A groan worthy, but still good, question

Can a shard in a droid body really use the force, or are the writers of shards doing it all wrong? And if they can use the force, would songsteel be a hamper to it's use if the body is songsteel plated? My newest character that I'm seeking to RP as is a Shard in an empty Vyperion Assassin body with some tech not in the body.

Shards are sentient crystals and can be Force Sensitive. They can manipulate the Force.

Songsteel is lightsaber resistant. Not, Force Resistant. Songsteel does not 'hamper' any application of the Force.

Glad to hear it, I wondered that because I've seen shards in droid bodies that are rather unique characters, like "Master Popo" for example

You could've mind-wiped the Shard, but their personalities merge with those of the droid's. You'd probably just be hampering your character's efficiency...

Well, the Shard is physically just a brain. Wiping it would leave nothing for the droid to merge with, and you'll just end up with a droid acting like it has a really bad case of amnesia.
