A Chance Meeting

Alli was drinking again. She couldn't forgive herself for what she had done to her ex wife. Yet she knew she deserved it. She had betrayed her. She had loved another, and married another. It tore at her heart. So she downed another shot glass. It was all she could do to try to forget it. She needed her friend Coryth but she hadn't been able to find her. So she was content to drink away her problems. That was a decent solution right?

How ironic then that Circe was not only alive, but had joined the Sith and trained an Apprentice. That now Ex Apprentice, Sith Knight Nicholas DragonsFlame, ironically enough the younger brother of the Best Man at Circe's Bigamist Wedding to Jak Sandrow, Jedi Council Member Joshua DragonsFlame, was sitting on a stool near the distraught fellow redhead, happily celebrating killing another Jedi. It had been a good day for Nick, who not only managed to kill a Jedi the day before, but got to go home where a good night was waiting. After that, he had decided to buy a couple of drinks, take a load off and take a moment to enjoy the life he led.

As he drowned a cup, he noticed the maiden beside him brooding in misery. Usually, Nick generally hated just about everybody. But he was in a good mood today, and didn't feel like having the vibe spoiled by a maiden in hysterics. So, he thought, why not see how she fared?

Turning to face the woman, he gave a slight smile under the hood of his Sith Knight robes. "And why so glum, may I ask, my dear?" He inquired.

Alli wouldn't normally talk to a man about this but she figured why not. " I am haunted by old emotions. I killed and turned in my ex wife, the damned witch betrayed me and married Jak Sandrow dispite being married to me. I know I was justified in my acts. I know she was already dead but. But she betrayed me. I need to forget, so here is to forgetting. " she said as she took another swig of whatever the bartender had given her.

Nick raised an eyebrow under his hood.

"Waaaaiit a minute... You're Alli Wren, aren't you?" He asked, his tone turning serious. "You're the vixxen that stole my bounty on Circe"

But then his demeanor changed and he laughed. "Ah... But old grudges are old. I killed an old hutt, took his bounty and his treasure, so I'm set for life regardless, so I think I can forgive" he said.

"Ah.." He realized. "You don't know the truth, do you?"

"What truth?" She asked, downing some more. " Sorry, she sort of presented herself on a platter. " She said with a laugh. Killing a hut was no easy task she had to say. She wondered what he had to say. The truth was it? Alli wondered what he had to say.

He kicked his feet up on the bar and took another drink.

"Circe's alive" he said simply. "Joined the Sith, disguised herself under the guise of Pandeima before revealing her true identity to the galaxy once more in a new body, and apparently is still with Sandrow. Funnily enough, she took me as an Apprentice when I first joined the Sith, before leaving me to rot on an enemy ship rigged to float out in space for eternity. So if someone happens to... Yknow, kill her permanently? I wouldn't mind" he said with a slight smile.

Alli was shocked, "She is alive?" She said her face turning almost instantly. Showing her anger. She couldn't believe it Alli 's wife had pretended to die. She had let Alli not know. It was too much to take. Alli's glass dropped and broke on the floor, and by the time that anyone noticed she was gone. She had things to do.
