A Date. Sort of... (Salvor Arnex)

Keturah led the way through the bust streets of Eclipstica's capital city, towing [member="Salvor Arnex"] along by his hand. She was smiling widely with a bounce in her step. She was always happier when the gold-skinned Zabrak was with her, bit today was different. Today, they were going on a date!
After a bit of lunch they were making their way for the Thoraya Concert Hall. Classical music was an odd choice for an almost 16-year-old girl, But Keturah loved the Thoraya Orchestra and Choir.
She glanced back at Salvor, her amber-gold eyes gleaming.
"This is supposed to be one of their most beautiful performances of the year. I can't wait to hear it!"

Salvor allowed himself to lead by the had through the streets of Eclipstica. He was being lead toward the concert hall by [member="Keturah Sin"], his closest and most cherished friend. She pulled him along, softly but with purpose. He could tell she was excited for their night out, so was he. It had been so long since he had spent time with just her, away from the mechanisms of the dynasty, away from the thought of war. Tonight there would be no strategizing, no bleeding, no pain, just Keturah and that thought warmed his heart.

As they walked, the pair of them garnered a bit of attention. Whispers and prolonged stares followed them through the street. It was not every day, the common people of Eclipstica saw a member of the royal family amongst them. Keturah was princess and ruler to these people, the adopted daughter of their king [member="Romeo Sin"] and potential heir to her father’s throne.

Salvor himself was not of ordinary stock either. The gold-skinned Zabrak, was Warden of the Shadow Dynasty. A ruler to himself with only the king Romeo Sin above him in the hierarchy. He was tall and well muscled, built for combat and trained for no other purpose. His role in the dynasty was well known, even amongst the common people here. He served as justicar, handing out the king’s justice where ever necessary. What a sight they must make, two of the dynasty’s most powerful young people walking hand in hand, fingers laced down the street.

She turned back to him for just a moment to express her excitement about their upcoming evening. He looked into her brilliant amber eyes and simply smiled back at her. He still wasn’t great with words.

Finally, they were standing in front of the their destination. It was a massive building with lots of people (mainly consisting of adults). When the two walked toward the line, the ticket-taker noticed them.
With a wide grin, he ushered them past the line of waiting grown-ups. "We are so happy to have the both of you in attendance today, Princess Sin and Warden Arnex! We're amazed that royalty like yourselves would even consider Thoraya Hall. We're glad to know that we have something of interest to you!"
The ticket-taker signaled two of the ushers, who then led Keturah and Salvor up to a private box. Inside, there was a small table filled with refreshments and a balcony where their seats were located. The ushers explained that these were the best seats in the house, and that the acoustics were best heard where they were going to sit.
Keturah thanked them again and again, tipping them before they finally left the box. It was just her and Salvor now.
"Wow! I didn't think we'd be this important! Just look at the view we have!"
She walked up to the balcony, looking down at the stage.

“You forgot you’re a princess?” he asked laughing softly. He was not laughing at her so much as laughing about how someone could just forget they were amongst the three or four most important people on the planet.

He walked over and stood next to her looking out over the balcony. “Lovely view” he said not looking at the stage any longer but looking at Keturah now.

She could feel his eyes on her. She looked down to her hands on the balcony wall, a blush crawling across her smile. Salvor had never actually been so open with a comment like that before. At least, not in a very long time. Keturah was happy to hear it again.
She looked back up as the lights blinked above them. The show was about to begin. She turned and quickly sat down in her seat, motioning for him to sit, too.

Salvor took a seat next to Keturah and waited for their show to start. From what he had heard, this was a performance worth seeing and on their last night before left for the next stop on their interstellar tour.

With a bit of a warm-up from the choir and the orchestra, the first song began:

Keturah closed her eyes, smiling and listening to the beautiful melody. When it ended, she clapped and glanced to Salvor.

At the end of the song, Salvor clapped politely along with the rest of the audience. The orchestra was clearly good. He wasn’t blown away but they were by no means bad. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Keturah spare a glance over at him.

“They were very good, weren’t they?” he said leaning over to her

"It was very beautiful. But they always make each song better than the last until they reach the very end, which is when they go for the tear-jerking best. That's what makes them so famous."
Keturah leaned in, too. their foreheads were close to touching at this point, with their hands brushing against the other's.
For the next song, the choir took a short break, allowing the orchestra to work it's magic.
She found herself staring at Salvor even after the applause died down and the next song began.

He stayed looking at Keturah for a moment after the orchestra started playing the next song but only for a moment as he found his attention drawn to music. He could not help but stare in amazement at their precision and skill. He reached out with his sense and was surprised to feel that none of the orchestra were force sensitive. That seemed impossible, that one could make such beautiful music but not have been touched by divinity. He reached out and grabbed Keturah’s hand completely unaware that he had done so.

Keturah turned her attention to the orchestra as well. They were so good at captivating the audience! She hardly noticed that Salvor was holding her hand until the music was reaching it's end. Instead of pointing it out or making it obvious, she just pretended as if everything was perfectly normal.
The crowd applauded again, but she didn't join in. She just let her hand continue to be held for as long as Salvor would allow it.
The choir came back for the next song.

He did not join in with the other’s clapping or did he notice that Keturah did not either. He just sat and enjoyed the music, holding Keturah’s hand comfortable with all things.

Keturah leaned to the side so that she could whisper to Salvor.
"You've never really told me about what you like to do. Next time, it's your turn to pick where we go, after all..."

“I like to hunt. To track and kill. I like to train. To push myself past all limits. These are not things you would enjoy I’m afraid.” Salvor had very few personal hobbies. Growing up it had been all training and hunting nothing more. “Besides. I’m happy right here with you.”

"Are you sure? I could try hunting with you, if you wanted. I've been wanting to work on my rifle skills."
Keturah had never killed anything directly before. Thinking about gunning down an animal made her a bit uneasy. The blood, the light leaving it's eyes... She blinked a few times, shaking it off. If Salvor liked to hunt, then they could hunt together. It wasn't fair to make him do all the things she liked to do and never do what he wanted to do. Besides, with him around, it wouldn't be so bad. It might actually be fun. Right?

“we will go some time then. There are things here on Eclipstica that could be fun. And I’m sure you need less work than you give yourself credit for.”

It could be fun to take Keturah out with him. He had planned for ages now to go out and kill something here.

“you let me know and I will take you.”

Keturah nodded eagerly, beaming. "Alright then. It's a date!"
She said this in a joking tone, though she only partly considered it to be one.
It was time once again for the orchestra to take center stage.
