A King and An Empress

Solan Charr, King of Kesh, Shadow Prince, Yada yada yada. Did he ever mention how much he hated titles, if only he could abolish such a waste of time but they insisted on how it would make him look inn the Galactic theater... he couldn't argue though. These people he trusted, Keshiri and Purebloods that had been ok with the change in leadership and now did as they could to aid in Solan's appearance as a galactic figure. It was funny though, long ago he had been a kid on a farm in the middle of no where on Datooine and now he sat in a throne room that was as large as his old him. It was beautiful too, something he was going to capitalize on in this temperate environment as he had already gotten a garden going to replace and improve his former one.

What he was sitting here for, in a dark blue and silver colored robe that had been made by sasori and colored this way for a reason. He always did like the colors. Why was he sitting here though, well that was painfully simple. He was waiting for his guest [member="Nimue Stormson"] who was being brought to the castle by a group of 4 Shadow Legion guards that would escort her safely there without interruption. It would be a short walk, having made sure a private spaceport had access to the home of his at all times. It would be interesting to see this woman for himself though, having missed her invitation before because of... well his acquiring the throne he now held.

It was one thing to invite others to her palace on her home planet of Effekt, but for Empress Nimue Stormborn to be invited to another planet by a royal who was unable to attend he royal ball was something else. She'd barley heard of this planet Kesh or the king [member="Solan Charr"] who had invited her, but being how she wanted to keep civil apperances she thought it best to accept. Besides it was a nice change of pace to be invited somewhere, as opposed to going purly for political purposes or the like. Upon arriving Nimue was impressed by the Shadow Gaurd that awaited her, even if she did bring her own protection of four Effektian soilders with her. The large, brutish viking-like men kept a close wtch with her as they followed from the landing port into the royal palace where King Charr awaited.
Upon entering Charr would be able to see Nimue wearing her large horned crown, wearing dark green and garnet coloring robes. Her hair hung down her back with an assortment of golden decorations within. Her lips were painted dark green to match her eyes and her robes. Her boots were nice and shined with golden patterns around the trims. Finallt she wore a cape with a large furred collar over her shoulders that hung down all the way to the floor and dragged about a foot's worth behind.
Once the Empress had been annouced to King Charr she bowed her head low as response before looking to him with a friendly enough smile. One thing she leared fro her political nature was to let everyone else talk first; especiallyh when dealing with other royals.

Solan blinked as she bowed to him and glanced to the side at his adviser, a Keshiri that looked at him like he was doing something wrong already before he realized it and that he was suppose to speak first. This whole thing is so strange to him at times but he didn't complain as it helped him create a better universe one planet at a time and this was going to be the girst he did it to. And for that you needed friends, allies, people of a level that you could trust and understand. "Empress Stormson, there is no need to bow to me, after all i am a simple king in the presence of an Empress... Come, lets sit." He returned the bow as he closed his eyes and nodded his head to her.

If she had no objections he would lead her and her guard towards the side of the throne room and into the garden that he so cherished, a table being held there under a clear sky, his eyes running over it before he waved for her to take the head of the table. "If you don't mind sitting, i am sure an attendant of the palace would be able to accommodate any need in regards to drink."

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

Noticing the look [member="Solan Charr"] gave to his advisor and his follow up respinse had made Nimue giggle a little. Clealry he wasn't used to treating guests, especially not royals from other planets it seemed. It was still cute of him to act as he did, offering her the chance to join in in drink and talk. Her deep green gazing eyes continued to look at him, lamost challenging him to buckle under the pressure. At this point Nimue had wanted to make a little game out of it and see how he would do when dealing with a powerful Empress like her.
"That would be lovely." she said before following him out to the garden. Once she'd seen where they would sit she thanked him for the offer and sat down, gesturing for her guards to stand down for now and give both her and King Charr space. When asked for a drink she looked to the nearest servant and said "Some wine would be nice." After that she looked back to Charr, smiling still, before taking the chance to say "A very lovely garden you have. Seems a peaceful enough place to reflect on things. Do you sit out here often?"

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

"Keeps me calm and centered... some things in life have left my mind scarred to a heavy degree so i rely on gardens, music, other things to keep me from falling prey to constant feelings of pain and remembrance." He could feel a tinge of disappointment somewhere... he had screwed up again, too much information. Talk about the guest, serve the guest. So many ruls about being a king now when he normally would just let natural conversation flow as to what ever comes. That was another thing he would change if he could.

Solan himself would seat to her right, nodding at the attendant as a confirmation of her needing to get the wine for the both of them. It would likely be the Alderaanian variant, something that was of shorter supply and definitely worth a drink between two royals in Solan's mind. Hopefully it tasted as good as the amount of credits he had to spend on getting a supply of it. Sometimes he hated war for making a good drink so hard to find. "To answer your question though in full, I am here most of the day tending to it myself."

Hearing his whole explanation Niue siply said "As they say, 'heavy is a head that wears a crown'. In my case the saying is more literal than you'd think." She pointed to the large honrs, both as a joke and as a means to clam [member="Solan Charr"] around her. At this point she didn't want the man having a heart-attack from being too nervous all the time. She chukled a bit before saying "I sometimes find myself out in the feilds or locked withi my quaters with a nice book and a warm fire to keep my feet warm." she sighed and looked around, then saying "I should consider adding a garden. Perhaps in the courtyard." Once the wine arrived she thanked the servant before sampling it. "Hmm. Very nice year." She smacked her lips a little with her tounge before adding "Leaves a pungeant after taste as well." After that she placed her cup down and asked "So this is how you see fit to treat with an empress after failing to attend her party, is it, King Charr?"

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

He drank from his own glass as the woman spoke, his eyes running over her features quick both with his phsyical and force based sight. He got to the point where he could very slightly merge the two, but it was tiring so he only took a once over glance before he turned his head and considered her question. "First, and if you would please excuse me Empress, i prefer being called Solan. Its the name i was born with before i had any titles to speak of. And as for how i see fit for treating an Empress... i apologize again, im still getting used to this being regal thing. Is there something else you would prefer be done?"

Nimue chukled at his responses before saying "I merley jest with you 'Solan'." indicating she would accept his offer to be called as such. "I understand. We cannot all attend every personal meeting or grand gala we're invited to. Otherwise we'd never have any peace and quite to ourselves." At the mention of that she smirked and gave a small wink to him, indicating her little double-meaning. After that she leaned back and said "If you'll allow, you're of course free to call me Nimue. Seems fair, don't yo9u agree?" After that she removed he r heavy furred cape, allowing it to drop back onto her chair and exposing her shoulders, before saying "Much better."

"It seems perfectly fair, Nimue. If you dont mind idle conversation, what is it that you enjoy to do my dear?" He watched her remove the cloak and raised a brow before turning his head back to look at the plants and grinning a bit before he slowly started to stand and held out his hand to her. "You mentioned debating in creating a garden, would you like to see something beautiful?" He stood there with his hand still outstretched and a grin encompassing his face. It was a power he rarely used outside of being alone and never in combat, but it was something he certainly found useful and beautiful.

When asked what she enjoyed Nimue leaned one elbow onto the table before pondering. "Hmm. Interesting question. Usually, when I'm busied with the affairs of my Empire, I deal with saller things. A good book to read. Perhaps practicing with my force abilites or my sword skills. Nice rides through the contryside." She sighed before adding "Anything to relax after all the debate, and ruling problems and on and on and on." After that she perked with interest as [member="Solan Charr"] offered to show her something beautiful. Taking his hand she joked "This wouldn't happen to end with you showing me a mirror and then making a remark on my looks, is it?" She only smiled, indicating her joke while inferring she's had it happen to her before.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

"Im Cheesy my dear but im not that cheesy." He smiled at her and would wait until she took his hand. With a smile though his hand moved hers up so that he was instead offering his arm to her rather than his hand. With a slow walk he led her to a part of the garden that was unseen from the table where he would then speak. "No, this is what i wanted to show you, take a look Nimue and tell me what you think." The garden would have many different colors and flora that stretched otu and ran its way around them. The colors blended into a bright kaleidoscope of vibrant colors, appearing as a picturesque look into such a creation of devotion into it. "This is what i wanted to show you my dear, what do you think?"

Upon seeing the vibrant colors all scattered about in the garden Nimue gasped at the sight. It was truly beautiful. More than any of the flora she'd ever seen on her planet. Hers was a world of temperate climate all the time, never really much for anything as exotic as what [member="Solan Charr"] was growing in his garden. The sight captivated her for a moment as her hands went up to her face before settling down. She reached out to touch the petals on one while admiring the almost paint-like setting.
"It's beautiful." she said, still sounding amazed. "Truly beautiful."

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

He smiled and moved towards the flora themselves and lightly pulled her with him till he sat down on his knees and would wait to see if she did too or not. If she didn't he would still move his hands towards the different plants and gingerly pushing them to the side to pull at any weeds that had grown up around the plants. "Thank you, it takes a lot of effort no matter where you live and there are sadly some things i cant grow here but its all worth trying to get them to grow... it also helps through the use of plant surge. Have you ever heard of the use of plant surge and how it is used in its practice?"

She did not object to sit down next to him when he pulled her. If anything she smiled more interested before kneeling down and watching him work on pulling the weeds. It was clear he was bent on keeping things beautiful and well protected here in his garden. Such a sweet, sentimental side. She wondered...
When [member="Solan Charr"] asked she answered "I'm afraid I've never heard of it. But it sounds interesting enough for me to want to learn. Especially if it means having something like this back home." she indicated the garden around her.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

He smiled and turned to her from where he stood and looked at the closest plant that still needed to grow a bit more. "Ok... first i need you to do something im a bit sure you have never done before and that is to purge your mind of all emotion. I have a feeling i know how hard this will be for ones such as us and our techniques in using our gift of the force. But don't worry, it will make sense." While he looked at her his eyes would shift and it would be clear that was how he told she was connected to the force like he was and what kind of person she was in regards to her alignment. His use of force sight actually mingled with his physical sight, staring and understanding both the visible and invisible words at once. He would also go to take her hands and hold them to the ground around the planet as his eyes closed and his own aura began expanding itself while he placed his own hands onto the ground as well.

The Empress had given [member="Solan Charr"] an odd look. He'd basically said how hard it would be for her to purge emotion in order to do this. Instead she onyl watched him demonstrate by seeing as his eyes went oddly. She'd seen this before. Force sight. Though this seemed to be something else. A mix of one sight and another, the power of the force seeping in and aiding in whatever grand power he was trying to show her. She could feel it soon enough. His expanding aura. It was growing and effecting the plants around them. The very ground seemed to beat with life. It was stunning to say the least. She continued to watch while having an odd feeling in her head. Perhaps from his power or something else, but she could swear she felt as though she was connecting with the plants in the garden itself.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

"Good. Ok now Nimue, have you ever felt what the force feels like from the viewpoint of the plants? Or how the sun feels on their leaves. Its hard to understand that i know. But i have a feeling you already are beginning to understand from what i can tell." His eyes remained closed as he held off using the power to demonstrate it to her. She needed to be prepared to be able to use it and this power while not exactly overwhelming on the energy usage. It still would be more than important to understand the natural growth of the plants in order not to force their growth too greatly.

At first Nimue began to answer with "I don't...I..." but stopped when her connection became more apparent. She could feel what he'd spoken of. She felt as though her body was deep in the ground, feeding off dirt and water seeped deep down within. The sun, while hot, was feeding her through her skin and making her stronger. She felt her stems growing from it, in a constant state of pure life. Everything that was her body was alive. But time would eventually let the reality sink in for her that this wasn't her body she was feeling, but a flowers. She began to understand as [member="Solan Charr"] did.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

"Now... look into its cells, its fibers, everything from the smallest speck of life to the largest leaf. Once you do that, will for it to grow, encourage it. But no matter what you do, do not force its growth. It is a life and to force it would cause the plant to grow yes but it would die without constant attention as it would need to rely on us to survive. If you let them feel as if they want to grow and you feed them the energy and nutrients they need. Then they will be able to live on without a constant touch such as yours. Do you understand?" He smiled as his hands reached through the ground and he waited to see if she could do it. It would be hard at force, that was a given with any new power. But this was something that in his mind the most rewarding of powers as it is something that can create beauty in the world.

His words almost echoed in her mind, perhaps because she was hearing it from two different bodies; in a sense. She nodded after his instructions before trying to ease the plants growth instead of forcing as he said. She was careful, trying to feel out ever cell and fiber. Now that she was connecting with it the flower she was a part of was an extension of herself, meaning she'd feel any pain it had. Slowly she focused, feeling the flower react. It began to expand its roots deeper down, it stem reaching up and its petals growing bigger. Nimue laughed a little as success before feeling she was pushing too much. She could feel the flower's pain. It felt like air being forced into her body and making her muscles expand to a dangerous degree. She eased back, managing to stop herself before going to far. She tried again, slower this time. At a point she'd almost gone too far again but, as before eased back. Sweat grew on her brow but she continued, finally managing to end it by making the flowers petals more elaborate in color and the stem having grown a few inches.
