A Light In The Dark

Sand, It's coarse and rough and irritating... And it gets everywhere. Unfortunately, Tattooine was probably the sandiest planet you could come across, however this was exactly where he needed to be. Where was that exactly? Back in slavery, He had adopted the persona of one of the slave workers to a cruel Hutt, Sphin. He had a reputation for killing anyone who even slightly made a mess of their assignment. Dominic had witnessed this first hand earlier that morning when a dancer was dropped into a pit of Nexu beneath the 'throne room' of this Hutt's make shift castle.
Dominic, had decided to sneak in ahead of the main group in order to secure some disguises, fortunately, Dominic was always a trouble maker, so it didn't take long for two of Sphin's men to lead him outside in order to do away with him. Dominic had hoped Kahlil remembered to bring his lightsaber, otherwise this might be a slight bit boring for him.
The pair of guards lead Dominic into a spacious area where he could see a couple dozen bodies in the corners of the room, along with the off severed leg, arm... and their heads. The guards aimed their weapons toward Dominic who was placed facing a wall. "Y'know, if I were you, I'd be wondering who that is breathing over your shoulder" Dominic said with a slight smirk, amazingly both men turned to look behind them, believing there to be someone there, however, by the time they realized their mistakes, Dominic had used the force to grab their weapons and throw them aside.
The pair rushed Dom as he countered every hit thrown at him, eventually using the force to push one into the wall in-front of him, causing the guard to black out. One remained and Dom was already bored, so to end it quickly he picked the guard up using the force once again, and slamming him relentlessly against the floor until he stopped moving. Dominic took the time to strip the guards of their uniforms and to dress himself in one. He also stole one of their communicators and switched it to the Bastion's frequency. "Kahlil, I've managed to acquire two of the guards uniforms, meet me at the west entrance and remember the saber, please"
Dominic came to the entrance and opened the door hoping to see Kahlil on the other side.

Tattoine. Not a favored planet of Kahlil's. For various reasons of course. Between the CIS and the gangsters, there wasn't much of a friendly face to be seen. Yet, he couldn't ignore the fact that [member="Dominic Shiro"] not only wanted his help, but seemed to be.. Angry. There was something personal here that the Knight hadn't been able to figure out.

And so far he had been a piss poor teacher for the young Shiro to learn from.

Dominic's call came in clear as the Jedi stood up and gathered his lightsaber, frowning just a bit. "We're not here to kill anyone, Dominic. Just free the slaves and get them off the planet. Try not to be seen and don't leave any dead bodies. That'll just alert them." He hooked the sbaer on his hip and quickly made his way off The Bastion and started heading towards the door in question. Soon as the door opened he was there, glancing around.

"So what's your plan anyway?"

As Dominic laid his eyes upon the knight stood before him, he held out the uniform he had swiped from the guard, offering it to Kahlil. "Plans simple, like you said, free the slaves, get out." The anger coming from Dom was almost palpable, the fact that she had been living with this slaver filth for years was really eating away at him. The plan was mostly supposed to go as Kahlil said, though at this rate, Dom was struggling to hold back from simply pulling the place down with the force.
Dominic noticed his lightsaber on Kahlils hip and using the force he pulled it to his hand, holding it parallel to his body, he ignited the blade to reveal a streak of blue. He breathed a sigh of relief, atleast Kahlil hadn't found Omega. Just before Dominic was about to shut off the blade, a guard appeared and shot at him, Dominic reacted quickly and caught the bolt with his saber, deflecting it back to it caster, killing the man instantly.
If it wasn't obvious already to Kahlil that Dom was pissed, it would almost certainly be now. "Okay, maybe a few will have to die. Is anyone else coming?" He said to [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], eager to get underway with the mission.

Funo really did not enjoy the idea of potential combat. He really was a peace-seeker through and through. No that wasn't quite right, he just was peaceful. And the jobs he usually did didn't exactly invite combat. So when it came for him to join a bit of a crew and partake in a mission with potential violence he was a bit hesitant. As a result it took him quite a long time to decide.

So long that the mission had already begun by the time that he decided he just couldn't let these guys try something like this without him. The Miralian Jedi looked at his lightsaber and sighed, "In the final moment, when every other option has failed, then I shall use you if I must. But let's try to avoid that Wuli." he said as if the weapon could understand him.

He heard a blaster shot and rushed in just after Dom had deflected a bolt back into its sender, "Well I am, to hopefully keep the dying to a minimum." He looked at the body shaking his head. He could sense the life was gone already. It didn't help it though, "This is why me and my master didn't actually use these most of the time. Killing is just so painful to so many."

"Wait, don-" Kahlil raised his hand as the shot came by, ready to stop it himself if he needed to. The Jedi closed his fingers inwards, letting out a breath as he turned his gaze to Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro . Had the boy always been this angry? Or was it something far more personal? The Knight nodded to Civ Civ as the master approached. At least another could be there to keep an eye on Dominic and hopefully stop him from turning down a far darker path. He reached out, holding his hand for Dom's saber.

"Let me rephrase. We're not here to kill anyone. Dead bodies mean they'll shoot their slaves instead of trying to recapture them. Give me your saber. I'm going to put it to a nonlethal setting."

"Not here to kill anyone" Thiavi whispered to herself, almost mockingly. She knew what the excuse was, but didn't cafe for it. She'd play the game carefully, but she'd kill without hesitation if she came to blows with any of these scum. Slavers, and slave owners deserved death, A statement that was strangely black and white for a girl who viewed the galaxy in shades of grey.

Thiavi herself had clambered in from a nearby window, Vibrowknife, and a "
Spitfire" rifle in hand, ready to feth people's chit up.

"What's our first move?" She addressed to the rest of ragtag team, hoping for an assignment or suggestion that sounded fun. preferably a big boom or some mischeifious slicer's work.

"I won't kill people, and you know that. But these filth are not people. They're disgusting..." Dominic's eye turned partially yellow for a second, until he snapped out of his anger and began listening to Kahlil once again and, of course, he wanted to limit Dominic again. the anger almost immediately returned to Dominic's heart, clutching the blade even tighter in his hand.

"What?! Non-lethal? Why?! These slavers deserve whatever death awaits them whether it's by my blade or a landslide. They don't deserve to li-" Dominic stopped himself mid sentence after noticing Kahlil's out stretched palm. With a slow and quite hesitant motion, he placed the saber into his mentors hand and stepped back. trying to calm himself, after already witnessing what his rage can do to himself.

Dominic heard thiavi's voice over the com, asking for a 'first move'. "Try and find us some slaves to spring, If I remember right, the holding cells should be pretty much under the kitchen area." He wondered a little further into the doorway from which he had emerged in order to hide his voice from the two jedi beside him. "Thiavi, if you find a certain slave, female, blonde, around 5'7", small scar on her nose let me know... please..."

Funo slid his hand along his own lightsaber hilt watching as Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble prompted, or perhaps more ordered Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro to hand over his lightsaber so he could alter it. That was probably for the best. While Funo did generally leave his on common power, he also almost never used it, and if he had an alternative option, he'd use it.

Thiavi asked about their first move, Funo remained quiet as that was answered. He folded his arms shaking his head at the body and going over to move it regardless, at least somewhere less noticeable and not to get stepped on. He wouldn't say that slaver deserved any respect. But wild killing was just not acceptable.

After he returned he would have one more thing to add before being prepared to head off, "Should I hold back at the ship so takeoff is easier or follow someone? Can always leave an astromech behind. But if any disguise comes off I'm not very good at...keeping 'in character' so to speak. I just didn't grow up that way."

"Find us some slaves to spring" was all she needed to hear, it was time to have some fun! or so she thought, things got a little more serious when domonic commed again a moment later.

::Five seven, blonde, scar on her nose... You have oddly specific tastes:: Bad time for a joke, and she knew it too...

::No sweat, If she's here, we'll find her::

Unlike most mandalorians, thiavi's armour was basic, lacking the multitude of scanners and other technological advantages utilized by her kin, But she did have a gun cam linked to her HUD. She'd use it to peek around corners, slowly making progress towards the pins under the kitchen, one hallway at a time. This wasn't her first rodeo, and her movement showed, muscle memory going to work, acquired from her own escape from tatooine last year.
