Laekia Spaceport
Rosa never thought it was possible to miss a ship, not until she'd tugged, with great difficulty, the tarpaulin off the Golden Rose and sent a choking cloud of dust rising into the air. She coughed relentlessly, squinting through it to see the glittering hull. The sun had bleached through holes in the tarpaulin, leaving discolored patches all over her hull. The small rust patches she'd noticed before had grown substantially and she'd no doubt that without a good service the ship would fly anytime soon.
Still, upon seeing her little ship, Rosa realised just how much she'd missed her. The creature comforts, the caff machine and numerous holorecordings within. This was her home from home. She walked round it slowly, running her hands over the hull, reacquainting herself with the curves. Letting out a long mournful sigh she left it where it was, promising the Chief that she'd get some credits swung his way for holding it for her.
The Spaceport was bustling with activity, Captain's bellowing orders at crewmen as cargo was loaded and unloaded. Vendors scoured over each others goods making quick deals before heading towards the markets. Children scurried underfoot in places, irking many and amusing others. Parents bickered as they tried to organise children towards a transport for a long awaited holiday while others rejoiced at seeing one another again after a long trip. Rosa wandered through it, content to watch the world go by.
