A Moment of Privacy [Coci]

Tabaqui, Veydascee System
Sometimes all you need is a break from it all. Take some time away from responsibilities and duties to spend it with someone you love and do things you love doing. Sometimes those things involve fighting said loved one in a potentially lethal duel using swords made of plasma controlled by a force containment field. This happened to be one of those times.

That said, this was not their way of arguing. No, this was merely for him and his wife to loosen up a bit and have fun as a couple. The often stressful job of leading the Order demand that they find the time to enjoy themselves, as well. Thus, the two found a quiet spot in a forest clearing not too far from their home. A small creek ran through it, no more than a couple inches deep. All manner of birds called the surrounding trees 'home' and sang their songs of life. It was early afternoon and little Théo was napping with Nina to look over him while their parents spent some time together.

Thurion had finished his warm-up, now doing some final stretching before they would begin. This being Tabaqui - a jungle planet - he'd discarded his top and wore merely a pair of pants and light boots. He summoned his Jedi weapon to the palm of his hand as he observed his wife finish up her preparations. He studied her nimble form from top to bottom, effectively falling in love with every inch of her all over again.

"Ready?"

The sheer audacity of the man! Standing there among the breathtaking foliage of the forest, the life pumping energy through the force around him and the scent of trees loading the air with a virility only to accentuate his own. Standing there within all his physical form, his skin on his upper body and arms slightly damp with the humidity, tanned and golden hair falling around his neck.

There is something in the air.

She knows what he is doing, all to well. "I know what you are doing", she said in a low voice, as her hips moved from side to side as she touched her toes in her final stretches. Moving her feet to shoulder width, Coci leaned further to allow her finger tips to touch the ground directly in front of her only to tap them lightly between her legs toward the back, allow her back to stretch to it fullest and pulled on the ham strings. "You are trying to distract me".

In a curling motion Coci rolled her back upward to stand before placing her arms over her head to pull her hair into a pony tail. Her long black hair fell down the middle of her back to rest against her form fitting white tank top, unlike Thurion she wore shorts and no shoes. Coci turned around to face her 'opponent' .. her eyes not leaving his and expression removed from her face. She reached to the side and her lightsaber summon to her hand left the bag on which it rested.

"Ready".

Only a keen eye would see the slight curl of a smile.

"Now where would you get an idea like that," he asked while his eyes wandered over her figure. Motherhood had been generous to her in more than one way, let's say. "I'm the distracting one?" He smiled, but only briefly as he then assumed his duelling stance. Securing his footing firmly against the ground upon which he stood, Thurion brought his hilt to his lips and gave the piece of cloth a quick kiss. It once belonged to Asha and had stayed with him ever since knighthood. It was all he had left of her.

An azure light then appeared before his eyes as it activated, reaching for the skies. He was reminded of one of the Jedi mantras. "I won't let you come to harm," he told her softly. If a Jedi ignites his lightsaber, he must be ready to take a life. He had never taken a life before, nor would he start now, though he dreaded the day when he is forced to. He feared that day may come sooner rather than later.

He took a deep breath, and another. Lightsaber humming its familiar song, he awaited her to make the first move.

Although they both wanted some time away to spend together, time that now became precious to them, they are doing this training for a reason. It seemed to her that one can never really be alone and simply be in each others company. Life in the galaxy will not permit it, life as a Jedi even more so and now as parents their priority to one another had shifted and their relationship had to be placed down the list, not that she wanted it, it just had to be that way. She does not regret any of it, their life together immortalised through their children, their presence a living symbol to their love for one another and with responsibilities that have grown since the days they first met, something they both wanted in order to fulfil their oaths as Jedi, had come to pass. But deep down inside her, she missed the days of them walking along the beach, hand in hand and away from everything.

There is something coming, they both know it, sense it and so they have come here to prepare.

She took her eyes off him for a moment, turning the saber over in her hand to adjust the setting to low, no harm would befall either of them today. Once set Coci dropped her saber arm to her side and ignited the purple blade, the hum matching his as she watched the blue blade stretch to the sky before his handsome face. He took solid form in his stance, she knew well enough his power of strength both physically and through the force, he is not grand master for nothing, not only because of his force abilities but for his guidance and ability to lead. Thurion is also a warrior, a gentle one, but the blood runs thick with a heritage written on in his heart and pumps through the veins. They have dueled before and she has yet to best him.

"Don't hold back", is all she said.

Coci took one step forward and with a two handed grip lifted her blade with elbows high to level her chest and even to the ground, her saber hilt pointing upward straight and in a blocking position, she is ready. But before she moved she gave her beloved a respectful nod of the head.

The force summon to her limbs warmed the blood and set the muscles with strength able to withstand his strikes. A rapid turn of her wrist and the purple blade dropped to horizontal, the arc of the strike moving quickly and with economy toward his waist.

She moved with the grace and speed of some celestial being, breaking through the few rays of sunlight able to reach them through the canopies up above. Her form was perfect, her stance without flaws. Assuming a defensive stance, Thurion widened his footing to brace for the impact of her blade meeting his. Blue and purple light clashed to beautiful effect, and thus began the dance.

As he blocked her initial strike, he took a small step forward to get in close as he countered her attack with one of his own, aimed at her thigh. While in close he caught a quick whiff of her scent, a sweetness mixed with sour as it mixed with sweat, both his and hers. Things moved in slow-motion throughout, and the two shared a moment as their eyes met.

She truly was the love of his life.

The closeness had allowed Coci the ability to move quickly, and with a small movement of her feet to the right, her blade disengaged from his. Bringing her cocked wrist up with her blade pointing to the ground his strike to her thigh met the purple barrier. The saber's sizzled and protested against one another. The strength in his upper arms evident not only through the power of force through his blade but his body and arms flexed with the exercise. Coci knew she would never beat Thurion for strength, physical strength, he would simply wait for her to get tired which if she continued to engage in .. would.

Against Sith, she would employ underhanded tactics, and fight the way needed to defeat them, after all they have no honour and fight with none of it. And one must be aware of this and be ready to do the same if the need arose. Dueling a Jedi is done mostly with honour, dueling your most beloved even more so. As her mind worked to think on how to best this powerhouse of a man.

Her eyes met his once more. A smile crept across her lips as her eyes dropped to his most red and pump mouth and in that moment she realised.... This is going to be an impossible win. When all she wanted to do was run away with him, ... anywhere.

However....

Pivoting on her left foot, she moved out of the close position and turned to face him again about a meter away to his right side. Her blade did not waste time, and a sharp strike hummed through the air toward the back of his left knee.

As the swipe for his leg came, he reacted by performing a backflip, out of reach for Coci to follow up on her strike. His booted feet made contact with the soft ground, and took a moment to observe his wife with the slightest of smirks. She would soon notice he'd made a clean cut along her shoulder, leaving her unharmed but instead severing the strap of her white tank top. "There. Much better..."

Cue the flash of lightning and rolling of thunder, immediately followed by a curtain of rain. Weather was fickle in this jungle climate; one moment you'd be sweating because of the hot sun, the next you'd be drenched due to heavy rain. Sometimes the weather switched between the two over and over. At least you were never cold, unlike Midvinter.

Within seconds he was soaking wet, standing on the now muddy ground. "Wanna call it off?"

She sensed the force pulled to his legs, and so Coci lowered as her strike missed the back of his leg but not before she felt the slight burn of his blade on her shoulder and the strap cut making her top loosen and fall to reveal the top part of her breast. Quickly pivoting on her heels, her hand raised as she watched his back arch just before landing on solid ground once more, normally she use the force to send an opponent of trajectory only to land on their backs, but rather she manipulated the force to undo his trousers, telekinesis is a great gift she has and requries little application in this use.

Coci stood up as he straighten upon landing, a slight smirk on her own face, mirrored his. "Five .. four .. three... two ... ", she flicked a finger .".. one". And Thurion's trousers fell around his ankles. "Indeed, much better".

There was no need to look toward the skies, but she did just so the torrential rain could wash over her face and down her neck. She closed her eyes enjoying the sensation of the cooling water on her hot skin. The rain running rivelets over her shoulders and down her body, her tank top soon clung to her breasts, as did her long black hair clung to her face.

"Wanna call it off?"

"You are the one in the vunerable position"", she grinned as her eyes lingered all the way down his body. "What say you?".

He didn't notice his pants were down until her sultry comment, and upon noticing it he gave her this look that said: "Really?" The rain, however, increased as lightning rode across the skies with thunderclaps following suit. "I don't think we ought to stay outside. Looks like a storm," he told her as he pulled up his pants. Putting away his lightsaber, Thurion went for his stuff on the side. His shirt was already drenched just like himself, so putting it on was futile. "Come on, let's go." He took Coci by the hand and guided her through the forest.

First thought was to return home, obviously. The weather, however, demanded otherwise as the ground grew ever more difficult to traverse. Mud and muck made it almost impossible to go downhill - and actually impossible to go uphill - constantly running the risk of losing your footing and hurting yourself. "Looks like we're not getting a farther until the rain stops," he told her. Searching for some kind of shelter, he found it in the form of a huge fallen tree trunk. Using his lightsaber he carved out a hole large enough to fit both of them. "Ladies first."

Once the two were clear of the steady curtain of rain, Thurion sat gazing into the lush forest, his back against the dry wood. If there was wildlife still about, he couldn't hear them due to the rain. He put an arm around his beloved, just as drenched as he was. "You know, this reminds me of something," he said before giving her wet forehead a kiss. "You and me, alone in a cave with nothing to warm ourselves but our bodies..."

She looked down at her legs now covered in mud as she was only wearing shorts. Before this cooled her but now with the change in the temperature it made her cold and her body trembled in a shudder in the moment. Coci leaned into Thurion as he place his arm about her and closed her eyes as his lips met her forehead. But a smile creased her lips as he remembered their meeting in the cave. Although that particular mission was dangerous and in the a blink of an eye that danger had become real when Thurion had been struck by the falling rocks, the result of the mission was one that would last eternity.

"You were very persistent the next morning", she whispered and could not hide a giggle.

Her arm reached around his waist, her hand gliding over his bare skin as cold as her's. Coci's eyes opened and looked out of the hole, she was not really looking for anything, she would not be able to see either way as the rain fell in torrents in droplets large. The drumming of them falling echoed through the hollowed log, soothing in a sense.

She pressed herself to him seeking his warmth once more, "That night, and the following day, was the moment in which I began to live", she said more somber as she turned her head up to look into his face. It was the day she had found the truth of love. The power of it.

Coci's free hand moved across his stomach to hold him close to her, "I am cold".

"Aye, persistant is one word for it," he replied with the same playfulness, nuzzling her cheek with the tip of his nose. Still the rain raged on around them with no sign of easing up any time soon. He didn't mind, though; he had the woman he loved right there with him, as always. Her fingers danced across his torso while she spoke of the first moments of their life together, and all he could do was smile. When she told him she felt cold he gently grabbed hold of her and laid down on the dry ground, pulling her on top.

"I love you," he told her, back of his fingers caressing her cheek while gazing up into those onyx eyes of hers. "I will always love you, Coci." Leaning forward he placed his lips upon hers. "I'll keep you safe." He then proceeded to tip to the side, placing her furthest from the outside with his body blocking most of the cold. His Valkyri blood would keep him from freezing, even should they be forced to spend the night where they were.

As their lips parted, and as Thurion moved them both to lay side by side, Coci moved close to rest her head upon his chest. Within his arms is a world in which she feels safe, and nothing else exists, it is the place she goes to escape, everything. Stripped away is the rigors of duty, the Jedi gone and even the Force diminishes until only a woman is present. Not only the warmth of his body, but his love begins to fill her and she no longer feels the cold of the coming eve. One of her hands takes hold of his, the other rests over his heart feeling the beat, as both their hearts synchronize.

She had once told him, that her love would last this life and into the next, beyond the structures of the galaxy, of time itself, and would become immortal long after their bodies and spirits had returned to force. Now in this moment, she knew it for what is was. Love is powerful, that much they both had experienced, that much they both believed, and it is a significant part of who both are. But now, her words she spoke in front of those that gathered to witness their union, the words she vowed to him are more, they are, Truth.

The rain continued to fall, the lightning cut across the sky and thunder rolled, the danger of storm at its zenith, but still she lay still. If they are to die in this moment, and transcend into the next realm, she would willingly go. Hand in hand with the man she loves completely. He had found her, removed her from the cold of the Shadows in which she once hid. But like all mortal beings, one needs to hide from time to time and so she lifted her head from her resting place upon his chest and hid within the crook of his neck and placed a soft kiss on his skin. “I love you”, she said in a whispered voice, “.. With everything that makes me who I am”. And she moved closer still.

Lying inside a hollowed-out tree wasn't exactly how he imagined this night to end, but now that it did he felt more blissful than he would've had it not. There was something so pure about it, both of them stripped down to the essentials and forced to live among the wild. It was like they had been reborn into the first humans to walk the world they found themselves in.

It also brought a raw, carnal sensation which lighted up in Thurion, now laid snuggly beside his beloved. The cold had ceased to bother either of them as he rolled over to lay atop Coci. "Enough words," he spoke softly before planting his lips upon hers. "You are mine and I am yours, now and forever..." The was passion and honesty in his advances, directed towards the woman he loved unabashedly. His lips trailed away from hers and journeyed down the side of her neck.

The fire display that pitted the skies was nothing compared to the fire of love and passion within the hollowed log. As Thurion moved on top of her, Coci took in a deep breath as she placed his firm full lips to hers. His words evoked a sense of what was to come, his actions the same and she would simply give in to him. Yes she is his, always and forever and so she would submit to his will.

Yet his will was her own, and as he moved down her neck, her hands found his golden hair, much sun kissed like his body, by the days in the sun they had spent here in their home. She could feel his body moving over her, his strong muscular frame pinning her in place and Coci reacted as any woman would, her own sense of self and sex reverting to the more primal instinct.

Husband and wife would become one in a physical union once more, two people that care deeply will share love and a man and a woman that had met several years ago, still remain lovers.

The End.
