Moonage Daydream
The Jedi in the galaxy were constantly evolving.
The New Jedi Order had fallen, collapsed, and been reborn.
The Silver Jedi Order was holding fast on the galactic power, guarding the worlds in their influence.
The Jedi Praxeum was educating Jedi the galaxy over in the various traditions of what it means to be a Jedi.
The New Republic allowed their Jedi freedom of movement, but were working on learning and providing what assistance they were allowed to.
The Order of the Sacred Lotus was providing healing and the assistance of the light into the Confederacy.
And the Lords of Light, the radicals of the Light Side were around, they were not going to be missing this.
The gathering of Jedi had arrived on Tython. Small ships were arriving from the corners of the galaxy, different IFFs, different logos. Military ships, learning vessels, exploration ships, to personal shuttles and freighters had been arriving. A battle group of the Alliance in Exile was paired up in the local sector, with a Silver Jedi Order group, watching for pirates, bounty hunters, and Sith. Security for a gathering like this was required. On the ground, the Jedi knew that any attackers would have to get through the Lords of Light and their … unique approach.
Coren Starchaser, a one time Jedi Marshal, a Jedi Instructor, and one who worked to allow all the Councils to keep informed on what the others were doing, to a certain point. He knew he wasn’t going to be informed on the deeper secrets of each group, but he was one of the first warriors to dive into the defense of any of the groups. He knew that the galaxy needed the Jedi, and he knew the Jedi were always fractured, and the idea of One Jedi Order was never going to occur.
What he had realized, what most had realized, was that the Jedi had their differences, and this was the greatest strength of the Jedi. Sometimes Coren wasn’t one who people would listen to, but he knew that many more did. And that was why the messages had gone out. His YT-2000 Tachyon Rising was on the docking platform that was installed by the Alliance when they ran Tython.
An old temple, handled by Tython Command, and not the Lord of Lights. The stonework was reinforced in places with durasteel, and enhanced with turbolaser emplacements and shields, not many of the former, but primarily the latter. Jedi would need to defend themselves, but today? Today was not a focus on war and defense.
Today was a focus on harmony, a focus on allegiance and discussions of the future. The stone tower overlooked mountains to its east and the ocean to the west. Starchaser himself, with several others, from the Silvers, Praxeum, and Shattered were working on greeting their peers. The Jedi knew he would be speaking shortly, and greeted the first few before heading towards the head of the room. His allies would be here.

OOC:
Welcome to the Jedi Gathering, the JediMoot 3.something. We are here for a few points and purposes, but with a focus on the following:
Jedi and attendees would be given a small agenda, with networking functions, so that Jedi from various followings could discuss their goals, and focuses, but the main things are going to occur:
1) A keynote discussion about the Jedi including:
a. The Jedi Academy Network and its use for all Jedi
b. The Fact that the Jedi have differences in their groups, this freedom to interpret the code in their own way, but still be considered, and respected as Jedi by peers
c. The discussion of what which Order/Sect is looking for, to help create a way to focus the Jedi into the proper orders
