A Navy for the New Order

[Darth Imperatus]

Melkaroth sat in the board room, waiting. Previously he had been summoned to the station Vulancus--one of the main headquarters for the New Order's fleet--to take part in a think-tank that was designed to advise the triumvirate on how the New Order's navy should be modernized.

He didn't know who else was coming--only that they would be prominent figures within the navy, and that he probably would not be familiar with any of them. He wasn't here because of rank--though the fact that he was a Sith helped--but because of experience. He had taken part in most of the engagements that had so far involved the Order's navy, and he therefore had an intimate understanding of how it worked operationally in a way many of the higher-ranking officers did not. It was likely, however, that the others would bring different fields of expertise to the table. This think tank, he had been informed, was comprised of the best of the best.

[Darth Ferus]

Ferus worked his way into the room. In all truth, how could he not? He, Enforcer of the Dark Lord [member="Darth Vulcanus"] , would oversee anything and everything important to the New Order. Without a word he would move into a far corner of the room, leaning against the cool wall behind him. Both arms would fold over his chest as he stood stoic, his pale blue gaze studying the room. For now it was just [member="Melakoth Tyrin "]and himself, but that would change.

Melkaroth inclined his head to the other Sith. Though recent events had done a good job of sucking all humanity from him, he was still capable of feeling closer to some than others and he did feel a sort of residual freinship with Ferus, whom he had always considered to be a sort of mentor.
