Private A Dark Reunion on a Broken World

Location: Woostri

Equipment: Lightsaber | Sith Armour

Repairs were underway.

Woostri was slowly being rebuilt back into the world it was before the Sith came. Everything was going as planned, everything was on schedule. Materials were being flown in and debris was being flown off world constantly. It was impressive at how quickly things could be put back to normal.

The data centre remained a challenge. Whilst a lot of the external structure had been rebuilt, the internals remained water damage and destroyed. The Galactic Alliance had attempted to stop the Sith getting access to the data and it had almost worked. Unfortunately, the Force had other plans and the Sith were very close to rebuilding the information which had been lost.

Darth Latens hoped that the information would be rebuilt sooner rather than later. He'd promised access to three very powerful people. Darth Fury Darth Fury , Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis and Reicher Vax Reicher Vax had all been promised access to the data in return for supporting his governership vote. A vote that he was aware was currently ongoing.

It would pass, he had no concerns around that.

One of the biggest tasks lay not in rebuilding but in construction. Latens was not unlike other Sith, he wished for a fort of his own and Woostri would host one that matched his exact specification. He'd picked out the perfect location, at the top of a large cliff overlooking the oceans of Woostri. He'd even drawn the designs himself.

Many of the outer walls were erected, with the interior well underway. Soon, he would have his own throne room which again matched his exact specification. He was extremely proud of the work that was ongoing, and with plans to bring Trayze Tesar Trayze Tesar into the fold he believed that Woostri would soon be under his full control.

So far, there had only been a few minor uprisings from the Woostrian people. Many of them had been from the underwater cities, annoyingly. All of which had been crushed with ease, of course. The young Sith Knight had no intentions of allowing his rule over the watery world of Woostri to be toppled by minor civil unrest. The only thing liable of toppling it was if the vote failed.

But there was no doubt.

It would pass.

Latens watched as the shuttle approached his location, a shuttle which contained a Force signature extremely familar to the young boy. His Master had opted to return to Woostri, the planet in which both of them had been through hell. It would be the first time since Woostri they hadn't had an audience.

Removing his helm, Latens watched as the shuttle touched down.

He had hoped that it would be some time indeed before he would have to return to Woostri after the aftermath of the invasion which had the Sith successfully conquer the world. Truly, he had hoped he would never have to return to the world, it was not the oceanic depths that concerned him, Bogan knew, he had spent too much time in the wonder of those large bodies of water that he had read about to truly be afraid of them, but instead, it had been...

...What had occurred down in the underwater base, that which had almost had him...

...Had him something, the memories had not yet fully returned, that might have been the most concerning detail of the experience, all that which he could remember was the burning... the burning without flame, the fire without smoke, remembering Jedha... when he had his memories...

It could not be helped now, armoured black boots stood solitary as the shuttle began its descent down upon Woostri. It had been an odd choice, it would not have been his choice. but when he had knighted Zachariah, it had been with the trust to make his own choices, of course, it was still one-to-one on the odds of if it had worked out well for him between his two prior apprentices, but... Zachariah had not yet disappointed him.

Though Malum had raised an eyebrow when he had found that the bill he had given his assent to had Braxus' name as a co-signer, once he might have questioned, now, as his own bill seemed destined to go down on defeat in the floor, he could not help but see the wisdom in it. At the same time, he supposed it mattered little and little else, he had shown them all that one man could stand against the rest of the Empire.

That would do for now.

Malum stood firm atop his feet, as the shuttle made its landing, its landing gears having long whirred as they deployed, touching down onto concreted grounds, as the air rushed in, as the hanger bay doors opened.

Stepping out of the ship, a masked face, masked with the face of his most famous and great ancestor, decked head to toe in black plate and steel, encrusted in ruby, tall, dignified, the dark knight of the Sith Empire. Ahead of him, was a familiar face, one which drew a softness to his eyes, one that had a sly smile shimmer upon his face.

"Darth Latens, Governor of Woostri, certainly has a nice ring to it, does it not?" Malum intoned beneath the mask, the smile twinging his voice.
