A Meeting of Foes

Veryiana took a deep breath as her shuttle neared Serenno, she had sent a communication to the young count that she, a representative of the Greivex Construction Hive, as well as a security force would be coming to him for peaceful negotiations.. the 7 men behind her, all glassy eyed and staring in front of themselves as if dead shifted as if portraying her own uneasiness. She wasn't scared of him.. but of what traps or preparations he may have set. And she hoped that the young count would listen to reason, she did not want this bounty nor a rival of such high power, especially now that she had much more to deal with.

Her shuttle lands on a nearby landing pad in his estate, and she and her men begin the long trek, probably accompanied by a guide to his throne room and or office. Each one of her men had an E-11 blaster rifle, but none of them had it raised, and the safety was on... Upon entering his castle/manor she took a deep breath, looking around for any indication of where he would be waiting for her.

There was no such thing as an intruder in Blackgate Manor. The estate itself was a fortress designed to do one thing and one thing only, protect the Malvern family. Normally Adron would meet a guest at the landing pad and usher them inside himself, however this time was not the case. The Count had been placed in a precarious situation by the woman who now sought peace, and it was not one he would find himself in again.

Captain Kon Nuana led the escort team that would receive the assassin and her entourage. Forty soldiers of the House Malvern Security Force stood behind the Rodian as he watched the woman dismount her shuttle. He spoke plainly, his metallic voice leaving no misinterpretation of the seriousness of the matter. "Follow me." He stated, making way to the manor.

Having crossed the snowy terrain of the estate, Captain Nuana turned to the members of Veryiana's guard, his hands clasped in front of him. As he did so the security officers that had escorted them moved to surround the group, their blasters all trained on the woman and her own guard. The security officers moved with a military tact that screamed of precision and good training. "At this time you will be disarmed, or you will be arrested. No weapons are allowed in this meeting, once you have departed your weapons will be returned to you. If you do not comply you will face up to twenty-five years in a Serenno maximum prison. What is your answer?"

From inside, Adron watched the exchange from his seat in the main hall. Sitting upon the throne he rested a hand on his chin, hoping the woman would not engage the soldiers, because surely that would mean her demise. "Just cooperate." He muttered.

She was uneasy, she stood by the throne as she had her armor on face covered and her saber in hand, she looked to adron as she kept silent as could be

She howbstky didn't like the though of a assassin that had not only killed a count but also almost killed adron, however she would simply do her job now silent as could be and when the time would come if needed she would strike

A match to oil was a fire to be careful of

Veryiana shifted uneasily.. she could've brought an army, and she knew even if she didn't disarm that she was no match for these men.. without order, 6 of the seven body guards uniformally step forward, and she unbuckles her belt, which contains her lightsaber and throwables, handing it to one, then pulls out the knife from a boot handing it to another. The seventh body guard, a rather large Zabrak with black and yellow skin quietly stands there, emotionless, practically lifeless, the only movement he makes is the steady breathing and then handing his weapon to the group of six as they head to return to the shuttle

"I'll comply.." She finally states "However I will leave my valuables guarded by my men.. they will remain inside the shuttle and cause you no problems.. Brutis here-" she says, motioning a hand to the particularly large Zabrak "Is unarmed and will come with me."

The Rodian Captain took a moment of pause before giving the group an approving nod. "That is acceptable. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, escort them back to their ship. Delta, with me." On order, thirty of the Serennoan security officers broke from the main group, escorting the assassin's security escort back to their shuttle. The rest of the soldiers holstered their weapons, no longer needing to maintain an aggressive security stance against the assassin and her sole bodyguard.

"This way." Kon said, leading the way to the main doors. After two of the security officers parted the doors the main hall would come in sight. In stark contrast to the cold and chilling exterior the manor gave off it had a much more serene Nubian interior.

As the security escort made their way to Count Malvern his grip tightened on the arm of his throne, a moment of anger growing inside him at the sight of the woman. Exhaling softly, he released the ire, allowing his thoughts and emotions to return to a calmer setting.

The security officers took position in front of the Count, making a wall between him and his guests. The security measures were a bit extreme, however both Kon and Anya insisted on using every caution.

"Assassin." Adron began, standing from his place on his throne and crossing his arms tightly. "I want you to know your cooperation is the only reason you are not being shipped to House Borgin to face execution. Coming back here was either the smartest....or most foolish thing you could have done."

"Nearly six months ago you assassinated a Count of Serenno. For that crime a sizable bounty was placed on your head, I understand you want the bounty lifted? You have some convincing to do." He said, ice dripping from his words.

Indeed She and kon had definitely went over every scenario that could happen with this assassin visiting the estate, guards with thick armor on to stop incoming rounds guns that could almost drop a rancor....maybe not that extreme but every caution had been used and secured

She glanced over when she felt the bout of anger rise up within adron, she could understand and wpuld make no attempt to stop his anger for the fate of the assassin rested within his hands and words...anya was there to make sure he stayed alive and unharmed and all went smooth

Now time to wait

"Greetings Duke." She says playfully, teasing his importance as she looks up and down the row of guards "And I think we both know that if you knew what I knew about the man.. you'd have him killed to.. probably yourself." She lets that hang in the air and then moves on, leaving his mind to fantasize about what she meant "Lift the bounty Adron.. Instead of people coming to kill me I've actually gotten people flocking to me looking to protect me.. and with my new master I guarantee anyone who comes after me is dead.. and that's blood on your hands. Something I don't think you're ready to live with.." She once again pauses.. letting him reply if he so wishes

Her joke not being well received the Count parted his cloak, placing a hand on his waist as he clenched onto his belt. "Count." He corrected, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Count Borgin, regardless of his standing, was a Count of Serenno. That makes him a citizen of Serenno, and that-" Immediately his voice shot up, going into an uproar as his anger bled out. "-means you murdered a citizen of my planet!"

The yell left the room quite, Captain Nuana glanced over at the Count, a look of surprise on his face. The man had practically raised the Count and could count on a hand how many times the young lord had raised his voice out of anger.

"The bounty is not a threat, it's not a gesture of harmful will, it's not payback. It's justice. Justice for the life you took! Regardless of reason, you ended a life with no authority but your own. For that, I could have you shot dead, right here, right now. I am speaking to you because I want to avoid that. So do not test me, Assassin."

Exhaling once more the Count stepped back, regaining his composure. "Your cockiness is not worth your life. Think hard on your next words."

At his outburst anya looked up shocked, she had only seen him mad twice this bring one that actually surprised her a bit. Howecer she looked forward silent as she looked to the assassin.

She moved a bit to have a clear line of sight on the women otherwise she made no moves at all, she looked to kon giving a silent nod before back up front

This assassin was on thin ice it seemed...ans it wasn't from the outside

She just shifts a little assessing the real danger she is in before nodding. "Right.. to actual business then.." She takes a step back as if preparing herself before speaking once again, confident but not nearly as cocky "The Greivex Construction Hive is offering it's services to Count Malvern.. hoping to appeal to his good graces for further business."

A business deal? Was that what this was all about? Turning from the woman Adron reclaimed his place on his throne, his fingers tapping the arm to the ebony seat rhythmically as he pondered in silence.

"Why would I associate my House with an Assassin and her interests?" He questioned, a genuine tone of curiosity coming from him in place of sarcasm. He glanced over to Anya, giving her a slightly confused look, even he did not know the outcome of this meeting, not anymore at least.

She looked over to adron as she gave a subtle shrug, what was this assassin playing at, she moved over to adron as she leaned in and lowered her voice to a whisper

I can't tell if it's genuine or a trick...ill leave it to you

She said and moved back looking to the assassin as she crossed her arms

"The Greivex Construction Hive specializes in genetic manipulation, although we primarily produce Bio-Droids we are also capable of producing personal pets, and a more civilian friendly option, live-stock, perfect live-stock. Docile, but large and meaty and which barely needs any care taking.. So the reason you'd align yourself with an assassin is to give your people the best possible future they could have.. and, perhaps a pet Rancor if you so wished." She explains confidently, although her expressions and eyes are hidden behind her cowl, but she looks over the two.. noblemen always got under her skin, how they just sat there looking down upon you as you did all the hard work. But this nobleman needed appeasing, and she needed business.

Considering the woman's words Adron took a moment to ponder her offer. While it did have the potential for success it would be a very wounding thing to the Houses of Serenno if no action was taken against the assassin.

He sat upon his throne in consideration, taking a moment to think before finally he broke the silence. "I have decided."

"You are hereby banished from Serenno, under the authority of House Malvern and The Dominion. Returning to this planet will be a forfeit of your life by firing squad or beheading. This is non-negotiable." He stated, his voice taking a commanding turn.

"However, in return for your honesty and returning to face your crime. Your Company will be given a priority contract with Malvern Shipping & Trade as well as The Dominion's military contractors. However, my company will be watching yours very closely when it comes to dealings with my military. If I believe you are giving us sabotaged product or tampered goods your amnesty from your crime will be revoked and your Company will be seized as collateral. That is my deal."

"Anya, will be your point of contact for all business with my House, The Dominion, and my company. She will also be the one who takes your head if you betray my people." Adron gestured towards Anya as he spoke.

She sat still watching the assassin with a trained eye careful and precise. Once adron spoke on what would happen anya couldn't help but give a grin from behind the half mask

Anya stepped forward when she was mentioned and nodded at the assassin before she spoke

before you leave, we will set up a contact between me and you...am I clear

She said firmly

Veryiana seems very unaffected by this banishment.. there were thousands of planets and being banished from one really didn't bother her, so she just doesn't respond until the girl speaks and she gives her a good look over.. the woman didn't frighten her so she just nods holding in a frustrated sigh "Well.. I best be leaving.. so what kind of contact must I set up?"

She moved past The guards as she pulled a comlink out, one that would be in a private transmission each time she needed to contact anya

any time you have business you'll contact me through this....a simple one way talk

She said and handed it to her

"You do understand you'll be the one buying and it'll be difficult for you to buy when I'm the only one who can talk.. correct?" She replies, obviously annoyed as she takes the transmitter "Either way.. I'll be going." She then goes to walk off and wave over her shoulder as if she'll actually miss the two of them
