Sigyn Vanir had spent a lot of time after she had joined the Jedi traveling around the galaxy. Before she was found to be force-sensitive, she had only known her homeplanet, Midvinter. But after she left, her master, and other Knights had begun taking her With them when they went to Places to help People. This had shown how little Sigyn had actually known of the wider Galaxy. It had intrigued her. After she had learnt what she thought was the basic use of the force, and made her own lightsaber, she had asked permission of her master to go on a Journey around the Galaxy. A Journey of discovery, and a pilgrimage, cause she had often tried to seek out other jedi enclaves, or temples, or other sites With force-sensitive Groups.
The planet of Velabri was not the most pleasent planet Sigyn had been on. Nor were the People that lived there, who shared name With the planet. It was currently Winter on Velabri, which Sigyn preffered to summer. But the planet, or at least the part Sigyn was on, lacked nature. There were few trees around. Instead, the terrain was filled With big, rocks in different shapes, but mostly pointy. And the People there were not particularly friendly towards strangers. Many of them had refused to talk With her, and no one had accepted her into their house, which meant that she had to sleep in the small ship she came in. And they weren't very proficient With the force either, preffering to use muscle and weapons to solve their problems.
Thus, instead of trying to learn Things from the warlike race, Sigyn was taking a walk in the nature the planet had, meaning snow-covered rocks. She was used to Cold, but to be safe, she was wearing warm clothes, and a green hooded-cloack over. From what little she had got from the Velabri, she had learned that there were few predators on the planet. So she was not especially alert, instead trying to feel out to the planet through the force.
