A Hunting We Will Go

When Ana had a job to do she normally went alone. It was better that way, it had always been better that way. She trusted her Vode and got along with everyone. If she happened to ask she knew some whom would jump at any chance to help her. She was alright with being left alone though with her own thoughts. Az had always understood and never pushed her to take others with her on her own mini quests.

Why was she taking [member="Auro Sebastian"] than? She didn't expect her next target to be a cake walk. Ana knew she would have to be calculating and bringing someone she didn't know on it was smart. Ana could use his help especially if she wished to take them all out. A stranger was better than someone she cared for and would worry about. At the end of the day she would pay him and that would be that or at least that was what she suspected would happen.

Taking a sip of her drink Ana sighed as she waited for him to show so she could explain this job to him. It wasn't a job in her eyes but she knew he wouldn't see it as anything else which was fine. Saving slaves was kind of her thing anyway.

He'd been in the bar for about fifteen minutes when a young woman walked past him and sat in the booth just behind him. She was waiting for someone, as they sat back to back with connected booth backrests, and Auro knew exactly who that was.

The young Bounty Hunting freelancer was well aware that first impressions were the only impressions that really mattered, and he wanted to scope things out first. If she was there meeting someone else first or keeping in touch with someone via comm, Auro would certainly overhear her conversation over something like a comm device or holophone. That's why he gave her a little time, feeling her out and making sure that this request for assistance wasn't actually a setup.

When he was convinced, Auro finally revealed himself, his thumb gliding over the moistened outer rim of his glass. "Having a good night?". he asked, golden brown eyes still watching his glass for a moment as he grasped it and raised it to his lips to take a sip of the whiskey within it.

"This makes my night better," she smiled holding up her drink. Ana still had issues sleeping due to all that had occurred. She still got jittery but a nice stiff drink always helped. It was a whole lot better than the alternative of getting therapy.

"How are you this fine evening?" Ana wasn't positive that this was her contact yet. Men had a habit of coming to sit with her and trying to strike up a conversation and get in her pants. They didn't much seem to care who her brother was which meant to her they either had guts or were stupid. As she waited for an answer Ana took a sip of her drink.
