William Kerkov Sr

William Kerkov sat in the metal chair of the recruitment office. The Open Circle Armada needed more commanders and their ships to join. After a scandal to the Armada almost all of the commanders had left besides Kerkov. The OFA was just a shell of it's former self. He looked out the glass wall off to the left at the end of the room, the space port of Terminus hadn't looked better. He watched as people passed by the clear door each with somewhere to go somewhere to be. It was dull here, but he liked meeting new recruits. Wiliam then gazed at the recruitment officer, he was in charge of enlisted recruiting. Neither of the men had any luck that day.
The recruitment officer returned his gaze, "Sir, why are you here doing such a demeaning job that you could easily leave a more junior officer in charge of?" William gave him a small grin, "Well I think if I am going to recruit captains and officers, I believe that I should get to know them before I serve and put my and your life on the line for them." The man looked down at his papers and thought for a second giving William a wuiet chuckle. As much as he liked talking with his fellow sailors he was keen for recruits.
