A few good Jedi

I'm finally trying out a new character as a Jedi and want to see which factions are still alive after the whole "Netherworld" event that took place. I'm also interested in any Jedi factions that may be on the more mysterious side, or at least tend to be more secretive or not in plane sight like the Republic Jedi. Also finding a master from set group would be nice lol. Just let me know here or PM if need be, thank you.

There aren't really any secretive Jedi groups out there. Even the once-secretive Vitae alliance is relatively out in the open now. There are other, more secretive Force sects out there of course, if you want to get off the beaten track.

And here I just brought my Kaminoan Jedi over to the GR. Ah well. It'd still be interesting to thread at some point! Honestly, I don't know too many smaller orders that are functioning, out of my own admitted ignorance, but I do hope you find what you're looking for!

She's a healer, so she's well trained in the medical sciences. But her knowledge is limited to the necessity of medical practice. She might have peripheral knowledge of xenobiology and the like, but since the focus is medical, she isn't what I would call an expert. It's like comparing MDs to PhDs, they aren't really the same thing, but they do have similar paths of study.

Ha! True enough. Though Tyl was born on Ossus with the Jedi. In fact, she's never even been to Kamino or been around her own people at all. Hence why I think it would be very interesting for her to meet a fellow Kaminoan Jedi.

What makes you think the Republic Jedi aren't secretive!!!???

The Jedi Shadows are the intelligence gathering/Sith Hunting branch of the Jedi Order of the Republic. We work in secrecy and hunt for Sith, darkside relics, and information that aids the Republic.

The Silver Jedi Order also has a sect of Jedi Shadows who are highly secretive.

When I joined the boards a while back, the Jedi Shadows (at least of the Republic) had died down to near extinction. At the moment we aren't a large group, but we are building momentum. There are members of the Jedi who are fully dedicated to the Jedi Shadow path (such as myself and several of my padawans) and those that wish to be involved but also wish to pursue other paths (these we call "assets").

Currently the Shadows are starting up a series of missions that will pit us against the Sith Assasins, who are virtually our mirror image. We tend to be a "slightly paranoid" bunch and we work alone or in small groups.

Though I should say that, currently, she's still on Kamino because her dad dosen't want her going with the Jedi. Maybe we could do a thread where he comes and has to convince both of them that this is for the better?
