Personality: Absentminded, he often wanders off which can lead to him appearing in places he's not meant to be. Well Spoken, Y8 often speaks more than and sometimes for Ydrin. Constantly brutally honest.
Mannerism: Y8-S1, like the past HK Series, begins everything he says by stating what he's saying. For example: "Quiery: Are you feeling any pain.".
Weapon of Choice: DC-17 Hand Blaster
Wealth: No money.
Combat Function: While never going to be able to match up to any comabt droid, but Y8-S1 is capable is wielding a DC-17 Hand Blaster competantley, allowing him to serve in the field as a combat medic without being blown to pieces. Since Ydrin is his Master and the only person he's constantly been around, Y8-S1 works well alongside Ydrin.
