A Meeting of Blood - In an Empire of Mandalorians

Moments after the utter destruction of the facility in the Mandalorian Empire, Adriel looked toward her father, and vanished at his gesture. It was not her power that Folded Space around her, rather her fathers. She had potential, and the equivalent of a Master, but none of the lessons.

It was now before her mother that she appeared, out of nowehere. Dressed in a simple outfit of black on black jeans, shirt, and boots, she did not come to show off to the woman whom she had only seen twice in two hundred years since the accident that dropped her backward in time. No, she came because she didn't know her, believing that she did, but seeing the actions her mother pulled - again by means of seeing through her father's abilities.

It was... scary. She didn't want to think her mother was that bad. Addy didn't know her though, and while her body was aged, her mind was hardly more than a preteen when it came to social skills and understandings.

"Hello mother. It has been some time... last, was, when you said you needed me for saving Ava.. how did that go?"

Deneve was before all a warrior. She was used to expecting the unexpected. So when out of the blood did one of her children pop up, she wasn't phased in the lightest. She chalked it up to being her 'husband's' side of genetics. Arms crossed over her chest the woman would arch a brow.

" Knowing your father's blood runs through you. I take it you know about the bombing?" Deneve would state plainly, she would not offer excuses nor would she ever apologize for went down. She did what anyone else in her position would do. Okay maybe they wouldn't of fired when they still had allies on the ground . But, she did give them a time frame.

Next came the words about Ava, any traces of motherly affection vanishing . She loved addy but it was clear which parent the woman before took after. "Your sister sleeps..." That is all she would say on the matter to the female before her.

At the words of her connection with her father, she sighed, "Yes. I do. He keeps tabs on you momma, he loves you and wants to be there if you need him. He knows that you two aren't in the best stage right now, so he sent me. He let me see it all as well... it felt like I was standing there next to you..." Adriel said, then another sigh came free, "Momma why did you do it? I'm not judging you, really I'm not, I just... I don't understand! I thought you were different from my grandfather.

"The man won't even meet me, and is notorious for being bad, but you always seemed the best between the three of you guys. Dad is... well dad. I can't trust him to make sound decisions half the time." She cut herself off, "No, I'm sorry, that is judging... I just want to ask why..."

When she spoke of her sister, Adriel felt her blood chill just a bit. She had yet to see the little one that was her moon to her sun, in well over two centuries by this point. She had planned to help save Ava but her mother had become occupied with assisting her father.

"We need to try waking her up then... maybe you, me, and dad can actually do it."

Normally a child's words would piece through to a parent. That was that case on every exception but the current situation. Taking a deep breath so that she might bite back any jabs about the girl's father it wasn't long before she began speaking.

"It is not the dutyof the strong to protect the weak;It is the duty of the weak to become strong."

Taking a breath, Deneve would begin speaking once more. "I don't have to explain my actions to you or anyone else Adriel.. Where as you are you father's child I am my father's. You will always be your father's child whereas I am my father's child. My father is not bad. He is a warrior like myself.."

Turning from her child, she would take a deep breath, her Annoyance flaring temporarily. "She's been helped. By the man you dared insinuate was bad.. She's resting. " Yep, she was being short with her daughter. But she didn't exactly like that her husband didn't have the balls to come see her himself. No, he sent their child. That's what her annoyance came from and thus her shortness.

Adriel stared at her mother silently. Being her strongest skill, empathy whether reversed or perpetual, was a powerful skill. It gave insight without breaching a persons mind. Such as now; she sensed anger, not toward herself just as much as it was. Her father was the point of anger, it was the only logical point to direct it in this situation.

"Dont get mad at dad. He has tried to find a way to work with you, but at all times you have something against him, something to do on the furthest reaches of the galaxy. I don't even know you myself, and I am your blood daughter!" Like her mother, Adriel had a powerful anger too, and though she did her best to quell it at all times, it was rising unbidden already, "When I was a kid, you would take my sister and leave for months! To the point that I had to go with dad on dangerous missions because he couldn't leave me alone!

"Mom, I love you but I simply ask a question and you get angry and annoyed?!" She again attempted to bring in a deep breath, "Its fine. You can do what you wish Deneve." Addy broke her own rules, calling her mother by name, "I won't bother you any longer, and I'll do my best to shut dad out as well."

Turning on the spot, Adriel looked upward as if something was above them, though there was nothing there, "Alright dad, bring me back!" Then she folded her arms, biting her lip as she fought to say something to her mom. It was a semblence of her father in her, being unable to control her emotions, not to the extent of himself, but it was evident by the tear building in her eye.

"Adriel. Some things in life you won't understand. Your father and my father don't like each other. They have different views. It was a fight just bringing Ava with me. If your father weren't such a damned block head and thought he knew best for everyone. Things would be different. Your father knew how to reach me. Did he ever call me to come be with you? No."

Even in her annoyance at her husband, her love for her child outshone. Stepping forward, she reached out to her daughter.

"Don't leave just yet. Let me say what I need to say. Leaving in anger isn't the best option. Should I die or something happen to you this would be the last memory. "

Taking a deep breath, she would calm herself before speaking once more.

"I love you Adriel. You are my child. Never think I don't love you. I am angry okay. It is not your place to be a buffer between your father and I. He can reach me himself. Has he really ever tried? No. He has given half assed attempt after another . One of the safest places for you to be is with him. Because I know he can protect you. If you wish to see your sister. I will take you to her. Just be warned.. Okay. And no telling your father.. Lord knows he'll overreact as usual.. I love your father. But it seems neither of us know this couple thing. I've stayed away for reasons.."

Addy nodded slowly at the words of her mother, trying to regain composure. But honestly, it was the first time she had heard her mom say she loved her in two centuries. Combined with a feeling of being hated; it was a bit much for the daughter of Damien Daemon. No matter the tries, without aid she would never be able to control her emotions. But she couldn't see herself taking a regimen of medication..

"I know he's a block head, everyone does... but I guess I feel his side of that.. I am already 206 and feel like I have lived my life alone, so only know the downside to life.. imagine three millennia of not having a place in anyone's home ya know?" Turning back, Addy looked at her mom, "I love you too mamma.." She reached out to hug her mom, before laughing.

"Right now is the first time I realized that I'm your daughter, and Ava's sister, but I'm now older than you both. That's so bad!" She said but then grew slightly more serious, "Speaking of, yes I need time to see my sister..."
