A force sensitive vong...

Because the Vong were actually originally connected to the Force -- or so lore says.

That isn't the only vong who is.

Keep on looking and you'll find another who was connected to the Force by way of using a Yamosk slice of brain.

Makes no sense, Does that mean she is immune to force attacks but can emit force attacks? Is she even condsidered VOng?

*Rushes off the make a Vong Force user now*
No, Yes.

I'm making a Vong Sith with a lightsaber now.

Joking.

What about a Vong Sith that eats Lightsabers? Since apparently, there's one that can capture the all-powerful Kyle Katarn...

I think everyone missed the "canceled by Lucasfilm ltd." part. Clearly this exists as a semi-plot hole, as the character itself was written off for cancellation by Lucasfilms, while it was written in by mention in an EXTREMELY MINOR fashion. The only mention this character has is as a reason for Daye Azur-Jamin's disappearance and seduction to the dark side. I expect this was over-looked, though the leader of the Yuuzhan Vong was a force sensitive.

It wasn't the Vong whom captured him, it was the Dark Jedi Master that he was sent to look for. The Vong herself was only mentioned as a "Force sensitive Vong" for the purpose of the Dark Jedi's explanation for going to the dark side.

Wasn't the Vong's loss of connection to the Force due to loss of connection to their planet? And if they reunited with Zenoma Sekot what, 800 years ago? I don't see why a minorly force sensitive Vong in our timeline is a huge deal. Although, by that logic the majority of Vong should have also lost their Force Immunity now as well.

If I remember it they lost their connection tot he force when their world died after they fought back against the silentium and admonitor believe. Since the world was living and gave them the tools to do so it cut them off angry at them. ... Which honestly means they could regain it over time, that has been shown possible. Enough generation and within the presence of force user you never know after time. Even when the jedi learned how to sense the vong they did it because much like the lizards they are a part of life and therefore the force. Just a different way.

Now I actually want to go and reread the books kind of... but then I have to deal with chewie defiantly starring down a crashing moon

Little known fact, both IC and out.

Y' Vong exist within the Force. They do not, however, have a connection to 'The Force' as it exists within the SW Galaxy. It was explained as a 'different frequency'. Force Users, Jedi, Sith, exc do not know this nor are they adept at taking advantage of this. Only after extreme torture or other means have any Force Users found themselves able to us Vong Sense to detect, feel, or interact with 'Vong through the Force. Canonically, only 3 or 4 individuals have ever developed Vong Sense. Most simply use it to 'sense' the presence of Vong.

Though one guy used it + animal empathy to order around a couple of Amphstaffs and other small, weak minded Vong.

In theory, a Yuuzhan Vong COULD be Force Sensitive and effect other Vong (and only other Vong) via the Force. Though they would be pretty crappy at it since there is no one to teach them how to use 'Vong Force' effectively. Even if they simply tried to copy Jedi and Sith through the 'Vong Force', they'd be a pale imitation. And the prospect of a Force Sensitive Vong doing something similar to Anti-Vong Sense to get accustomed to sensing and interacting with normal Force Users...

Way too much meta to be feasible. Likewise, there is too much potential for abuse there from a roleplay perspective.

Vong are force dead, it is canon. There is no "other frequency" in the force. Vongsense is the act of telepathically sensing other vong by being connected to Vong Biotechnology. It has nothing to do with the force. The only members of the Vong capable of the force were Onimi (That mastermind of the Yuuzhan Vong War) and the unnamed Vong this thread is the subject of. Clearly nobody here has read the Yuuzhan Vong war section if they didn't know about force sensitive vong existing, as their leader fought Jacen Solo using the force.
