Tatooine, Mos Eisley. This place may be a hive of scum and villany, but it was also rife with opportunity...if you were smart. Otherwise, you'd probably end up ticking off someone with money and an ego...like Rex did....It wasn't his fault that the Rodian was a braggart, insulting, and wouldn't stop trying to recruit Rex. It WAS Rex's fault that he responded by finally punching the Rodian, a majordomo to some Hutt somewhere, in the snout. The Rodian was no doubt blubbering something about a reward for his capture to EVERY SCOUNDREL in the area and his own guards.

So, a normal day (minus running from a mob). Now, Rex was strong and had endurance, but he couldn't do flippy dippy tricks to get away from the mob and he couldn't outrun them. When a mob member got too close, he'd punch or shove them and keep running. He barreled through a marketplace, knocking over carts, barrels, tables, and people. The mob behind created an even bigger mess.

The spaceport was nearby. If his location guess was correct, he was close to the hangar housing his 4R3 Light Assault Transport. He rushed into the spaceport, but the large crowd didn't really hide him. He stood out like a sore thumb. He ran in front of a slow moving speeder truck, which stopped and honked at him (blocking the mob off for a while). A stack of crates covered in thick netting was standing against a wall and a large maintenance hatch was above that. Nothing ventured...

He started to climb the netting, which held, when he felt himself get lifted. The crates were wrapped up in a net which was attached to a crane. The oblivious operator was halfway done suspending and moving his load through the air when he heard the lunch time alarm go off. Being one of the many people who don't actually care enough about their job, he thought "Lunch time! These crates ain't goin' anywhere." He shut down his crane and unknowingly left Rex out to hang.
