A Grave Mistake (Glyph)

Location: Antecedent, Dragon Palace Casino, Interrogation room

Cryax Bane, Red Ravens President, normally didn't deal with interrogating captives. That particular type of fun was usually left to those more suited for the task than the Chiss slicer, such as the brutes and sadists among their ranks. But in this case, the man who sat shackled to a table, stun cuffs on his wrists, in the interrogation room of the Dragon Palace Casino had pissed off the very founders of the Red Ravens, the notorious crime lord, Lysle Rigger, along with the former President Sigourney Xanthius. So Cryax felt that before he shuttled the man off to Chiltoon to be delivered to Rigger, it was important to pay the hapless fellow a visit in order to hammer home the point that there were certain people in the galaxy that a man didn't mess with if he had half a brain.

Figuring why not spread the fun around, Cryax had also called on [member="Logan of Little Coruscant"] to join him in his little social call. If the fellow were a Force user, it wouldn't hurt to have some backup there. And he figured that Logan could use a new punching bag now that the Black Sun threat was neutralized.

Entering the room, Cryax trained his cold glowing red eyes on [member="Glyph"] who was a merely teenager who couldn't have been more than 120 lbs wet. His appearance was disarming, and Cryax was puzzled as to what the man could have even done that was so grievous.

"So, Glyph," said the Chiss. "I hear we've been looking for you for quite some time. But what do you know? Seems that one of our operatives finally managed to catch you. Care to tell me what it was you did to piss off [member="Lysle of the Hydian Way"]?"

"Do remind me please, who the kark Lysle is... look if this is about me being close to Felicity Mason i assure you that i really cant help you. I haven't talked to her for four weeks..." He looked around at his situation, without opening his eyes. He had learned many times over that his natural force sight would be a much needed tool as he wasn't sure he could trust his eyes in the unsure facts that the whole meeting would bring. "I am curious myself though as to why it took three different bounty hunters to try and catch me, the last only because i surrendered, so you really do need to explain that one to me if you would do so sir."

Cryax had been relishing the idea of roughing this Glyph person up, but the fact that he was so young and slight, gave him pause. Still, the Red Ravens had a reputation to uphold and word couldn't get around that their organization was going soft on those who crossed them. With that in mind, as quick as a cat, the Chiss strode over to Glyph and slapped him across the face as hard as he could. He poked a blue-skinned finger in the boy's face, his gleaming red eyes narrowed. "Don't play dumb, Glyph. Everyone on this side of the Outer Rim knows who Lysle Rigger is. And I know you did something to piss him off. You're not in here for looking at him funny. What the frell did you do?"

At Glyph's second statement, the Chiss laughed sardonically. "I don't need to explain anything to you. You're here now, and if you don't answer my questions you're going to going to be in a world of pain. So what's it going to be, kid?"

Glyph reacted to the slap with half surprise, his face and mouth shifting around as he looked like he was trying to remove the sensation a bit and soon found it gone, happy about that much though it took a solid minute to get rid of it. "A, that hurt, how about you not do that again thank you very much. B, I have no karking idea, nor do i care, who Lysle Rigger is, thank you very much. I am honored though that he personally remembers who i am but i cant for the life of me care about who he is. C, and please take this in the utmost respect, Kark yourself." Glyph smiled, the strange, wild smile he always had as he laughed a bit, even in the face of probable death, where would he be if he didn't have a smile on his face.

As he stood by the door of the room behind Glyph, he watched as Cryax half-interrogated the man. He probably felt bad that the boy was so young, but he didn't have the same reservations that [member="Cryax Bane"] did. He smirked as a blue hand flashed, slapping the boy across the face. It was funny to Logan to watch the usually so calm and reserved man be such a terror to those. But as the boy responded, he felt that it was his turn to step in now. Here he was, hands bound with stun cuffs, and still having the audacity to act in such a way. No, that wouldn't be acceptable. Nobody pisses of Lysle and gets away with it, he thought to himself. He shook his head and tried to recall what this boy had done to one of his bests friends but he couldn't remember for the life of him.

He sighed and heaved himself off of the door, placing the metal pipe that he had resting on his shoulder onto the ground. He wouldn't need that right now. It would probably kill the boy to be honest. He might have the take some discretion with this. So as he walked over towards [member="Glyph"] he cracked his knuckles loudly. As he neared he would reach out and grab the boy by the hair and pull his head back and look down upon him. "Baby likes to use big boy words like 'kark' does he?" He would let go of his hair, throwing his head forward again. He walked around to the front and shook his head. "Let's see how tough you really are you piece of poodoo." Logans muscles tensed suddenly and he balled up his fist. With a grunt he would throw a right hook at Glyph's left cheekbone, trying to rough him up a bit.

Glyph winced as his hair was grabbed, eyes squeezing shut as that one hurt far more than the slap had. For only a moment though, as that would recede before suddenly his vision was filled with stars and red. He didn't register the punch at first, and he would have loved to say it didn't hurt. But the only thing he could do was feel the pain as his jaw felt like it had been hit by a speeder. He was a little less quick about a recovery this time, he was used to pain, and to being hit, but he had not been prepared for the strike like normally. "F-funny, i missed you... any more i can't seem to see..." He coughed as his cheek was more than red at this moment, but slowly his smile did return, mixed with pain, but it was there. "N-now, who... is lysle?"

His patience wearing thin, Cryax rolled his eyes at [member="Glyph"], knowing that he and [member="Logan of Little Coruscant"] were wasting their time with this boy who seemed content to just play games with them until they beat him to a bloody pulp. And the two top Ravens didn't have time for games. "Today's your lucky day, Glyph," said the Chiss, flicking a switch on the security terminal on the wall. Then, with narrowed red eyes he turned back to the kid whose bruised face was turning purple, and hissed. "Plot twist. We're going to leave you in one piece today. But I can't say the same for Mr. Rigger."

In a few minutes the casino's Mirari bodyguard droids along with some beady-eyed Red Ravens goons entered the room and un-cuffed the hapless boy, carting him away without a sound. Eventually he would no longer be Cryax's problem as Glyph would be soon be put on a shuttle to Chiltoon and deposited at the feet of none other than [member="Lysle of the Hydian Way"].
