A little Magic

Alright, so for Nick's story, I would like for him to learn of Sith Magic and Alchemy. He's going to be very, very force orented to the point that he will have only one weapon with him and will prefer to use force powers to fight against someone. Think of a Mage class in a game and you are getting about there.

Anyways, I would like to learn how to perform these things gradually over time so that when he reaches master rank, he will be able to do just about anything should the need arise. And I am willing to learn in any way possible, so if it's by Holocron, Teacher, or self taught I will do so, I just want to know what your guys thoughts about this and when I should start. Because I plan on starting early, I just don't want to start TOO early.
