With her rather suggestive joke, Jas scoffed and joined her by the table, immediately tearing into his meal. For the moment, the teasing and challenging between them completely disappeared as Jas focused on his meal. He wasn't joking about being hungry. Only when the last fry disappeared behind his sharp, pointed teeth, did he glance up at Jackal again with a satisfied smile. "I don't know about you, but I'd say that was a lot more satisfying than whatever the restaurant could offer." He joked as he sat back with a sigh of content.
"I've been meaning to ask, do you plan on working with the Hellions again in the near future?" He asked with a more serious tone as he cleaned up the table and hovered next to her for a moment with a curious look. "Can always look at a... special deal... if you roll out with us. Might help you to afford some proper fire suppression for your home." He offered, flashing a wink towards the end.
With everything cleaned and squared away, however, Jas took the whiskey bottle and knocked back a strong swig before holding the bottle out to her. "So... you want to be paid now or later?" He asked her with a smug grin as he stood in front of her, gold meeting crimson as he watched her.
