A bit of training

Summer would have gotten very familiar with her saber and decided that she would eventually need to step up to the next level. She needed to get used to fighting another living creature. She would more likely than not be in a starship but just in case it came down to hand to hand she needed to be ready so she posted an open topic on Holonet looking for an opponent. She would have set the time and date and she would land her starship and climbing out with her helmet under her arm

Kalyn was told of Summer's whereabouts and was also instructed by the Master's to do some duelling with her along the way, saying that it would benefit the both of them. She spun her unlit saber in her right hand as she made her way towards the starship.

Summer would climb out in her normal flight suit. She would then reach onto her belt and pull her white saber and spin it

Kalyn was still a bit far from the ship but she could make out a figure down near the starship, she assumed it was Summer and quickened her pace slightly, once she was close enough she added a little bit of a Force jump at the end to close the gap between the two, "Hi." She greeted with a smile, holding her hand out.

"Hello." Summer would say taking the womans hand shaking it

"So, I'm sparring with you today!" She said with a bit of a smirk, excited. "The Masters said it would benefit both of us."

"That is very true" She would say cheerfully

[Kalyn Tyree]

Kalyn unhooked her saber from her belt and spun the hilt in her hand, "Have you had much training with your lightsaber?" She asked

"A little bit you?" She asked gripping hers

[Kalyn Tyree]

"Bit of training here and there." She replies.

"So how do you want to do this?" She asked curious

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

 

[Kalyn Tyree]

"We're training aren't we?" She said as she ignited her saber that rested in her right hand, the blue blade cracking with a hissing sound. "Let's train." She finished with a smirk and held her saber in front of her, both hands on the hilt, ready.

"That we are." Summer would say and placing both hands on her hilt she would hit the button and with a sharp crack her white blade sprung from the hilt.

Kalyn held her saber and instantly stuck out her right hand, letting go of the hilt, she force pushed [member="Summer Sovereign"] backwards and immediately started running forward before jumping up and bringing her saber down as she neared summer.

Summer would be pushed but maintain her footing. As the saber was brought down she would block and then go on the attack. She would begin to use Pyrokinesis to heat up the hilt of the womans lightsaber to try to make her drop it. She would also bring down her saber with great force

Kalyn looked down and saw the hilt of the saber turning an orangey colour, she tried to hold on as long as she could but she knew if she held on any longer she'd get burned. Eventually it became too much, she dropped the saber to the ground as the blade retreated into the hilt and the sizzling of the weapon calmed down. She looked back up and saw Summer coming down on her with her saber, she held her hands up to attempt to use the Force to stop her, it held Summer at bay, centimetres away from Kalyn, but she couldn't hold this up forever. She ceased using the Force and rolled to the side, narrowly missing the lightsaber blade. She rolled before coming to a halt in a crouched position, she held her hand out and her saber came flying back to her, she ignited it and went in for a jab at Summer.

Summers saber would smash into the ground cleanly. She would hope the other saber was set to low power and would block it barely

Kalyn's attack was blocked. She flipped back with one hand on the ground and landing back on her feet. She held her saber in a defensive way, awaiting her opponents next move.

Summer would approach and lash out with a heavy strike. She would slash out her white blade casting a strange shadow over her face. She knew it would probably be blocked but still she tried.

Kalyn could either dodge or block the move, she decided to block it and adjusted her grip on the hilt of the blade. As soon as [member="Summer Sovereign"] came closer Kalyn slashed her saber down and the two pushed against each others strength.
