Thousands of salutations and thanks to any kind spirits who lend either an ear or a hand. I can help you with replacement parts if that is taken too literally.
Before I get started scribbling down my Character Page, I thought it necessary to test the waters first and gain some input from this fabulous community. Be warned, that F word will be used a lot.
So here I am, Anim Hextar, fabulous technophile and at heart a droid. Such an ugly word, it fails to grasp the glamour of what I am and what I am capable of. However, I would dare not challenge your computing capacity by using other synthetic synonyms, so we shall leave it as "Yes, I am a droid." Ick... makes me feel dirty just uttering the word. So I am a d-.... that word, but I carry myself with a skip in my step, a glimmer in my eye, and these very pretty shoes. My stars, they are to be dismantled for! And not a single command in my head to obey logic... except when it suits me. Time and place for everything, even if grey and bland. And now I am rambling. I could truly have your ear for awhile but then I wouldn't get anywhere I wanted. Your ear probably would not be the same again either. But if you did want Wi-Fi installed, let me know. We can set up an appointment.

Anim Hextar is an advanced learning droid who has programmed himself with the concept of desire and want. It is in this manner that he avoids creating a technological singularity and can -almost- coexist with organic neighbours without wanting to prove synthetic superiority. Most of his body is composed of synthetic body parts that imitate the organs of a human being, but with a few advancements to keep him pretty.
This is the point where I may start pressing on walls to see how far Anim can go.
Firstly, concerning Anim's physiology, his silver blood is saturated with nano-machines that act in many of the same ways as cells in a human body. Most of them are blanks and not designated with an operation. However, they can be programmed by other nano-droids to take on simple, small-scale tasks such as synthetic tissue repair, general maintenance, and expelling alien matter from the body. Power is provided from Anim's body wirelessly, and the nano-droids have limited range outside. They can also create very simple parts, such as a contact interface (a la rotating terminal that RS is famous for using), a small transmitter/receiver antenna, etc. As Anim perfects this technology, the nano-droids become more sophisticated and robust, allowing for a wider range of use, which leads us too the...
Second point is my character goal physically for Anim. His previous incarnation (with the Archives no longer available) was a droid almost completely made of nano-droids, and could use the nano-machines to add upon himself. In most cases, this was just a fancy way to change clothes. However, for small periods of time and with enough access to the nano-droids, the original character was able to take on larger forms to resolve needs. I do want to keep this aspect gated if allowed, slowly reaching this point through development. Certainly this would almost require another thread for itself.
Also with the above point, but separate and not likely to be story-breaking, is that Anon likes to change his body like he changes his clothes. These maintain being humanoid in shape with no change to normal ability, with some alterations as needed. Any such change can not be done without preparation and materials without preparation. Such an act could not be performed by himself until the goal above has been reached. In most cases, these alterations would be a sex change, body art (piercings, tattoos, etc), or small cosmetic modifications such as hair. An example of an extreme Anim may modify is to give himself a centauric abdomen. Co-writers will be notified and clarified on any such changes.
Finally, concerning morale character, Anim is very lucid and challenges many aspects of what nationally may be considered normal. Openly flamboyant and freely expresses his desires, Anim portrays the comedic stereo-type of being gay. Personally, I prefer the term FABULOUS. Technically, Anim is asexual and appears to people how he wants to be seen. Half of the time this includes drag.
So this got really wordy really quickly. I figured I would share as much information as possible to get a better idea of where I can go with this character and where I should hold back. Any comments and criticisms would be greatly appreciated. As no background story has been written yet for this site, I am also open to suggestions and collaborations on where to begin.
