A conversation between light and dark

DQqWGH.jpg

Tul-Mar walked down the corridors of the Royal Palace to his office. He just had a meeting with the Queen. The times were prosperos for Naboo, and nothing seemed that Naboo would be confronted with the unrest that prevailed elsewhere in the galaxy on short terms. His pace was calm, and hekindly greeted several passers-by. For a moment he was stopped and approached by an official who had to know a few things about the state of affairs of the historical libraries. After a short conversation, Tul-Mar continued his way, and arrived at his office not much later. Once inside, he laid his papers on the desk and was greeted by a number of beeps and bleeps from Syxtus.

"Tweeet Badeep Brrrrp."

Tul-Mar smiled at his little friend and leaned against the desk for a moment.

Oh, not that much special. The usual I would say.

The little droid made a soft beep and turned around to go back to his loading dock. Tul-Mar took off his cloak and threw it over his chair, after which he poured himself a glass of water. After a few sips he sat down on the floor in front of his desk and closed his eyes. It didn't take long for him to get control over his breathing and mind. Meditation had become his way of life after work. It made him relax and put things into perspective.
After a while his thoughts were disturbed. He felt a presence which he had not felt for more than a year now. A presence that was dominated by anger and grief surrounded by what felt like cold air.
Without opening his eyes he called for the presence in the room.

I can feel you are here. Show yourself.

Although Tul-Mar was calm, his hand still reached involuntarily towards his lightsaber without grabbing it.

"We shall have it all. The Jedi will extinct."

The whispering voice sounded near. Tul-Mar opened his eyes swiftly and looked across the room while he stood up slowly, still ready to draw his lightsaber. With careful steps he walk across the room, looking for the source of the voice he had just heard but he could not find anything or anyone. The feeling of the cold and angry presence eventually disappeared.

Now this is odd. He scratched his head and looked towards the door that was closed.
The voice he had just heard had sounded all too familiar. It was the voice of a Sith Lord he had fought and killed a little more than a year ago now before he had come back to Naboo. A Sith Lord who was once a Jedi himself who Tul-Mar knew very well. It had been one of the very rare occasions Tul-Mar had killed someone.

Very odd indeed. He was wondering if the Sith had found a way to become one with Force as some of the Jedi had. After all, his former Master had, and had spoken with him on several occasions from the Netherworld.
While thinking about what just happened, Tul-Mar walked up and down his office.

Strangely enough, after one dark side presence had all but vanished, another seemed to approach.

Something felt quite different about this presence however - it was much less 'pure' in darkside energy. It almost felt as if a few drops of lightside energy may be present as well.

Not much time would be allowed to reflect upon this, however, as this presence was anything but subtle. Stopping outside of the Jedi's door, the feelings of anger, betrayal and distrust seemed to fume around the presence.

The door would suddenly emit a violent crunch sound as a force wave that was nothing short of impressive would literally tear the door apart destructively. It may be more impressive still to see who wielded such power - a small child standing on the other side of the now-torn door, rage burning in his eyes.

The child was a small boy, a Trianii child of no more than 10 or 11 years old presumably. One might stare in disbelief that this small child was able to muster the amount of power required to tear such a door clean open

"Where is he, Jedi?! Where is my brother?!"

The little boy's words were accusational and held hints of worry and fear. This boy was almost dripping with darkside energy, though strangely enough some light side energy could be felt in him as well.

In his hand he clutched a lightsaber. With one click, the luminescent blade would extend, glowing dimly in a soft blue light. Strangely enough, it was a Jedi lightsaber this small darkside child held. Tok seemed quite convinved that this Jedi knew who here had taken his brother away

"Tell me now Jedi or so help you..."
