A Game of Cat and Mouse (Hijinks)

The streets of dingy lower Coruscant were quiet. It was the dead of night, and hardly anyone was outside. Well, except for Minxx, that is. Nighttime was her play time. She was slowly slinking her way into the underground storage facility of a very rich senator at the moment. Her prize was four of the largest diamonds ever to be cut in the galaxy. She had sneaked her way passed every obstacle thrown her way. Even now, as her eyes landed on the case, her fingers ached to hold them. She slowly slid her claw fingernails into the the seam of the case lid. As she gently pried it open, her ears picked up the sound of an alarm. Without a moment's delay, she shoved the diamonds into her satchel and took off. She artfully dodged the security defenses by crawling back into the air duct she'd entered from. Within ten minutes, she was outside and sprinting up the street. Rounding the corner, she used her Felacatian agility to climb up a fire escape and begin running across the roofs of a few smaller buildings. Finally, she decided it was safe to stop. She sat back against the small retaining wall of a roof and pulled out one of the diamonds to admire it. "A prize catch..." She purred to herself. Little did she know that she was not alone....

Jink shook his head at the woman. She was wearing some kind of tight leather getup, and admiring a diamond from her bag. Most likely a prized theft, to judge by her expression. She'd jumped onto a fire escape, and run basically right towards him, with this bag of diamonds in her arms.

Of course, Jink didn't have this vantage point on the roof, but rather a couple of meters above it, where he appeared to be floating in midair. In fact, he was floating on a surface made of the Force, but that's a discussion for another day.

"Cat burglar, huh? Fine number you did there."

(No problem :D)

Her glowing cyan eyes shot upwards, her pupils turning to slits as she studied the man floating above her. Well, if you could CALL him a man. He was very colorful, and had visible cat ears. She slipped the diamond back into her satchel and crossed her legs as she relaxed against the retaining wall. "Oh, you think so? Well, I do try. I suppose I should bow, if you're here to present an award. Maybe even give an acceptance speech..." Minxx smirked.

Jink held his arms out in a wide sort of shrug, and raised an eyebrow.

"And I suppose I should hand you some kind of trophy or something... Maybe with me on it."

He flipped his hair, and twitched his tail.

"Or maybe a song and dance, which I don't recommend, incidentally."

Minxx let out a melodious laugh. "Now, that would be interesting! But I suppose you're not as light on your feet as you'd like to be when it comes to a dance? A strange thought, seeing as how you can't get much lighter." She gestured to the fact that he was floating in midair. She curled the end of her silky black tail with her index finger, eying him with an interest only felines can express. "You wouldn't consider coming down now, would you? I'd hate to get a crick in my neck for looking at someone who's so easy on the eyes."

Jink shook his head, grinning lazily, and laid down in the air, albeit a little closer to the roof. He leaned his face on his hand, and yawned.

"There's nobody lighter than a drunk cat."

His tail twitched slightly to rattle the chains he wore under his jacket.

Minxx put a gloved finger on her ruby lips. "Really? If that's true, perhaps I should take up the habit. I could use being that light in my line of work." She got to her feet. Her face was now just a few feet away from his. "I don't suppose you have a name? Maybe a letter I can refer to you as?" Her eyes twinkled.
