Serenno~Blackgate Manor~07:00
It was not a frequent event to have the door's to Blackgate Manor opened for visitation, however Adron felt it only right to make such comforts available to Master Gunn. The Gothic exterior to the icy compound was often misconstrued as being the reflection of the House that hosts it. However, that could not be farther from the truth. House Malvern had a long history of working with charity and enhancement organizations all around Serenno, even after the slaughter of Adron's family he continued the work his mother started years ago.

Seeing another such opportunity he invited the thought of bringing some manner of light to a galaxy that was so dipped in darkness. He walked through the icy snow that covered the grounds, a small escort of his Guards following in tow as he advanced towards the compounds landing pad.

They had agreed to meet at this day and the Count held a great deal of excitement for the meeting. His thick, ebony, cloak hung down to his boots as he stood in silence, awaiting the ship that would bring her to the manor.

The Golden Rose skimmed across the tops of the mountains, buffeted by icy air currents. In its cockpit Rosa let out a low whistle as Blackgate Manor came into view. Its many towers casting a shadow against the mountain beyond it. A t first glance, it seemed a cold and desolate place, but here and their warm light spilled from its many windows, casting a golden glow about it. Not since her days before the Jedi had she been received at such a place and she felt, just for a moment, slightly daunted by the prospect.

Experience and a reminder of why she was here pushed the almost childlike apprehensions from her mind. A brief conversation with security had her guided to a nearby landing pad, where a welcome party was waiting for her. That, she had definitely not expected, but then of course she was dealing with a Count. Traditions and appearances must be upheld. The Golden Rose, with her tarnished hull and dated outfit seemed a little out of place as its landing struts found purchase.

A moment later, as its engines died down, Rosa descended the landing ramp and stepped into icy winds, that swept her breath away. Using the force to warm herself, she strode confidently forward, stopping a few paces from Count Malvern and bowing respectively, her eyes flitting briefly over his escort as she did.

"Count Malvern, it is a pleasure to meet you." A warm smile accompanied her greeting, as did an aura of calm that stretched out in the force, causing even the rigid disciplined men at his heels to relax slightly.

Adron watched as the Jedi Master descended down towards Serenno's snowy surface, the Force shifting around her ever so subtly as she did.

She is utilizing Tapas. He mused, noticing the distinct ability from anywhere. It was one his house taught their children at an early age so they would adjust to the freezing temperature at a faster rate. She offered a bow, not lacking in grace in respect, that the Count received kindly. Taking her hand into his he would bow at his waist, allowing his right foot to fall behind his base. "My lady. It is my honor to welcome you to Blackgate Manor, House Malvern is privileged to have you."

Returning to his full height he would gesture back towards the manor with a smile. "Come, let us have some tea? Or perhaps some caffe if you wish?" He would offer.

Leading the receiving party back towards the manor he walked with an aura of authority and dignity, befitting the House he represented. As they climbed the large staircase to the main door Adron threw his hand forward, tapping into the twisting nether of the Force. The Door's slowly opened to him and his group, to reveal the elegant interior of the manor. Much of it taken from nubian design it had a very rounded-off structure that worked well with the black and teal coloration.

A moment was given for Rosa to take in the scene before he led them down a large corridor, adjacent to the main hall. Finally, they found themselves staring at a much smaller door, which the Count opened absent the aid of The Force. As he turned the door handle his security team made their exit, only one of the officer's remaining to stand guard in front of the door. More to ensure there would be no interruptions than for Adron's safety. Upon opening the door it would reveal a sizable study, the walls covered in various books and scrolls with a large ebony desk in the center. He gestured towards the guest seat on one side of the desk before making his way over to his chair that was on the other side.

"Now I assume you are not here for the tour so let us get to business shall we?" He said, taking on a pleasant tone.

The though of caff broadened Rosa's smile. "Caff would be wonderful." she replied, falling into step just behind Adron as they moved towards the manor entrance. Rosa tilted her head back as they ascended the great stone staircase that preceded the front door, casting her eyes above to the tall lit windows. It truly was beautiful, it even managed to stir a little interest from the beast she held locked in the back of her mind. A shiver ran over her that had nothing to do with the cold. Shaking her head slightly, to keep any thoughts of Layil clear from her mind she stepped over the threshold and into the lavishly decorated entrance hall.

"Oh my." she breathed appreciatively as her host paused to give her an opportunity to drink in the scene. Great domed ceilings dwarfed the escort and the walls were etched with delicate designs that greatly contrasted her initial view of the manor. Turing as she walked Rosa made sure she caught every last detail, before following Adron once more. She paused even in the study, eyes running over the scrolls fingers itching to read them. Only when the Count spoke did she remember why she was here.

"Oh, I don't know Count Malvern, I could be distracted with a tour." she chuckled before taking the seat he had indicated. "You have a very beautiful home, and i'm grateful for you inviting me here. But like you said, I'm here for business. I understand you run a shipping company? I guess our first point of discussion is what it is you are prepared to give?"

[OOC: Sorry for the delay! Its been one of those weeks at work XD]

Upon hearing Rosa's comment on the tour the Count could only chuckle in response to her words. Pressing on to business the Count pulled out a small datapad that showed a listing of sponsorship and patronage giftings that both The Dominion and his personal company were prepared to gift the foundation.

"As I am representing two different entities I'll have to split these items up. Now, The Dominion, or the Republic depending on the paperwork you look at.....is prepared to provide security for your operations. Gifting you two company's of fully trained soldiers for up to two years. Their upkeep, pay, and lodging will be paid by The Dominion. It numbers at exactly....seven hundred Peacekeepers. Now, these soldiers are all cross trained in first aid, survival training, and separate fields of labor. So they can be used as workers as well, however they are primarily soldiers. These are merely for the protection of your investments. "

Scrolling down the pad the Count paused before biting the tip of his thumb. "The Dominion will also allow you to operate within our territory. Opening up to two humanitarian/refugee/relief centers on any planet of your choosing except for Serenno and Ession. A list of our planets and territories are provided of course...."

"Ok, now. With those sanctuaries they will be considered your land, properity, territory, and responsibility. Meaning our government will have no jurisdiction unless there is cause to believe there is a national threat. At which point we will coordinate with you to intervene on said grounds."

"That is all we can provide at this time, as far as The Dominion is concerned."

"Now, moving on to my company, Malvern Shipping & Trade." He continued to scroll down until a small smile came to his face.

"I'd like to supply you with a transport fleet of ten Bulwark Transport ships, Survivor Class. They are frigates built for transporting goods, whether they be materials, people, or even other ships. Along with that we will have each hanger outfitted with a full compliment of our very own SS-105 Starfighter's to act as a defensive escort."

He continued down before handing the datapad to the woman. "Also we wish to donate the considerable amount of fifty million standard credits. Now all we ask in return is that The Dominion and Malvern Shipping & Trade are given the proper publicity for their contributions to your efforts." With that the Count leaned back in his chair, a warming smile still covering his face.

Rosa sat back in her chair, eyebrows raised in surprise. She had not come here expecting to negotiate terms with the Dominion also, that and the sheer quality of the donation both on part of the Dominion and Adron's company itself rendered her speechless for a brief moment. Gathering her thoughts and choosing her words carefully, she sat upright again. "That's incredibly generous." she began with a smile. "But I hope you will not take offence when I say that I cannot accept it, not in its entirety. In truth, I was only expecting to negotiate what you, yourself and your company can offer, Count. Not the Dominion."

She paused, biting her lip in thought before continuing. "The Boolon Foundation is a neutral group, if I accept donations from powers such as the Dominion, I run the risk of it not remaining so. I will, of course accept the offer of location within the Dominions boundaries, but they will not be under my jurisdiction. The idea behind giving land to refugees is that you intend to integrate them into your own society, not exclude them. There will, however, if you allow it, be a sanctuary erected within these lands, call it a temple if you will and that, will absolutely have to be under my jurisdiction. The soldiers, and the monetary contribution from the Dominion, I will have to refuse. I hope that doesn't cause too much distress."

"Now, as for the ships." Rosa grinned. "That I will accept, happily, and with great appreciation. and you can rest assured that it will be publicly known that Malvern Shipping and Trade is a sponsor of ours." she smiled again. "I assume you will need to adjust the number of credits you are able to donate, fifty million might make you slightly bankrupt."

There was no love lost when Master Gunn informed that she could not accept the donations that were being gifted by The Dominion, of course he understood the reasoning and held no reason to argue with the woman. When it came to the subject of the credits the Count arched a brow before chuckling softly at his realization. "I'm afraid you do not understand, the contract I intended to draw up would levy a number of credits from our production each year. 50 million is well within our reaches, yet they will be distributed over the next ten years, not a bulk sum." He explained.

The Count gestured towards her with a curious gaze. "So I am curious, who else is supporting your foundation?" He questioned.

Just before she could answer there was a knock on the door which drew Adron's attention away from the matter at hand. He glanced to the door before calling out to the threshold. "Come in." He said.

Moments later the door opened to a duo of servants, wearing the garb of a waiter at a fine restaurant. "Tea, m'lord?" The man asked, raising a tray holding all of the necessities for a decent cup of tea.

"Yes, please, and a cup for Master Gunn as well." He gestured to her with a smile. "Now, where were we?" He asked.

Rosa's eyebrows rose in surprise, 50 million credits was a significant amount of money, spread over time or not. "Oh my." she spoke softly, before smiling. "That's incredibly generous of you, thank you."

She opned her mount to respond to his question as the tea arrived, a flash of pleasure ran through her. The tea would help settle her nerves a little and allow her to process what had just been laid in front of her. Already her mind was racing over what could be constructed with that money and how many people would benefit from it. She accepted her cup from the servants with a grateful smile, taking a quick sip before returning her attention to the Count.

"I believe you were asking about my supporters. I'm in talks with Firemane Industries, Torr Industries and IMF. I've confirmed a sponsorship from Andromeda Electronics," a small smile played on her lips at the thought of Kaili. "For the moment, that's it, not including yourself though. Commenor, The Metal Lords and the Pii system have all offered land for settlements to be built as well as a little backwater world called Kiara. The Silver Jedi have offered their support in developing them."

She took another sip of her tea, contentment spreading through her. "All in all, the response has been incredible. It's a comfort to know that there are at least some in the galaxy that want to make a difference without reaching for the nearest weapon."

She ste the cup down on the desk in front of her, "I have to confess, I've been a little out of he loop for some time. Could you tell me more about the Dominion?"

As the tea was set out for the duo the Count could not help but offer up a warm smile. He took his own cup into his hands, inhaling the spicy aroma that drifted from the beverage. It was not until Master Gunn spoke once more that he took a measured sip of the warm drink. After allowing a moment for the taste to subside he gestured towards a banner that hung in the side of his study, a banner branded with The Dominion's standard.

"The Dominion, in essence, is a horrid mistake. A bad idea brought to action through misguided hearts and swift minds." He stated, feeling no need to sugar coat the truth about his government.

"And among all things it is obsolete, a decent solution for a short term problem. However, it stands to have no place in the future." He admits, taking another short sip of his drink. "After the battle on Atrisia, where thousands of innocent lives were taken based on the whim of the Galactic Alliance, it was decided by the survivors and associates of those affected that a new government was needed. One that acted on the best interest of the people it protected, well The Dominion was the result of that prospect. Whether it became what it was intended to be or not....debatable. But never the less it formed to protect it's borders and the borders of it's people. However it took fanatical turns that were detrimental to the true cause and was frowned upon because of these turns."

"The Archlord, my predecessor, was given more authority then he should have been. His people viewed him as a god in human form, a shocking idea really. Anyway the Archlord disappeared not long after a long series of skirmishes on our borders. The result was the people elected the politician they trusted most to take the title of Archlord, me." He explained.

"But I've no intent on keeping such a simple mindset as my predecessor, the late Lord Grayson." He said, taking another quick sip from his cup.

"No, I intend to reform this government into a Republic where every man, woman, and alien holds worth and meaning." The Count finished.

Rosa blinked, taking a long sip of her tea and using it as an opportunity to collect herself. That was not at all what she had expected. Normally when people are asked about their governments, they laid it on thick, glossing over the dirty spots and making it sound like it was the best place in the galaxy. Malvern was not afraid to share his governments previous mistakes, he outlined them and made a point of showing he was prepared to learn from them and build a better future. She had to admire him for that. Such honesty was commendable in a career so often fraught with lies and deceit.

"Well," she said finally "with the people behind you, I dont see any reason why you shouldn't succeed. A word of advice though, if you'll take it. Don't let the past overshadow the future. What the Dominion was doesn't matter in relation to what it could be."
