Magnus
Bloodied Virtuoso
Despite how busy Magnus could get with his work, he always had his eyes and ears within the criminal underworld. Mostly to keep up to date on any particular new going-ons, or if there were any new individuals making their debut in the criminal scene. The latter was what had brought him to Coruscant once more, seeking out one who titled themselves “The Jackal.”
It was a name Magnus was vaguely familiar with, as much as one could with a galaxy full of aliases. It had a reputation behind it that went back generations, meaning it was something that was handed down. Which also meant that someone had to prove themselves worthy enough to be given it.
That particular factoid was what pushed Magnus to set things up.
Coruscant was a vast place, and had many levels one could delve. It would take an annoyingly long time to find Jackal, very much a needle in a city planet haystack. So Magnus got to work.
Utilising an old alias of his, one that had a reputation for solid and reliable hits, Magnus formulated one that would tick several of the Jackal’s criteria. The target of said hit was located on the very same planet he was decently certain she was residing on currently. The payment was generous and the promise of high stakes and murder was enticing.
However, as Jackal would make her way to the designated meeting point, she began to be followed. They tried to be subtle, but lowlifes like thieves and thugs weren’t exactly known for such.
