A faction, friends/interactions, and Masters

Well, I recently created ANOTHER character, I'm loving this type of system as I've only role played one character for quite some time, however I'm looking for a faction, I'm leaning more towards the Republic just because, you know jedi and what not. Though for this particular character she wouldn't use a lightsaber, so I would love for her to learn a variety of skills she can have at her disposal in the event (which I'm sure she will) that she'll end up fighting.

Friends are also on that list, people she can RP with would be really nice. Well that's just about it.

Well, my encounters thus far have taught me otherwise...
