Jas didn't really expect much of an answer when he made that stupid account, let alone a response from the one person he least expected it. That same merc he and the other troopers worked with on Corellia. Luckily it meant that he didn't have to dress up for something proper... not that he would have, anyway. Simple black pants, sweater and an overcoat he grew increasingly attached to.

He chose a pretty decent place to own up to this open bet. Not too expensive, but not a fast food joint either. If anything, he was going above and beyond for this bloodsucking mercenary. On the flipside, if she was going to use him for easy money, the least he could do was enjoy himself in his humiliation.

"I almost thought you wouldn't show up." He quipped as he stood outside the restaurant with a cigarette between his lips, watching her approach. There was likely an argument to be made about fraternization and taking a "colleague" out for dinner... but they were hardly colleagues. And this was hardly a date. He needed to shoot the person who started this stupid bet.

Flicking his cigarette away, the Pureblood adjusted his coat and led the way into the restaurant, where a booked table was waiting for them. "As far as easy paydays go, is this ranking pretty high so far?" He quipped with a smirk as he sat down and adjusted his seat.

Contrary to Jas, the vampiric woman did indeed at least dress up somewhat for this... Sure, she was here for the credits and food, but why not sport a new outfit? High fashion and luxury were not things that Jackal was well acquainted with, her main home was on Nal Hutta after all.

The only real makeup adorned on her was the same tear marks as she always wore, yet this time she had some black lipstick to pair with it.

"I almost thought you wouldn't show up."

"And miss out on easy credits and free food? If you think about it, any credits you end up spending on the food you will just get back.. Plus some more, personally I think your buddies could have made a harder bet not gonna lie."

Jackal didn't seem to mind that he didn't wear any higher-class attire, not like she herself was some uptight princess.

"Of course of course! Can't say I have ever had anyone take me to a place like this, only places of this kind on Nal Hutta are mostly filled with spice dealers and hookers. I would be lying though if I said this wasn't a nice little escape, is there a reason you picked this place?"

Classical Jackal, having nothing in the way of social etiquette, many eyes glance over at the strange-looking woman as she went on about hookers and spice. As they both were seated, she rests her elbows on the table, cupping both sides of her pale face in her hands. Yet another sign that Jackal had no table manners either, yet she didn't give a chit. Deciding to be a tad playful, she starts lightly kicking Jas from under the table.

"Come onnn nowww, chin up meathead! What all are you going to order eh?"

ozWnxuSBkUZjXqMcKzN69jemKiBtEhD88XCHaz9mXAofin9PWghb--7-pMm7FFVF3Ak8apijTrRcXLhrlyVxFNQHU19Xt7K0n2raMhpT85W7iYGgL8mklF5EdOIYZnEGBiteqlTjFPX9Fyd6uO45KLyWT3HBRt92XtYnv_L0Q_UbmLrr07jwF36CQg

Jas couldn't help but chuckle at the woman's words as they made their way to their table. "Depends on how much you spend. So please try to not blow every last credit." He quipped casually. "But no, my 'buddies' actually made a good call. They simply didn't expect a sponge to fall out of the woodwork for free food." He continued as he flashed a toothy grin.

Jas quickly realised that he at least wasn't going to have a boring night as Jackal spoke. Between the comments and the jokes, she was doing a magnificent job at keeping an awkward silence at bay. He wasn't really a fast talker.

Her rather colourful choice of words did a good job as well for extra entertainment. The amount of eyes on them was rather amusing.

His attention was drawn back to her as he felt her foot against his leg, earning a light jump from the Pureblood. "I'm more curious on what you are going to get. Blood of innocents isn't really an option in places like this." He remarked with a smirk as his foot nudged her right back. "Guess you're going to have to settle for something less bloody." He continued. He knew what she was.

Golden eyes studied the place around them for a moment as he pondered over her question. "I... don't really have a reason for choosing this place. Prices seemed good and it is at least somewhat of a respectable establishment. So no, you can't say I dragged you to a simple stand next to the road for this 'date'." His head tilted slightly for a moment.

"What do you mean with escape? Don't you have a means to spend your money after a contract finishes?" He continued with a more hushed tone. In terms of their work, he really didn't want to let the rest of the restaurant know.

When the waiter finally arrived, Jas ordered a steak dinner and a bottle of wine for them both, though he let her order her own meal. "Can you read the names on the menu?" He teased with a raised brow as he watched her.

The joke about being a sponge took Jackal a moment to get, she was at least a pretty sponge right?

"So did your buddies just try to embarrass you or something? Kinda funny, but hey you got me. Now you can make up weird as fuck stories to share with them! Now that would be pretty funny, you can tell em I ate a hobo or something."

It was clear that Jackal knew she was weird, caring very little if any about people thinking such. Why hide in a shell when you could embrace how you are?

"What do I use my credits on..? Well I can't say my name is really out there, so the credits I do get are spent on food, water, fuel... Ammo. All the normal things really, I was able to get this outfit thanks to an influx in jobs at the moment. Figured it looked alright..."

As the waiter arrived, Jackal takes the menu and starts to read through it, eventually being interrupted by Jas. She kicks him again, but a little harder this time. The table shakes thanks to their horseplay, the salt and pepper shakers falling over. Jackal contains her immature laughter as best she can while ordering, it only becoming harder to speak as the waiter eyed her with a raised brow.

"Y-Ya I would like- Ahem.. I would like a tomahawk steak, rare. The sides.. Hmm.. Roasted asparagus with cheese and garlic, and half grilled tomato.
"

She had her ways to still get some blood on her meal.

"Tsk, why ya gotta bully me, Jas? Do I gotta beat you up or something?"

Jackal flashes her fanged maw at him in a playful way, sticking her pierced tongue out at him soon after.

ozWnxuSBkUZjXqMcKzN69jemKiBtEhD88XCHaz9mXAofin9PWghb--7-pMm7FFVF3Ak8apijTrRcXLhrlyVxFNQHU19Xt7K0n2raMhpT85W7iYGgL8mklF5EdOIYZnEGBiteqlTjFPX9Fyd6uO45KLyWT3HBRt92XtYnv_L0Q_UbmLrr07jwF36CQg

A light chuckle escaped the Pureblood as he glanced off for a moment. "As tempting as the idea is, I can't go too overboard. They might stop taking me seriously. But yes, that is exactly what they tried to do. I think it is fair to say that they succeeded." He commented as his golden eyes shifted back to her.

She went on to comment on her financial situation, though something stuck out to Jas as he listened. Was she worried about her appearance? It was likely just his imagination. A Sangnir merc hailing from Nal Hutta didn't really strike him as someone concerned about their appearance or behaviour. She wasn't exactly raised in a proud warrior culture. Luckily the surprisingly fun conversation moved on with another kick underneath the table.

He watched with amusement as she ordered her meal, luckily not too extravagant, before she turned her attention back to him. He idly set the shakers back on their original spots as he eyed her with a smug look. "Well, you already can't keep your distance from me, probably not too much of a stretch to think you wouldn't mind a taste." He nonchalantly remarked as he sat back and crossed his arms over his broad chest.

The worried and shocked looks around them soon drew his attention. "I'm starting to think you are scaring the other customers." He quipped as he looked around them for a moment. "Simple souls, really..." He looked back at her for a moment. "Can your kind eat garlic? The film I saw the other day seemed to suggest that it is highly toxic." He remarked with as serious a tone as he could muster, though the grin did a fine job of ruining his serious look.

There were probably more fitting things to talk about -at least as far as their professions were concerned- but the back and forth they had going on was turning out to be quite fun.

"They succeeded? So you are embarrassed then? It is hard to tell because you are already red anyway, what is there to be embarrassed about huh? Never took a girl on a date? You kissless virgin!"

You could tell with ease that Jackal was just being playful, all in good fun.

"Eh if they don't take you seriously you just have to show them why they should, just pin em down and keep them in a strong grip."

As her elbows go back on the table, she once again rests her pale face on her hands, cheeks squished up kind of like a chipmunk.

"Oh? You assuming things about me now huh? Well, I don't think you could handle it anyway, I bet you are the type of guy that cries over getting blood drawn at the doctor anyway."

Jackal pokes her tongue at him yet again.

"I scare everyone, part of the job really. Besides, even if I try not to be off putting... My eyes always do the trick."

ZiBfHIx.gif

Jackal focuses her inhuman eyes right into his, they seemed to have a sort of pull to them as Jas would find it hard to look away the more he gazed, his mind and body started to feel a little numb as if he was relaxing in warm waters. The pale woman obviously had more tricks other then strength and speed, this one seemed to be a mind trick that wasn't even a force ability.

This trance breaks and Jas would snap out of it once Jackal unfocused her eyes, letting go of whatever trick she was pulling on him.

As he would snap back to reality, the waiter had returned with their wine.

Jackal gives them a simple nod as they walked off, she pours some of the drink in Jas' cup before pouring some within her own cup.

ozWnxuSBkUZjXqMcKzN69jemKiBtEhD88XCHaz9mXAofin9PWghb--7-pMm7FFVF3Ak8apijTrRcXLhrlyVxFNQHU19Xt7K0n2raMhpT85W7iYGgL8mklF5EdOIYZnEGBiteqlTjFPX9Fyd6uO45KLyWT3HBRt92XtYnv_L0Q_UbmLrr07jwF36CQg

Jas had been quite composed and reserved throughout their little chat, despite the teasing and joking. That all fell apart as she laid into him. His cheeks turned a deeper shade of red as he looked away for a moment, clearing his throat. "I'll have you know that is hardly the case. The women I'm used to tend to be a little... different." He tried to defend himself. It was rather difficult to explain the differences between Purebloods and other cultures.

Not that he had much of an argument given his last relationship.

Jackal didn't let up for even a moment, but before he could even utter a word to keep up the verbal sparring, he felt like he was leaving reality behind for a moment as he gazed into her eyes. He didn't even realize what was happening until the bottle of wine was suddenly placed in front of them.

The Pureblood cleared his throat as a frown set in, and almost immediately the Force wrapped around Jackal's throat just enough to let her know what was happening. "You should be careful when you play with fire." He muttered with a hint of an animalistic growl as his golden eyes glared at her. What changed it from a threat to a daring challenge, however, was the toothy grin creeping through.

The grasp around her throat dissipated as he picked up his glass and took a long sip... hardly with any table etiquette. At least his present company would likely not judge. "Luckily you are hardly off-putting so far." He remarked as he sat back, clutching the glass in one hand. "I imagine we both would be a lot less entertained if we were somewhere else right now. You get a free meal and I get to spare some poor hobo's life so far." An old lady sitting across from them looked absolutely mortified as she listened in on the conversation.

"Well 'Scary Eyes', there's your chance." He nodded to the woman who quickly looked away to focus on her meal.

A smug grin forms on her face as she spots the blush on the man, it seems like she was winning... Sometimes it was too easy.

"Less exciting more like it, now you are blushing up a storm! I have hardly done anything as well, that is the best part."

Jackal was about to go for a sip of her drink.. Yet it seemed this wasn't as easy as she thought, her eyes broadening as she felt a forced grip around her pale neck. Try as she might, nothing broke out of the invisible hold. The last thing Jackal expected was that Jas was a wizard, his tone and growl would cause the Sangir to let out one of her own, seeming to face the challenge head-on.

As the grip lets go, she feels at her neck.

"Wizard... Can't say I expected that, and I will have you know I love playing with fire."

She clears her throat, raising a brow at him as he spoke.

"I am hardly offputting? Mm, a lie but I will take what I can get eh? And what do you mean by if we were somewhere else right now?"

Jackal hardly pays any attention to the glares of the old lady, keeping to herself as she took a drink of the wine finally.

Jackal seemed taken back by Jas' action, a surprise for the Pureblood as he watched her. "You have not encountered many Sith before, have you?" He asked with a hushed voice, not wanting to draw much attention to their table. At least getting thrown out for questionable behaviour was better than being hunted down as Sith.

"Oh come now, it's hardly a lie. As far as 'dates' go this is turning out to be rather enjoyable... aside from the motives behind it." He quipped, choosing to ignore her question. He didn't need to give her more ammunition to use against him.

"Excuse me..." A voice spoke up beside them. Another waiter stood with hus hands behind his back as he looked at the two. "I'm afraid that I am going to have to ask you to leave the establishment." He continued with a calm voice. He clearly didn't want to cause a scene.

Jas frowned at the request and slowly rose from the table. The once calm and collected waiter soon became rather nervous as the Pureblood towered over him. "Now why would I do that?" He asked with a piercing glare. The waiter glanced at Jackal then back to Jas as he took a breath. "Unfortunately, your... present company... is making our other clients feel uncomfortable." He explained as he gestured to the people around them.

Jas looked at Jackal for a moment then back to the waiter. "You can tell them that my present company has nothing to do with them and they should mind their own business." He practically growled as he sat back down and returned his attention to Jackal. "Like I said... simple souls." He muttered.

"I imagine they are not going to leave us alone." He continued as he downed his wine in one gulp and poured a second glass for the two of them.

"Oh I have... Just didn't expect you to be able to do that, not only did it catch me off-guard, but normally I am the one doing the choking."

Jackal chuckles a bit, taking a mental note that she needed someway to tell if a person had the force or not.

"What if I am here for more than just credits? Is it too far of a stretch to say I don't always wish to sit in a swamp?"

She faintly smiles a bit, poking at the table with her fork. In truth, Jackal did like to get away from Nal Hutta from time to time, and at least Jas here didn't look like anything on Nal Hutta.

Her eyes flick over to the waiter as spoke to the both of them.

"Huh?"

They then explained further, Jackal, being used to this by now, gets up with a sigh. No use making a scene, even more so since she didn't have her guns... Should have thought about that.

Yet she pauses as Jas stands up to confront the man, raising a brow as her crimson eyes watched the two intently. This was the first time anyone had bothered to fight back for her, and seeing as the waiter backed off rather quickly thanks to Jas' stature, Jackal decides to just take her seat again.

"I imagine they are not going to leave us alone."

"They never do, I am rather used to it by now... You didn't have to do that, I would imagine they will just tell us to leave again."

ozWnxuSBkUZjXqMcKzN69jemKiBtEhD88XCHaz9mXAofin9PWghb--7-pMm7FFVF3Ak8apijTrRcXLhrlyVxFNQHU19Xt7K0n2raMhpT85W7iYGgL8mklF5EdOIYZnEGBiteqlTjFPX9Fyd6uO45KLyWT3HBRt92XtYnv_L0Q_UbmLrr07jwF36CQg

Jas couldn't help but chuckle at her remarks. This was turning out to be a lot more pleasant than he initially anticipated. It still felt like she was simply playing him, but he was going to own up to his bet and enjoy the moment while he could.

Those concerns, however, were pushed aside with the waiter. As Jas sat down again, Jackal commented on the altercation. "I didn't have to... but that wouldn't sit right with me. Besides, the least I can do is help you enjoy your night out." He quipped with a grin as his gaze shifted from her to the waiter talking to who he suspected was the manager. The smile disappeared as his golden eyes glared at the people. "Let us leave. Either they will call the authorities or it will simply become unpleasant." He rose from his seat and extended a hand to assist her before making his way to the door.

But not before subtly flicking his fingers to pull the waiter's legs out from under him, making it look like a simple accident.

Outside the restaurant, the rain was starting to roll in overhead. "Come on, my speeder is over here." He offered as he led the way and started up the machine. An awkward silence lingered from the Pureblood as he flew them away from the restaurant. "Well, that was rather disappointing." He glanced at her for a moment. "I would offer to go back and show them what happens when they disrespect people like us like that... but I don't want a lecture from my boss tomorrow."

He was silent for a moment as he thought about what else they could do. He had nothing. "So... any place you wish to go? There's bound to be other restaurants or something similar." He offered her. A smile formed as he flew through the skylane. "There's also plenty of meat at my place, though that would likely be rather inappropriate." He added with a chuckle.

She stands as well, following the man as they left the building. Jackal almost laughs as the waiter is tripped, she herself gives the whole place the bird as they walked out.

As the rain started to pick up, it ends up soaking Jackal's brand new dress. Her crimson eyes gaze down in disappointment as yet another thing had been taken, a hidden anger only visible for mere fraction of a second as the pale woman grit her teeth.

Try as she might, one who could understand hidden messages or faint changes in expression could tell that Jackal was in a bit of a sour mood at the moment thanks to all that had happened.

Silently she follows Jas, hopping on the back of the speeder. A simple sigh comes from her as Jas commented on the situation.

"Disappointing is one way to put it, I would also offer to go back there as well... Bastards took my food! Least they could do is become my food then, galaxy loses one bozo and I get a meal... A win-win is it not?"

He then offers to take her other places, including the need to make a crude joke that would normally upset most people, and Jackal was not like most people.

"Oh? I don't think you would want me to eat that, might make you cry and such."

Jackal places her back against his, gazing around at all the shining lights that flashed by, she crosses her legs and arms.

"This is the first time I have ever been on this planet, sooo I have no idea what to do. I mean, I am pretty sure I know what you want to do though."

She cackles, pressing her head against his back. Rain splashed against her face as they kept speeding along, Jackal lets out a playful sigh.

"Unless I was wrong and you really were offering a meal at your place, we can go with that one right? Otherwise you might blush again and not look all manly again!"

ozWnxuSBkUZjXqMcKzN69jemKiBtEhD88XCHaz9mXAofin9PWghb--7-pMm7FFVF3Ak8apijTrRcXLhrlyVxFNQHU19Xt7K0n2raMhpT85W7iYGgL8mklF5EdOIYZnEGBiteqlTjFPX9Fyd6uO45KLyWT3HBRt92XtYnv_L0Q_UbmLrr07jwF36CQg

The more time he spent with Jackal, the more he noticed. He didn't expect someone like her to lighten up this much, or to fell this much emotion over something like getting thrown out of an establishment. Not this... subtly. But her mannerisms were helping the Pureblood to lighten up as well. An odd sense of normalcy. Getting onto the speeder merely served to sour the mood a little more as the rain came down.

"Disappointing is one way to put it, I would also offer to go back there as well... Bastards took my food! Least they could do is become my food then, galaxy loses one bozo and I get a meal... A win-win is it not?"

Jas smirked at the remark as he spared a glance over his shoulder. "Oh don't worry. The night's still young. We might be able to get our revenge in a few hours. I don't know about you, but I don't take kindly to humiliation like that." He remarked. While the speeder bike's windshield helped to break the rain somewhat, they were both getting showered as he drove.

"This is the first time I have ever been on this planet, sooo I have no idea what to do. I mean, I am pretty sure I know what you want to do though."

"Unless I was wrong and you really were offering a meal at your place, we can go with that one right? Otherwise you might blush again and not look all manly again!"

A laugh escaped the Pureblood. A proper, humorous laugh. Unrestricted. "Well, I am genuinely hungry. You should get your head out of the gutter, Jackal, I think it's starting to rot a bit too much." He joked as he took a turn and began to slow down in front of a rather luxurious apartment complex. The speeder was parked in the underground parking and Jas disembarked with a smirk. "Although, I think you wouldn't mind both options either. You certainly can't seem to keep your eyes off me." He quipped as he stepped forward, towering over her as he looked down with piercing eyes and a daring grin.

"Come on." He finally said as he placed a hand on her back and led the way to the turbolift. "I have clothing for you if you want to take a shower. No need to let a good dress be ruined." He offered, although he immediately regretted it as he realized the ammunition he gave her.

Upon entering his rather luxurious apartment, the Pureblood smiled as a massive loth-cat sat up on his kitchen island. "Naga, what did you destroy this time?" He muttered as he picked the cat up. "This is Naga." He spoke as he held the cat out to Jackal.

"Ohohohoho! Revenge you say? I have all sorts of things on my ship that can do that, with ease I could set up a bomb I think... Ahem, unless that isn't the type of revenge you were talking about."

Leave it to Jackal to jump from zero straight to one hundred, what can she say, she loves explosions!

"Ya.. I am hungry as well, and what do you mean my head is starting to rot! I will have you know that I will never rot, kinda still odd to me... My clock is frozen in a way."

Jackal snickers as she hops down off the speeder, an impish smile forming in response to what else Jas had said as the man gazed down at her. The pale woman raises a hand, carefully gliding a dark claw across his flesh, starting from the jugular then slowly moving up to his chin.

"Assuming you can handle such that is, I can't say I would mind though."

She then is moved along as he guided her to the lift, Jackal raises a brow.

"What do you mean by you have clothing I can wear? And I knew you like the dress! Hmm.. Sure, thanks to the rain I should shower."

As the duo entered the place, Jackal was actually stunned a bit... This was a far cry from her home that is for sure, perhaps this kind of place would be a goal? Her day dreaming would soon come to and end though as she spotted the rotund cat... As the biggin was held out to her, Jackal at first only puts out her pale hand so that they can sniff her, then she moves onto the good stuff, giving Naga scritches under their chin gently using her claws.

"I have always thought about getting a pet, it would help it not feel so silent at my home... But for one I am never home too often, two, my home is a mess of tech scraps... I think I put out fires at least once a week? I wouldn't want my pet to get eaten by anything on Nal Hutta either, the swamps are a lot more dangerous than people think."

"Of course I like the dress. I just didn't say anything because it felt like an odd remark given the circumstances. But it does work well." He immediately countered with a smile. "As for clothing... it won't fit you well. My shirts are probably big enough for you to wear as a dress. But at least it's dry." He continued as he glanced down at her.

In his apartment, Naga purred loudly at the attention showered over him. Once Jackal had enough, Jas set the cat back on the counter with a lingering gaze. "I wanted to purchase a proper Sith hound, but the complex does now allow big creatures. So I settled on getting him." He explained calmly as a hand reached out to pet the cat some more. "He can be a bloody devil at times, though." He chuckled.

However, a concerned look graced the Pureblood's features at the mention of fires. "Your house catches fire at least once a week?" He repeated with a raised brow. "I would highly suggest you look into that." He gave her a gentle tap against the shoulder as he led the way. "Feel free to use this shower." He offered as he led her to the master bedroom and pointed to the refresher. "I'll set the clothes on the bed for you." He continued as he opened the closet to pull out a pair of shorts and a shirt for her along with a fresh towel. A second set of clothes followed as he ushered her into the refresher, buying himself some time to get into dryer clothes as well.

"Why would it be odd to say you like the dress? I got it with the intent of it being liked... Ohhh right, I keep forgetting this isn't supposed to be an actual date. But hey, to me it has been, even had drama and everything!"

She cackles a bit, jokes aside though this night had been decently nice so far... And the both of them were even gonna get paid for it!

"Sure, larger clothes are always comfy anyway. Normally I am nocturnal actually, I tend to eat at night and rest in the day... But then again my sleeping just tends to follow the time of whatever I am being paid for."

Jackal shrugs before listening in to what else Jas was saying.

"A Sith hound eh? Can't say I have seen one of those yet, but Naga here seems to fit you well. Plus, you seem to have some addiction to devils anyway."

She sticks her pierced tongue at him, a Jackal trademark for sure.

"Huh? Oh the fires? Those are caused by me actually, it just happens when you work with scraps to make things like I do. Sometimes I lose a finger in machinery, but it just grows back."

Her eyes study the master bedroom as she is brought there, the bed alone couldn't fit in her bedroom...

"Alrightttt I am going! No need to keep pushing me along, I get it I smell like wet dog!"

Jackal quickly snatches the things offered to her, shutting the door to the bathroom behind her. Everything looked so clean, and now she needed to learn how this shower worked.. It was very different to her tub, but after some time the water would turn on. The instant rush of cold water actually made Jackal squeak out in shock as it hit her flesh, in a panic she starts to adjust the other knobs.. Eventually balancing out the temperature so that it was warmer, eyes closed, her mind starts to space out a bit as the warm waters blanketed the Sangir in a feeling of comfort. Her now longer white hair allowed to hang freely as she undone the ponytail.

Her explanation of her incendiary situation did little to erase the worried look On Jas' face as he watched her. Though it did help to explain why Sangnir were usually so reckless. In some ways, it was a tempting idea to be turned, though the stubborn Pureblood would never willingly be changed. Pride in his heritage would always come first.

"Alrightttt I am going! No need to keep pushing me along, I get it I smell like wet dog!"

"You're stinking up my apartment, move it, hairball." He joked as he watched her enter the refresher. With the moment of privacy, Jas quickly slipped into some sweatpants and a shirt that emphasized his build. Pride usually drew vanity as well. With her in the shower, Jas got to work on a proper meal for the both of them. Likely not as neat as the restaurant's offers, but still a solid meal. He made sure to keep her steak rare for the blood. Her words had a degree of weight to them. If one took the money out of the equation, the evening had turned out to be a full blown date. He was even going the extra mile with the food to at least wrap the evening up in a neat package.

Although he neglected to warn her about the shower. Whether that was intentional or not was up for debate...

"Not bad for a 'barbaric Sith', huh?" He quipped as he glanced over to Naga... who was busy nibbling on one of the extra steaks. "J'us wirzûtiasi zonsota!" He scolded as he chased the loth-cat off, who let out a shriek as various utensils sailed past him. With the threat to their dinner taken care of, Jas passed the time by cleaning his pistol as he waited for the steaks and fries to cook.

Once she emerged, Jas flashed a grin as he studied her. "Shower wasn't too problematic, I hope?" He asked as he set the weapon aside and dished up their meals. "Wine isn't exactly a common choice for me, so I hope whiskey will suffice." He commented as he poured a glass for her and dropped some ice in.

"On the bright side, you can't say I'm not a gracious host. Of course, you can spend the night... if you promise not to suck every ounce of blood out of me." He remarked, the joke holding quite a bit of truth to it.

On the subject, if Jas did request to be turned... Jackal would do it with no questions asked, after all, she has already turned one person so far. The temptation of strength and that frozen eternal clock... It made anima a very alluring poison indeed.

Jackal steps out from the bedroom, bundled in the clothes she was allowed to borrow. She brushes her hair while taking in the smells of the food that Jas had made for the two.

"Not as problematic as whatever was going on in here, did you throw something?"

She laughs a bit while still brushing her soft looking hair, giving a glance over to the plates.

"Huh? Oh, sure I don't mind Whiskey. Just don't try to play a drinking game with me, trust me when I say you will get knocked out first... Anyway, dinner smells nice, thank you."

As Jas was pouring the drinks, his comment on not eating him made the woman giggle a bit as a claw traveled down his back in a teasing yet playful manner.

"Not even one little bite? Tsk, unless you are too scared. It is fun to play with fire ya know?"

Her claw had slowly went up his back before caressing the side of Jas' neck.

Jas laughed at her question as he glanced around the open plan kitchen and living room. Spoons, forks and other utensils littered the ground in a trail towards the cat's bed, where the creature was hiding from view. "Bloody cat was trying to carry off our food." He remarked with a snicker. At the mention of drinking games, Jas gave a nod. "Oh, I'm well aware. I made that mistake a while ago with another Sangnir. Ended disastrously." He admitted.

When her sharp nail travelled along his back and neck, however, the Pureblood paused with a daring grin. "And you know what happens when people play with fire, I trust?" He muttered as he leaned down, dangerously close to her as he dragged sharp nails gently down her cheek and neck. "Don't be surprised if I bite back, my dear." He continued as he glared at her, challenging her. He made sure to bolster his mental barriers, just in case she tried to hypnotize him again.

After a few moments, he gave her shirt a tug before passing her, making sure to give her a light nudge. "Food is ready." He remarked as he set the plates down and turned to face her.

"If that is even a concern right now?" He watched her carefully, gauging the mercenary's reaction.

A bit of pressure is applied as the nail almost had enough pressure to puncture into the flesh, Jackal was tempted for sure... But might as well focus on the food that was made for her right?

"Of course I know what could happen, but one could say I am a bit of a daredevil."

Jackal giggles a bit before gazing over to the cat's bed, she rolls her inhuman eyes before going over to pick up the mess that had been made, simply setting the previously thrown utensils in the sink.

"Depends, is it your concern right now?"

The vampiric woman snickers at the man before taking a slice out of the stake, the chunk of bloody meat is kept in her palm as Jackal kneels down near Naga, offering the chunk to him.

"I suppose if we did eat, could always burn off the food eh?"

With her suggestive joke out of the way, Jackal then slices a bit of the steak off for herself this time. The rareness allowed for a good amount of blood that she could lick off her fingers, in truth she can just eat a steak raw... But normally that unerved people.
