A Merger of Sorts.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra sat at the table in her own office of sorts.... oh screw it, thats not the way we are starting this now is it. No no she would not be at a table, it was in her garden that this would have come to pass and so that is where we find her. She smiled as she sat in that garden, the thing every bit the light nexus it was the day it was created, a garden atop her alderaanian home that was separated by any other being for many miles. IT was Taeli she was calling this meeting with, and it was here that she would improve Krayt to further lengths than possible.

Taeli stepped off the shuttle and onto Aledraan, enjoying the crisp air that only this world could boast. While a vast majority had been Vongformed, this small part around the Order of the Grey temple had survived to retain its natural beauty. No doubt that was because of her partner's doing and the powerful light nexus that existed there. Entering the temple, she made her towards where their meeting would be taking place.

She had such high hopes for what this could mean for the company they both controlled, a whole new division of Krayt might begin today, and she was almost giddy with anticipation. Stepping onto the garden, she could definitely appreciate the beauty of such a place.

"Alex, always a pleasure to see you," she said, greeting her partner.

Alexandra looked over her shoulder before smiling a bit wider as her eyes drifted from the plant to the woman that now stood on the edge of the garden. "Im surprised you can so freely walk into a place like this, i would think the nexus would make you sick like the Darkside does to me... remember that creature Balaya created, i felt like i could just break down then and there as you all twisted the being into a weapon and Sith Spawn... by the way, make sure to tell the vong if any of them think disturbing my home is a good idea, they are going to lose their life. It is my duty to protect this patch of land."

"I wouldn't say I'm so steeped in the dark side that I can't appreciate nature," Taeli replied. While the light side nexus was making her uneasy, its wasn't spoiling anything for her. Maybe joining the Sith after her angsty teenage years was a good thing in a way, more emotional stability, besides the temper issue her mother gave her.

"Plus, I contributed very little to the Nightmare Child project, just a few bindings and suggesting a way to control it easier so it didn't devour everything and everyone," she added, shrugging. "And I'll be sure to relay to the Vong to not touch this place, it would be a shame to lose such beauty. But down to business as it were."

She sat down across from the pregnant woman, stretching a little and making sure her dress didn't get dirty.

"We need to talk about growing Krayt more, and I think we both have the same idea as to how we can go about doing that."

"Oh. Well my dear if we are going to get down to business very well." She reached down to grab her datapad before grinning and opening up a number of files. "Now, i am suggesting we combine the efforts of my cybernetics firm, something that really hasn't expanded too much and add it as a subsidiary under Krayt Industries. In doing so while i will retain full ownership over the company, any products will officially be Krayt ones. In addition you are also able to attain the aid of my personal AI. Eve."

"I'd be amendable to that, as long as I could also design some things for fabrication, droids and such," Taeli replied with a smile. "And of course, once Krayt grows, we can also grow your firm, expand operations and such."

Taeli was silent for a moment as she pulled out her datapad.

"I also wanted your thoughts on some potential areas of expansion I'm lining up, mainly a contract with the Imperial Remnant," she said, scrolling through the information and transmitting it to Alex's datapad. "They are trying to rapidly grow and I feel it would be an excellent opportunity for us to secure growth outside of the One Sith, even if the majority of Krayt projects will still be for the Sith. We need to have access to other markets."

"Hmm, the Imperial Remnants, it was not long ago i got an offer to teach their people about the force, sadly for some reason the deal fell through but i am more than interested to see them succeed. I would also suggest limited deals with the Shadow Empire, though the main problem with them is that they are anti Sith, which will cause a bit of a struggle on our holdings against the enemies of the Sith... Hmm." She leaned forward onto her hand and looked over at the side before speaking again. "Agreed, make the contract with the Remnant, though i would ask that i get to meet their leader if possible so that i may get a baring on the kind of man or woman that he or she is."

"You might need to make the approach to the Shadow Empire as I probably would be attacked on sight," Taeli said from where she sat. "I've heard that some movement based on Ession is trying to cozy up with them too. As for meeting with the Remnant leader, I have a scheduled meeting with a Commodore Flavian to discuss business dealings, once we reach baseline terms, I can patch you in through a holocall, if that would be okay?"

She joined her host at the side of the garden.

"They're only expecting one of us to be physically at the meeting, but I'll be sure to bring you in once I'm sure they won't force me out the door with nothing to show for it. And I wanted to let you know, the engineers have built a few new ships for production. The information should be on your datapad as an attachment to the Remnant file."

"I see... you have been working Quickly Taeli, guess ive been slacking off with the whole move of my own order... Hmm." She leaned back in her place before rubbing her chin. "Lets see... ill transfer the complete and incomplete datafiles i have, i also am working on getting a few files from on Circe Savan, an old friend of mine that seems to be working with the Protectorate of all things lately."

"It's understandable, you've been preoccupied with the pregnancy and the move to . . . Yavin, I believe?" Taeli said, throwing a sly look at her partner. "Seems like a throwback to another order that built a praxeum on that moon. Anyways, I can't say I've met this Circe person, but if you can acquire things from her that would be fine by me."

Taeli started to move away when she had a sudden thought.

"While we are placing Cinthrin Cybernetics as a subsidiary of Krayt, would you be opposed to establishing an entirely separate cybernetics and droid division for Krayt? Double production and you'll be even able to stamp the Cinthrin logo on anything that's developed. I just think growth is important."

"I see nothing wrong with such as i really don't expect it to be a problem at all, and don't worry about the Cinthrin logo unless you wish for it to be something that you would prefer to do. If so i would be more than glad to do this as well. As for the move to Yavin, ya ya, though it does put me in a bad political position in regards to the Sith, so i will have to remain neutral in conflicts that deal with production with the One Sith."

"Understandable of course," Taeli said, nodding to herself. Business was business after all, and while Taeli would support the One Sith wholeheartedly, she was not blind to the idea that their company could come into conflict with certain things. She had a feeling that would be a point brought up when she went to speak with the Imperial Remnant, the difference and overarching ambitions of the Sith were somewhat counter-productive to establishing business ties if one wasn't careful. The only thing she could really was make sure the company, while producing things for the Sith and their allies, was to stay above the fray of war.

"So we are in agreement then?" she asked. She was itching to get back to Coruscant to begin establishing things, but she wanted to make sure they had an iron clad agreement of the merging of Cinthrin with Krayt.

Alexandra smiled and bowed her head as she spoke, smiling and waving her hand as she looked up at the roof. "Well well, i do believe we are in agreement Taeli, do give my regards to Balaya next time you see her. I have not gotten the chance to see her in a long time, oh and do ask her how she likes the Gift."

"I will pass along your regards to her," Taeli said, bowing respectfully. "I shall com you when negotiations with the Remnant reach a baseline agreement, and I hope to hear from you whenever you reach out to the Shadow Empire."

Smiling, she turned and walked away, back to her ship and Coruscant. She had some work to do, plans to make, and a company to grow.
