybe producing something akin to Marvel's helicarrier.

Any input is welcome.

Well, maybe we should come up with a list of foci for these installations?

Ie: Cultural, civilian/military production, military operation, etc.

Get a cohesive list and then start choosing locations and formulating designs!

A Republic Naval base would be ideal since Azure is on our far eastern border. (if it could be a lunar base that would be sweet!)

Adds to our logistical needs,
Provides jobs,
and so forth!

Totally dropped the ball with responding here.

A naval base would be outstanding and mesh in well with what I have in mind. Given the new map update, some sort of planetary defense system would need to be built and maintained. Additionally, a submarine and surface base akin to those of Kamino would be perfect. I'd be more than willing to outsource to Republic-affiliated companies looking to operate or headquarter themselves on Azure, so long as their mission falls in line with the Republics militarily. This would mean only companies that produce weapons or military vehicles would be allowed access to Azure as a production facility.
