Centin Tillo
“Hey.”
…
“Hey!”
…
“Hellooooo, are you even listening?” A small, thirteen year old Amani gently knocked the head of a sitting Centin, herself standing tall, resting her hands confidently on her hips. “My Master Juno said that you threw a chair in her telekinesis class! And it wasn’t by using the Force!” She chastised her peer in a high-pitched voice. Ever since getting a mentor of her own, the newly-anointed padawan rarely missed an opportunity to mention her. “She told me my first job as her padawan was to help you figure out telekinesis, so that’s what I’m gonna do!”
A small rock lifted from the ground, floating around the girl as she effortlessly manipulated it, sending it this way and that, dancing around her before it once more dropped lifeless into the grass. “It’s not thaaaat hard. Master Juno says that I’m really good at it.” Amani shrugged, before lifting the rock again, playing with it idly and eventually dropping it closer in front of her fellow padawan. “She also says I’m really good at talking a lot.” A smug grin drew across her face when she looked back at Centin.
“Okay, now you try it!” She gestured at the rock, offering no further advice on the subject.
