A mission on Cato Neimoidia.

It'd be a bright, sunny day like usual on Cato Neimoidia, the oldest of the Neimoidian Purse Worlds, various Neimoidian businessmen and tourists would be gambling their fortunes away within one of it's many casinos, The Lucky Twi'lek. A lone figure, hidden by a long, hooded black cloak would be standing in the corner, seemingly waiting for something.....

Suddenly, a wealthy looking Neimoidian merchant would enter the casino, tailed by his trio of heavily armed Mandalorian bodyguards. The cloaked figure would suddenly speed towards the merchant, before igniting a red-beamed lightsaber straight through his heart. His bodyguards draw their blasters, but before they can even line up their sights, they'd suddenly clench their necks, dropping their weapons as they're force choked.....

High above the casino ground floor was a man dressed in rich regal clothes of dark crimson and gold, talking intensely with a Neimodian who happened to be one of the casino officials. "What you're asking is highly irregular Lord Vornskr, we can't take such a risk should the Republic catch wind of what's going on here-..." A crash down below cut the Neimodian off as both occupants of the private booth peered down to see a cloaked individual blatantly assassinate a Neimodian Merchant Lord right in view of the entire casino, wielding a lightsaber the color of blood. The Neimodian officially looked quite alarmed at what he witnessed, but the man next to him known only as Vornskr merely chuckled in amusement. "We will continue this talk at a later date, Magister. I'd leave if I were you, no doubt once word of this sudden attack gets out there will be Republic soldiers bursting through the doors." The Neimodian nodded and gathered his things before hurrying off to the nearest turbolift.

Vornskr merely swung his cloak over his shoulders again, and pulled up the hood to mask his features before lunged down from the fifth floor to the ground floor with a thunderous crash. "Bold of you to attack someone with a crimson lightsaber in that manner in broad daylight. You've not only alerted the Casino guard, but also alerted the nearby Republic garrison to a violent disturbance. Normally I'd leave someone so careless to their own consequenes, but the darkness pulls at you in a most peculiar manner... Against my better judgement I'm asking you to come with me."

She'd peer at Darth Vornskr, before clenching her fist, snapping the necks of the choking Mandalorians, their lifeless bodies falling to the ground. She'd speak, a mask covering her face making her voice sound deep and mechanical. ''My employer wanted a message to be sent to the Merchant Lords. I apologize for the mess....and the garrison is of no concern to me, but I feel compelled to take you up on your offer. Lead the way, my lord...''

"A wise decision." Vornskr said before he turned and strode from the main Casion floor to a flight of stairs that lead down into the basement and sub-basements of the establishment, right as Republic security broke through the entryway. Leading Azlyn down a few flights until they reached a singular room with a large maintenance hatch, which Vornskr promptly unlocked with but as wave of his hand, revealing a passageway into the sewer systems running beneath the building. He dropped down onto a small platform in the center of a large chamber, which broke off into four different tunnels leading away from the casino. "I studied a schematic of these sewer systems many months ago, and I memorized a passage that would take us from the casino to where I landed my vessel. Come, this way." Vornskr lead her through a complicated series of twists and turns before reaching another large chamber that traveled upwards of about thirty to forty feet.

Vornskr leaped from the platform to a ledge halfway up, and opened another hatch that led to another maintenance room. This one, however; was in the control tower for the nearby starport where Vornskr's ship was docked. Luckily any resistance they encountered was easily mind tricked and bypassed. As they reached the landing pad with Vornskr's Alndys-Class Patrol Craft resting idly, Vornskr turned to Azlyn, "Do you know who I am, child? You seemed so eager to follow a complete stranger."

She'd peer at him from under her hood. ''I don't know, but I sense there's more about you than meets the eye. And I hadn't really thought up a proper escape plan......lets save the pleasantries until we're off world, perhaps, my friend?'', she'd say, smiling underneath her mask. The authorities in the casino would be puzzled as to the culprit of this crime. Azlyn would've taken care of the security feed before striking against the merchant. She's not stupid. Darth Vornskr might spot a bit of red skin underneath her hood, but her true identity would be a mystery, for now.

"Fair enough." He rumbled as the boarding ramp for the Patrol craft descended and Vornskr led Azlyn into the ship's interior as the pilot crew above already went through the pre-flight checks and were taking off as the ramp closed behind the two Sith. Vornskr strapped himself in once they reached the central deck, which consisted of a small living area and the majority of the crew chambers. Once they had broken through the atmosphere and achieved hyperspace, Vornskr unbuckled himself and stood before Azlyn. He slowly drew back his hood to reveal the face of Kaine Zambrano, former Sith Emperor of the now defunct Sith Empire, the Butcher of Togoria, and once the most wanted man in all of the galaxy. Had had been presumed deceased ever since his botched capture en route to Coruscant, but few had true knowledge of his survival, and even fewer had true knowledge of his new allegiance. "Remove your mask, I wish to see upon your face."

She'd oblige, slowly sliding off her facemask, before throwing off her hooded cloak, revealing the stunning, lethan twi'lek underneath. She'd be wearing an extremely revealing leather outfit, and her beautiful red skin would be coated in Sith tattoos. She'd then kneel down in respect before the former Emperor. ''My lord, this is.....an honor.....I did not expect to meet an actual Sith Emperor in person. How did you survive your supposed death, might I ask, my lord?''

"That's my little secret, young one." He said with a smile, the artificial light above illuminating his features all the more. The left side of his face was positively handsome, a strong jawline and a beautiful emerald eye. However; the right side of his face was a ruin of scarred flesh and bone, his eye a cybernetic with a glowing red photoreceptor. A mane of black hair cascaded down from his head well past his neck, but even now you could see flecks of gray running through it. Along his jaw ran a course black beard also flecked with gray. He unclipped his cloak and let it fall to the ground, his regal clothes hardly concealing a body honed to peak physical condition over the course of many decades. "Tell me your name, child."

She'd nod gently at him. ''I am Azlyn Vay, my lord.....former apprentice to the now deceased Darth Krenval. I've been selling my services as a mercenary to the various Imperial Moffs in the new Empire ever since.....'', she'd say, sighing gently. It's obvious she had close ties to her old master, having been raised by him for most of her life. ''Tell me, my lord. Why did you help me out, back there?''

"I have a rare gift of seeing potential in certain individuals, and from the moment you slew that Merchant Lord I could see your destiny should I reveal myself to you. You'd become a powerful Sith, a Dark Lord in your own right. That is why I came to your aid in the casino, and that is why you are here with me now. The mysteries of the Force compel us in ways we cannot comprehend, and the Dark Side is strong in you, my child. Follow me, and you will become great." It was a declaration of 'submit to me and I will give you power', rather than 'willingly join me and I will teach you'. Kaine was an expert in luring Sith to become his apprentice, but he was always cautious. He needed them on a short leash at first, and to watch for any signs of ill placed ambition that had been the downfall of so many others.

She'd bow her head down, politely. ''You honor me, my lord.....I would be glad to serve, and learn from you. What is thy bidding, my master?'', she'd say, raising her head to look at him. Her glowing yellow eyes would glisten with the light shining on them.

"We are returning to my homeplanet, Panatha, deep in the Outer Rim. I rule the world and it's people as Emperor, although many call me God-King. There is where I will teach you my ways, and where you will reside until I find you fit for operations in the galaxy. Until we reach Panatha, there is a training chamber aft, you will train constantly until we reach Panatha. Then I will see what you have to offer, but until then train. I must meditate on these new developments, and I am not to be disturbed. Is that clear?"

She'd nod her head at him gently. ''As you command, my master.'', she'd say, before strolling off to the training area to work on her blade-work.
