A good place for a Hutt to grow up!

So I took what was originally originally originally going to be a joke character, and I created it into a serious abomination that equally puts others into awe and disgusting fear

I don't know where I should start up with this character though. I don't want to be a generic Hutt on Tatooine or Nal Hutta or something ridiculous like that, because for one) That's everyone's first thought, and two) that makes it difficult for me to get Sith training being so far away from any Dark side allowable/encouraged factions.

Whatever is my favorite suggestion (or the suggestion that pops up the most), I'll make a public thread and invite all those interested in talkin' business with the Uncle of Darth Vornskr.

My own character is actually without a home-planet and likely without any of her species anywhere near her, so I suppose I suffer the polar-opposite of your situation? Anyways, what I think you could do is instead do the abnormal and have your Hutt be constantly traveling from planet-to-planet in a spacecraft. In fact, you can make it organic or even sentient, and be just as or even moreso disgusting than him! I don't know too much about the Star Wars universe, but I'm pretty sure a traveling Hutt is fairly uncommon, and that way, you can always be close enough to the influence of the Dark Side! I'm planning to essentially do the same thing with my own character. Your first thread could even be still in space; you are confronted by some other spacecrafts for whatever reason. Maybe you're in restricted airspace... or rather... spacespace? In fact, I'm quite willing to be one of the first people you thread with in this sort of scenario--that is, if Ayla's crash-landing allows for her ship's survival. Just get back to me and if you like this idea, Ayla Mao can be one of the first to meet Uncle [member='Zambrano the Hutt'].
