It is said that Kade ventured into the jungles of Dromund Kaas after his parents were crucified by the Ashlan Crusade and in the jungles he slew a Terentatek with his bare hands. Whatever the truth may be, the club is indeed carved from the jawbone of a Terentatek, with its hilt wrapped in the creature's hide. As Kade carved the jawbone, he poured his hatred into the weapon, as he thought of all the ways he would reap his vengeance upon those who took his family from him. Utilizing forbidden Sith techniques, he alchemized the bone, causing it to become harder than steel.
