A Journey of a Thousand Kilometers.....

Dalansa

Little Miss Psychopath
Bosph

Dalansa sat in a training ground in the Sith's complex, holding her blade. The black handle reflected an eerie light in the dawn light. She wasn't able to sleep as much as most people, and her mind didn't need as much. But the Offshoot was trying to find out what she ment here. She was told she was to be Sith, to be the greatest thing in the galaxy. But why her? She cad come to the beckons of the Dark Lord, but with that voice pouring through her head, she had no choice. She had stayed because she had nowhere else to turn. And she was here now because she had to learn.

She wanted to know what she had really done in the duel that had started this all, when she had thrown an opponent across the ring without touching him. She wanted to know how to use this power to the logical combat extreme. She wanted to be better, to be, for once in her life, superior to something. And so, she waited, at dawn. She waited to see if and when any stirred. But she was hoping she could get a teacher.

Christian figured he'd be the first out into the training grounds of the temple that day, but he hadn't been correct. In fact, he was the second, and he hadn't even noticed Dalansa until he was making his way past her, her form hidden a bit by a statue in the courtyard, training area.

Stopping as he saw the young woman, Christian narrowed his eyes on her and said, "Why are you here so early?" After inquiring as to why she was there, Christian looked around the training yard to make sure that no one else was present before he turned and squared his shoulders at the woman, his arms rising up to cross over his chest as he waited for her answer.

Dalansa startled at @[member="Christian Slade"]'s words, raising her arm above her head as if to ward off a blow. When none came, she lowered it down again, resting it on her saber before replying to him. "I came to see the dawn. And who came out first." She didn't mention her inability to sleep longer than about five hours, or that she normally sat in her room or The Lady Starsnow until she was sure the others were awake, as to not attract attention. But today, she had snuck out here. Arms crossed, shoulders squared. Lord. "Should I not have?"

Christian's eyes narrowed at the woman as she raised her hand above her to attempt to soften a blow that he would not give. She wasn't his apprentice, and considering the fact that she was a woman, Christian would never strike her outside of fair combat. "Lower your hand. You have no reason to fear me.", Christian said, reaching up and letting just his index finger fall against her hand as if to gently bat it away.

"You're free to watch the sunrise and the sunset as far as I'm concerned.", he then said, glancing over his shoulder at the light that was breaking over the horizon, rolling over each hill, one after the next.

"Have I interrupted your meditation?", he asked curiously as he glanced back over to @[member="Dalansa"]

Nothing to fear from him? That would be a first. Everyone she had known, bar one, had been unnecessary cruel. And that one was another slave.

"No." She said, her voice sounding weak. She was supposed to be one of them, a god in flesh, able to take on anyone. But she wasn't. First off, she didn't know how she was supposed to meditate, or use her saber, or even what the Force was. She could use it, somewhat, but not much.

@[member="Christian Slade"] May be Sith, but he didn't seem to know her. "Am I allowed to know why you are up?"

Christian smiled as he heard what the young woman asked. He then let his head fall to the side a bit as he examined her, noting that she was truly unsure of herself and hesitant to be where she was. He was going to have to have to break her of her uncertainty and hesitation if she were ever going to amount to anything as a Sith.

"You may indeed known why I am up so early if I deem it acceptable. I, however, don't believe that it is any of your concern why I am up this early.", he said, watching her carefully for how she might react. As he waited on a response to what he'd said, however, he glanced around the grounds to see that no one else was around.

Taking a moment to consider how to proceed, Christian got an idea and without a seconds hesitation he set it in motion. "So if I were to strike you down, you would do nothing? If I tried sticking my saber through your chest, you would just die? If I was to hold you down and rape you, you would just accept it?"

Looking away from the girl, Christian said, "That's not like any Sith I know."

Dalansa's expression changed from her normal half-grimace, half-scowl to an expression of outright rage. She stood up, her saber still inactive, but readied to defend herself. "I've spent more years in a fighting ring than most of your apprentices have been alive. I've killed more people than most have seen. And if you even tried that, I'd cut off your....." Her rant stopped short, and she said, "whatever it is you have down there."

She glared at @[member="Christian Slade"], her force signature a raging torrent of sheer anger.

As the woman barked at him, finally displaying that little bit of hatred he knew she had tucked away, he grinned a large, teeth clinching grin. As she yelled at him he could feel his blood boil, and before he knew it, his right hand reached up and snatched the woman by her throat and holding her up just high enough that she was on the tips of her toes in order to make it difficult for her to breath. He then leaned in slowly, those golden eyes growing a bit dark as speckles of red began to make their way through either iris.

"You won't do a damn thing.", he said, reaching down and running his free hand all over her body, feeling the woman up to see what she was worth. Physically she was pique condition, making her a rather attractive specimen. He then reached down and took one of her hands, pulling in his own hand and reaching down to cup what was beneath his own legs. "And as you can see, I'm well equipped."

His words were harsh, but true. Without knowledge, without training, without hard work, no one was powerful enough to last as a Sith or a Jedi in that galaxy. That went doubly for their kind considering Sith were just as much at the throats of other Sith as they were their natural counterparts in the Jedi.

Soon he released her hand and dropped the woman from his grip, waiting for her to compose himself as he leaned back and crossed his big, long arms across his broad chest. "You don't have nearly the hate necessary to be a Lord of Darkness.", he said, huffing in disapproval.

As his hand grabbed her throat, it took all her willpower not to activate her saber and swing it at his forearm. She wanted to, wanted to slice it clean off, to put him in pain. But she didn't. She needed to keep her place here, and doing that may just make her loose her chances at training, let alone her chances at seeing another sunrise. But as he began to run his hand over her, her thumb moved towards the activation switch. She wanted to, every muscle in her body cried out to do it. And her vision began to close in, her thumb hit the switch.

And then he dropped her. Her saber came up as she fell to her knees, coughing. The anger that she kept tucked away, all of the pain and rage built up in a life of slavery, all the anger of being mistreated, all the rage of her entire life, came to her in one instant. And in that instant, the Force shot through her, a force push empowered by all that anger, aimed directly at @[member="Christian Slade"]'s groin. If he wanted to hurt her, she would try and strike back.

Christian took but a step back as he felt the force swell up in the girl after he'd dropped her. He smiled a devious smile as he looked down on her with those golden eyes, slowly seeping with red. It only took a split second for the force to form a veil over his body, a dense, thick blanket of the force that would easily protect him from the young woman who lashed out at him.

The nest moment, the force push washed over his body, air billowing around him tugging at his hair and his clothes, but he was unaffected at all. He hadn't even moved an inch. After that, however, he stepped forwards and knelt down, planting his left knee into the ground and propping his elbows up on his right knee.

"You are weak.", he said, shaking his head as he held onto that grin on his face. "You hold so much unfocused hate that it goes to waste. You try and hate everything around you when really you need to be focusing on what is in front of you. You're as weak as you've always been, but you don't have to be."

Dalansa scanned him. She certainly didn't enjoy this first encounter with him, but she feared him. She feared the power he had, the ability to do whatever he wanted, and not suffer any consequence. She hated that, loathed it, and had spent the last two years of her life murdering those who had been that way in the past. But that wouldn't work here. You can't kill a Sith Lord, or so it seemed. She couldn't hurt him. No matter how much she wanted to. He couldn't be touched. And she hated him for it.

But she needed a teacher. And @[member="Christian Slade"] seemed to be offering. "What do you want from me," she asked, "Master?" The last word came out in a darker tone, as if the very word to her was all that she hated.

Christian snatched the woman by the throat and pulled her to him. He stared into her eyes with his amber orbs and watched her closely as he stuck out his tongue and drug it across her bottom and upper lip. He then smirked at her and pushed her away, still kneeling there, his arms crossing over one another again and resting against his knee.

"I can have anything I want, and I don't want you. I do however want you to be the best and strongest version of yourself as you can be.", he said, glancing away from the girl and looking around the still deserted courtyard. "As long as you are a part of my faction, you're going to be something more than the many sniveling cowards of Sith who fled in droves as their temples fell and their planets were occupied by our enemies."

"You've got a certain hate in you that no one else has, and I implore you to find it inside of you and harness that hatred. The hatred of someone who knows what it's like to lick the dirt off of someone else's boot.", rising slowly, Christian's eyes circled back across the area and focused back on Dalansa, his eyes narrowing into more of a glare.

"Most Sith are born to wealth and come into the life of a Sith by bloodline. You, however, have the advantage of learning hate through experience where they do not. They must be grown by different means, but the simple fact still remains that they can never be as powerful as you could be."

[member="Christian Slade"] would notice a pair of glassed-over eyes as he choked her again. She was forcing herself to disappear when he did that. Otherwise, she would lash out. And that wouldn't end well.

As he shoved her away, she caught herself before collapsing backwards. Find her inner hatred? Her past was an Advantage? He seemed to be mad, and yet, in a way, it made sense. In the arena, the rage of warriors led to more powerful blows. But the hatred of the kid who has lost his only friend, slowly building up until he stands in the arena over his opponent, whom all the pain of his life had been directed at, was potent to the point of being fearful. Could she force such a thing to be her fuel? Could she find such a fire? If she did, it may be the most powerful thing she knew. She looked down, searching what little remained of her soul. Reflecting on her last visit to Nar Shaddaa, she found something. The only person she had ever cared for, ever come close to loving, almost her father, Salæn, had been killed by a slaver thug. That man was in seven different pieces in the spaceport trash compactor, but he had taken something from her.

No. They had taken him from her. They had taken from her the only person she trusted. And they would pay.

"Yes...", Christian said as the woman searched herself and found what it was that truly made her strong. That untapped rage that could be released in order to grow stronger than any who would oppose you. No one knew pain the way those eyes knew pain. No one knew hate the way her heart knew hate.

"I can show you how to harness that."
